We have just returned from short break (friends) 6-10 July. We had an amazing stay. The hotel is spotless throughout. Our room was huge and on top floor. We had a wrap around balcony from the bedroom and a second balcony off the lounge. The all inclusive option is a must. The food was fabulous. Lots of choice and freshly cooked. The snack bar also had lots of choice. The drinks were great. The service is a little slow but you are allowed 3 drinks at a time, so if you’re impatient you can always have 3 drinks at a time! The staff were so helpful in all areas of the hotel. The shuttle bus to Palma Nova is free and only a few minutes away. There is a beach down the road too. In all a great stay and would definitely return.

The stay was great. The only thing is the size of the shower box was very small and a bit uncomfortable to shower!

The Staff is amazing. I felt so welcome and supported during my stay. I would love to come back in the future.

Substandard food quality.

Generally, we had a fine stay at this property. Staff was friendly. Rooms and hotel were very clean. Food at the buffet was average. Pool was big, nice and clean. It’s not close to the city and requires a bus to get there. This is really a hotel for families looking to stay at the pool the entire trip and like the “unlimited experience”. Not good for backpackers, those looking for culture or real experience.

Rooms clean, bed comfortable. In all my years Ive never met such unfriendly staff, the odd friendly one but overall miserable and fake smiles. Ordering from bar at night you'd get told sit down an use QR code that no customers could use as didnt work. Rude. Everyone told same thing. Kiosk Keith at pool bar never cracked a smile and made wanting to get a drink uncomfortable. Food was plentiful but cold every night bar one. I cant tell you how many people tripped over unmarked small steps which were dangerous. Hotel coach very useful for escaping the enviroment.

Excellent hotel but seemingly very little around it

Shared facilities were really nice, rooms were a bit on the small side for families. Food was generally good, although any meat and fish cooked on main the grill by the chefs was pretty bad.

The hotel was comfortable and in a convenient location. I was very satisfied with their breakfast! It’s a must! I do believe they should have more irons available as their limitation on irons makes it difficult to access one. I also believe irons should be brought up to the rooms of the guests when requested, as opposed to requiring guest come downstairs for the irons - this is a huge inconvenience and not quality service.

Clean, light and airy room. Staff extremely helpful. Bus stop into Palma close by.

Nothing to complain about, the hotel was clean, staff were friendly, breakfast was very good and lots of variety i.e full english, continental, pastries, fruit and yogurt. My room was on the front of the hotel so if there was any noise from the entertainment or pool area I didn't hear any. I only paid for room and breakfast but you can pay €22 to have lunch or dinner there. I also asked for late checkout when i checked in and the staff member told me to check on the day of checking out, I paid €40 and stayed in my room untill 7pm which was perfect as it was raining all day so i relaxed untill getting to the airport for my late flight.

Great hotel. Fantastic facilities and wonderful food. My single room was small but price point equalled this out. Staff went above and beyond to keep hotel clean. I liked the more secluded location…ie up the hill so it means a lovely quiet stay. Comfy beds and super quiet rooms. I really enjoyed every aspect of this note and will definitely go back and highly recommend. Some of the food was outstanding - Majorcian fish, tempura vegetables. Rest of food was great. Varied and tasty. Breakfast ran on an industrial scale to feed the guests who all come down at 0930 with eggs constantly fried, tables cleaned and staff ready with a smile. Fantastic. Thank you. Surrounding area given a 4 as roadworks retarmacing getting San Augustine ready for the summer. Visit Majaorcs, visit Palma, stay at BQ San Augustin.

No restaurants or bars close by ,had to go in to calle mayor for that which was fine going downhill but a steep climb uphill !!

Everything was wonderful! Highly recommend! Only issue was air conditioning blowing hot air and unable to adjust for individual room. Was told by front desk, it’s set for all rooms. Still would book here again though. Absolutely amazing experience!

Lovely clean hotel with huge warm pool. Free air conditioned shuttle bus to Palm Nova beach was appreciated. Taxi into Palma was only 15 euros. Lots of steps to get down and back from Cala Major - lovely beach restaurant in sandy bay but parts of this area are a bit run down. However with Palma and Palma Nova so easy to access this was not an issue for us! Great value for money.

The rooms did not appear clean. AC often stopped working in the middle of the night. Comforters weren’t on the bed but were stuffed in dirty bags in a dirty closet for us to collect. The room is very bare bones other than a small mini fridge that wasn’t effective at keeping anything cold. Front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. We asked if they had any local recommendations for restaurants and they told us to just google bars. They wouldn’t help us with making a reservations at a nearby restaurant. They also make you wear these hideous lime green wristbands during your entire stay. I would not recommend this hotel and would never return.

I liked the hotel, however it is a 15min walk to the center and 20min walk to the beachside on a steep hill.

The food was very nice as was the pool area. The so called ‘entertainment’ was terrible both during the day and in the evening. Absolutely embarrassingly bad.

The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Mira have me some great advice for trips out. The hotel is very clean in all areas. The staff are out early cleaning the pool area every day. The entertainment team made a great effort. I particularly enjoyed ‘The Pink Ladies’ and their free cocktails. I loved the free shuttle to Palma Nova. Lots of choice for the buffet. A great stay. I stayed here for a few days this July for a solo break. The hotel was clean and it felt safe. The pool was clean and there were enough sun lounges. The poolside food and drink options were great. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because there aren’t a huge amount of veggie options in the dining facilities and twice when I asked about a dish which had no label I was informed at that counter by the chef working there that there were no veggie options notwithstanding a dish which was “labelled as veggie” at that counter; when I queried this the chef said it’s not really vegetarian which meant all the food items were not labelled correctly and on prior dining occasions I may have had something which was labelled vegetarian but actually wasn’t. The hotel itself in terms of bed room space, cleanliness, reception staff, cleaning staff, pool and outdoor space is great! The reception staff are very friendly and welcoming and helped me with a number of queries and with directions.

The property is clean, friendly staff and food is good and has enough variety. Every day there seems to be some kind of theme. Drinks and snacks during the day OK and in June there is not a mass of people. The area around the hotel has not much to do. The hotel is on a hill so expect climbing from restaurants and shops back to the hotel. Convenient bus connections from the hotel to Palma and Palmanova/magaluf

Super pleasant 1 night stay in that hotel ! Super easy access by bus from the city center (a bus stop is right in front of the hotel). The swimming pool is as great as it looks on pictures. Rooms are pretty spacious, super confortable and look like they were recently renovated. Super clean and modern bathroom as well. The balcony is pretty big, and the pool view is enjoyable. I was there on a day without any night animation, so I can't really judge that part, but let's say that I was a bit disappointed as the common areas were already pretty empty around 10/11pm. Not the best if you want to socialize a bit. But the only real downside is probably the location : let's say that the area around (were the shops and restaurants are) is not the best, although I managed to find a couple of really nice places to have food and parties ;-) On the other hand, the beach that is 10 minutes away from the hotel by feet is a really nice one ! The water was super clear, I definitely appreciated it :) Overall, I highly recommend this place for a few days in Palma de Majorca (but probably not for an entier week, in my opinion)

Nice hotel, friendly staff and reasonable prices for food. Room is quite basic but good enough overall.

We were here for a long weekend. The hotel is very minimalistic on the verge of basic but a very very nice environment to be in. The food choice looks small but it isn’t. there wasn’t anything that I tasted that I didn’t enjoy. The rooms were airy, the bathrooms were small, but more than functional. Lovely big showers and the balconies all have Some at some point during the day. We booked the cheapest room available which was shown as an unrefurbished room. The room we were given had been refurbished and was at the back of the property over the kitchen. I instantly was concerned about noise pollution. There was none. Wonderful morning sun. The animation team do their best to cheer everybody on. It’s a shame that people don’t take part in their activities because they are very good. The grounds are very well maintained. The pool and loungers are very nice and plentiful. We upgraded to all inclusive. I was very happy with everything that was included Now the negatives. There is a tourism tax that needs paying locally at the hotel. The hotel provides beach/pool towels, but these come at €3 a day with a €20 deposit in cash. The service at the pool bar and the pool snack bar is painfully slow , I ordered a chicken kebab and a salad. It would have been quicker for me to have dried off, dressed and gone to the main dining room, eaten a three course meal with a glass of wine served in a glass than it did to get something from the snack & pool bar.

This place need face lift

Really liked the food and activities. Shame pool terrace needed sweeping and hosing daily. Pool grids should be cleaned weekly. Neither were evident

I stayed in a single room, the hotel is nice but crazy busy. If you don’t pay a lot for it then great. Bus access to palma centre is great as well as portal nous, plenty around also. Bit of a climb to get there from the beach

BQ Belvedere is a great place for a family holiday, the pool is fabulous and the hotel is modern and stylish. We found our room to be very clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area. The facilities are excellent and the staff put on entertainment for the children and the adults during the day and in the evenings too.
