This is right on the seafront, only 10 mins walk from the station. The room had all the comforts, and i particularly liked the view from my window to the sea. Would recommend, as quiet, good wifi, en-suite. Everything you need, and also plenty of restaurants close bye.

Enjoyable short stay in a family room. COVID precautions in place to keep safe with good breakfast menu cooked to order. Close to town centre with restaurants nearby and on the sea front, great location.

Perfect location. However the hotel could tidy the pieces of wood that were leaning against the wall of the dining room. Decor is slightly shabby.

At first glance room is nice but beding was ripped had no hot water for two days breakfast wasn't included but money was refunded for that still think it was expensive

My husband and i stayed at the Esplanade Hotel for a week and what a fab time we had from the moment we got there until we left.The room was immaculate and nothing was to much trouble for the host and staff.The breakfast we had everyday was absolutely lovely and the service from the staff impeccable.They went above and beyond to help with anything we needed and were friendly as well.Well done to rob and his team we definitely will be coming back again very soon and once again many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Stayed for a couple of nights May bank holiday, last minute booking & everything ran smoothly on check in. Very COVID aware & we felt very safe, place was spotless. Rob the host was lovely & made us feel very welcome. Right on the seafront with lots of activities, shopping & restaurants within 5 minute walk. Would definitely return.

Great time Rob was really accomodating beforehand and has done all he can to make the building covid safe. I did find the takeout breakfast style slightly overpriced, had I realised the total format (takeout cardboard cases not plates for example) I might have chosen the no breakfast option. The room was great, fabulous view, lively Weymouth photos on walls of stairs. A good time, thank you

Excellent location right on the sea front at the quieter end of town but close enough to walk into town. To get to the beach simply cross the road. We went whilst there was distancing rules in place and Rob and his family managed to cope very well with the changes that he had to make. All in all excellent stay and very good value for money for August.

The decor is dated and shabby, tired and tatty towels, bathroom cleanliness average.

Rob gave us a warm welcome. The food was very good. The locks on the doors need replacing as struggled a few times with the room key. We all enjoyed our stay for sure.

Really friendly staff, lovely bedroom and bed, great location just off the main part of the beachfront (so a bit quieter - head straight across the street for a swim). Lovely breakfast! The only downside was that the WiFi did not work at all while we were there.

One night stop in glourious weather.
The owner Rob was brilliant and so laid back it was a joy as was the breakfast he put up which was absolutley top nothch both in quality and quantity.
Fantastic location with the beach litterally across the road.

Great room and location, good breakfast but internet slow and kept tripping out, water pressure in the shower poor and the temperature kept changing, room lighting not suitable for reading.

Rob the owner is great. Really makes you feel welcome and wants you to enjoy your stay. Lovely room. Great bed. Fantastic sea view. Lovely breakfast. Really enjoyed the stay and would recommend this to others.
The things that could be an issue were very minor: The bathroom light being motion activated took some getting used to. The bathroom fan that comes on with the leith makes a loud buzzing sound when the door is closed. We found the water temp in the shower very hard/impossible to get it anywhere between too hot and too cold. I suspect our room at the very top of the building had the lowest pressure and that accounted for the difficulty.

On arrival we were greeted by a nice chap (Rob) who instantly made us feel welcome. Its lovely clean and well run with minimal noise. Cracking breakfast we have 2 young daughters and they had so much choice they loved it. Overall ..perfect thank you Esplanade.

You can not call it a 4hotel as there is no manned reception, breakfast served as per order but only two stafff who tend to forget what you have ordered.we have to wait half a hour then remind Ed her to get our breakfast.They did not change bedsheets, towel etc next day Room is small . Electric kettle was broken from the topLastly the car park is at the backside of the hotel which you can not reach directly you have to go all around the front to walk. Actually the hotel is ok if you r paying lessWe had paid around 105 per night which is not worth the money

The hotel is in a great location almost on the seafront and opposite a fantastic Italian restaurant called Al Molo. The room was a bit on the small side but that is my only negative comment. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the very friendly owner Rob sorted other things out immediately so they were not an issue.
