Fabulous, from the moment we checked in Ian was a great host! A very relaxed atmosphere, with many added touches (home baking, sweetie bowl, cakes). A myriad of treasures, will certainly be back!

Amazing stay and the owners made us so welcome like family .Breakfast was lovely and very tasty kept you full till tea time.Room was so comfortable lovely place very quirky.

A fantastic gem of a guest house, ideal for visiting Lincoln. The Victorian decor & character is pleasant & homely. The hosts lain & Anna treated us & all guests during our stay like royalty. The pine room we stayed in was luxurious & cosy. The continental breakfast boasted great variety with hot beverages & toast served on request. Thoroughly reccomend & would stay again soon.

Only stayed for a night but had such a lovely experience. The Victorian room is gorgeous, I loved all of the little trinkets and antiques, it's hard to feel bored as there's so much to look at! Iain and Anna make you feel so welcome and cared for like family without being intrusive at all. The homemade oat cookies are not to be missed! I will absolutely be recommending Creston Villa to any friends or family travelling to Lincoln :)

Iain and Anna will make you feel part of the family on arrival. You have access to the kitchen and dining area at all times meaning you don't have to stay in your room; although your room will also feel like home given all the special little touches and additions located within. My new go to location whenever close to Lincoln

Creston villa is a surprisingly pleasant little B & B, and well recommended if you are heading to Lincoln. It is a beautifully decorated and thoughtfully designed treat, which does not sell itself in the manner it should. The owners Ian and Anna could not do enough to ensure our stay was perfect, and I would not hesitate to say they are the friendliest owners I have come across. We were in the 'Victoiran room' at the front of the building, yet despite being on a major road there was no traffic noise at all. The bedroom was a delight, far removed from the usual bland interior you might expect for the price we paid. While there I sampled the home made marmalade which was delicious. I bought a jar of the thick cut with whisky. Also highly recommended. Cannot imagine there is a nicer alternative to Creston villa in the area. Well worth a visit, and it is a reasonable walk into the town centre. The breakfast was continental so no big fry up, but plentiful and more than enough to start your day.

Check in was great and property owners are fantastic. On site parking is not available so you have to use surrounding roads. This requires parking on pavements a short distance away which is not convenient and very annoying in places as the vehicles on the pavements did not leave enough room for cases to get tthrough. Room we had was on the first landing facing the road. Was very noisy at night with a lot of Ambulance traffic. The bathroom was not directly connected to the room but located on the landing outside so was not convenient to use at night. Shower was also on the small side. I would recommend having a rear room if staying here. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Location is close to town but not really walkable.

Anna and Iain are excellent hosts. They obviously enjoy having guests. We would recommend this B&B.

Excellent hosts, immaculately presented, spacious rooms and plenty of communal space to relax in, what's not to like? Creston Villa is the antithesis of chain hotels and will be the first place I look at when I next head for Lincoln.

Brilliantly maintained quaint little place with very welcoming hosts!

The owners have clearly put thought and love into this guesthouse. It's practical with everything you need, and the amenities are high quality (good hairdryer, super-soft bedding, nice range of teas and homemade snacks). It's also pleasantly quirky with interesting decor. I smoke and especially appreciated the patio area with the amazing ornaments. The house is also spotless (and I mean, spotless!) but not the sort of place where you feel constrained by that. On the contrary, the owners, Iain and Anna, are warm, friendly, and engaging with a good sense of humour. They make you feel relaxed, welcome, and "at home". I really appreciated the snacks that catered to my dietary requirements - very thoughtful. The care from the owners and attention to detail all makes for a great atmosphere where I think anyone would feel very comfortable staying. Highly recommended. Thanks for your hospitality!

Plenty of food, more than a recent hotel stay we had. Lovely room and comfortable bed and shower also good, only downside was facing the main road and had to have the window open due to heat so very noisy, we had the attic room. Parking was tight but owner did it for us. We would recommend and the owners were very pleasant.

Lovely guest house lian and anna very friendly The walkto the town Centre ok, very steep hill upto the castle and the cathedral but well worth the climb. Bus tour worthwhile,. Lots of resturants in both the town centre, the water front and up by the castle.

Where to begin…. We were made family here! My husband and I stayed at many hotels during our trip and this was one of the LOVELIEST. Our hosts went above and beyond to welcome us! The home is stunning with so much beautiful Victorian character and the location is perfect. We only wish we had more time to chat and explore Lincoln. Wonderful and perfect stay!!!!

Room was nice and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Breakfast is good. The hosts, Anna and Iain, go out of their way to be friendly and helpful and I have no hesitation in recommending Creston Villa Guest House as a great place to stay.

The Guest House was extremely cosy. Had a great night sleep. The room was beautifully decorated and unique. The breakfast was delicious. As were the homemade oat cookies. Anna and Iain were such friendly and welcoming hosts. They provide an exceptional service which is hard to find everywhere. Will definitely be back again!!!
