Good value hotel, room was basic but very clean.

A little manic at breakfast. Central heating noises during the night. Evening entertainment second to none, Excellent

Did not keep up to the value of the money paid. Things to mention are staff at the breakfast service and the location. The block we were allocated did have scaffolding which stood between the view of the beach and the window even if we wanted to ignore. at least Window could have been cleaner.

Very fun clean hotel with fun entertainment at night very friendly nothing was too much trouble

This is a nice, cosy, well looked after hotel which I found to be clean and comfortable. Do be aware, though, that this is a hotel with nightly entertainment till 11pm, and it’s pretty loud. Those that were downstairs were having a whale of a time, so I’m sure this is a winner for a lot of people. If you want early nights then make sure you request a room away from that area!

The hotel was clean, but very tired. Scaffolding around the hotel was disappointing. Staff did not project positivity and pleasantness. The last morning at breakfast the waitress was quite rude.
It served a purpose - we had a lovely weekend regardless. Not a hotel we would go back to.

After a five hour travel and a few hour at Rhos- on - Sea,I arrived at Chatsworth Hotel anticipating a relaxing time in the advertised pool. Unfortunately it was under maintenance which I was very disappointed about. This was the main if not the only attraction for me personally.
On a plus note all the staff were very friendly and helpful which eased the pain.
Great breakfast, great service. I would come again expecting after a five hour journey that the pool would be open this time.

I enjoyed my stay and I don’t understand the negative reviews. My room was very spacious with a nice view and the location is perfect. It also has a lovely heated swimming pool. Staff were friendly too. Enjoy a nice cup of tea while watching the view in your own room.

I would not advise anyone who is under the age of 60 to stay here. The hotel has entertainment every night apart from Sunday, which is not to be desired. Also the whole hotel is very out-dated and is in desperate need of a complete refurbishment. The breakfast was not the best, the toast came each day burnt and cold and the full English breakfast was very average.

We have stayed several times before, but to be honest were a bit disappointed with our room this time, the room hadn't been cleaned properly (the alternative offered was even worse) and it took a little while to sort. But we got there. Having said that the breakfast was good as usual and the pool is the best in Llandudno.

Arrived met by very friendly and helpful staff and again very friendly and helpful staff at breakfast. Lovely clean room with a sea view would definitely stop again.

Hotel in need of TLC. Staff need some training as lack professionalism and customer service. Agree with comments from other guests about coach parties getting priority. Good luck finding clean cups, bowls and plates in the dining room!!!
Plus side - pool nice

The bedroom was in need of some care and attention. The window was painted shut so it wouldn’t open. The shower ran hot and cold. I’m glad we were only booked in for two nights.

Good position on promenade

The downstairs of the hotel is quite dated, however our room had recently been refurbished and was bright and airy, with lovely views of the bay.
The staff, who were rushed off their feet with coach parties, were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was quite basic, with a help yourself buffet, with the usual stuff, bacon, sausage, eggs etc and packet cereal. It would’ve been nice to have a few more options.
The kids enjoyed the pool, which was clean and safe.
Once the ground floor of the hotel is refurbished, it’ll be a really nice hotel again.
The hotel is central to everything that Llandudno has to offer.

The location was great
I didn't like that the parking wasn't awalible and we needed to walk some distant to the car.

Overpriced, dated, Reception was a total shambles at check-in. Only the night porter was pleasant and helpful

Why when single people travel do we always pay a premium for a Single then get a lower standard room at top of hotels(attic)?

This hotel is disgusting. It's dated very dirty and just shouldnt be advertised as a hotel. The first room we was sent to was being decorated and basically not ready, my mum was not very mobile and had to get her a chair to sit on the third floor while we arranged another. It doesn't offer basic amenities like shampoo or conditioner. Took my mum her for her birthday and it was embarrassing she actually cut herself on the so called dresser as it was so worn on the end. I had to clean the room on arrival with antibacterial wipes as there was flies an layers of dust all on the surfaces. We was unable to lock the door at night due to faulty lock so I had to put something Infront of the door. I understand the staff was very busy and to be honest they was really nice especially the man who served the breakfast shock was the only good thing of the whole stay. But to be honest. The whole place needs to be guttered an redone

On the plus side the staff were very friendly and welcoming. While the main decor and furnishings inside the hotel were characterful and was generally a nice, pleasant environment it would benefit from some investment. The hotel clearly caters for the older generations, typically those arriving by coach-trip. Breakfast was standard-fare - clearly the hotel caters for a lot of people and what is offered is obviously prepared en mass. While I didn't go in it, the small pool is obviously a nice touch but again is somewhat dated, particularly the facilities with it. Based on the above, I would probably even give this hotel a 4 but the room itself was a let-down - there was a drainage-type odour on entering the room and the 'sea-view' on the third floor was a high-level uPVC window which was also grubby (unfortunately the 'shelf' outside the window was an attraction for seagulls, hence the mess left). The room was neither here nor there in terms of being aesthetically pleasing. The bed was a bit springy but I did manage to get a restful night's sleep. While the bathroom had been modernised and was actually quite nice, there was next to no shower pressure in the morning, and also cold for the first few minutes - this was a big faux par given what was paid for the room

I liked the position ie beach front and the swimming pool. The room was clean and the staff were helpful and polite.
Did not like the room. The bathroom was shabby, black mold on the bath mat, taps hard to turn off and on, rusty mirror and shower rail, insecure toilet seat, no soap. Bedroom curtain rail not able to draw, curtain rail ?rusty. Impossible to shut out the light. Cheap furnishings, drawers were ill fitting. Old sash windows, unable to open above 3 inches (understand the safety aspect)
For £300 for two nights was expecting much more. Disappointing is an understatement. We gave them our feedback on check out.

Room was not cleaned, drawers still had previous occupants rubbish in, carpet was dirty and bathroom was extremely dirty and shower did not stay constant temperature it kept fluctuating from cold to very hot. Curtain rail broken so had to use a chair to keep curtains closed when dark.
The sea view was good though, as was the location.

Our bathroom could have benefitted from an refurbishment. The room was very clean and comfortable, lovely clean towels. Staff were very friendly. Great entertainment on Saturday night with very talented singer who was definitely a hit with us.

The only complaint I have is the bathroom was poor could have done with a new shower cubicle.
