This is my second time staying here and I will stay here whenever it’s available for my trips to Dartmouth. It’s comfortable, quiet, close to downtown and the ferry to Halifax. The owner is on site and communication is clear. Lots of amenities in both units as I’ve stayed in both and they are very clean and we maintained. Parking on site. Such a great spot.

I was staying for the weekend for a training. This was a wonderful experience. The owner Andy reached out the day before I arrived to give me his contact info and then greeted me when I arrived. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had lots of amenities. Quiet area in downtown Dartmouth and very close to the ferry terminal. I will definitely stay here again.

The property is a 10 min. walk from the pedestrian ferry to the Halifax waterfront, absolutely brilliant. The property is very nice and the free laundry facilities were a real bonus. The owner was very helpful with the check in and contacted us well before we arrived. Our only criticism is that the air con didn't keep the property very cool.

Andy’s apartment was very comfortable. All the furnishings were in very good condition and the kitchen was well stocked. The laundry was easy to access and was also clean with everything in good condition.

This a lovely apartment, comfortably furnished and located across from
a park and near the ferry to Halifax. My only concern would be the traffic noise although this wasn't intrusive when the windows were closed.

Very happy with the full kitchenette, and living space provided. Quick walk to some nice harbour views and a short drive to the bridge into Halifax. Emailed provided and the lockbox system was easy, they also accommodated an early check-in.

My husband and I stayed two nights here and very much enjoyed our visit. The apartment has an excellent location: a short walk from the ferry that takes you to Halifax. The apartment was spacious and more than adequate for two people. The kitchen was equipped with all the basics to cook your own meal. The bed was comfortable, and everything was very clean. There is a laundry room for the building and we were grateful to take advantage of that. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

Very nice apartment within walking distance of stores. Only took a 10 minute drive to get to the Citadel and the Navy museum. Bed was comfortable and check in was easy.

It was in a great location for arriving from the airport, for walking to the ferry and easy to exit the city.
We only stayed for one night but it would he great for a longer stays as it has a well equiped kitchen, a nice living room area and comfortable bed

This is an interesting Dartmouth neighbourhood, with a view of the harbour as you walk out the door. With the stove top, microwave, and fridge, I was all set for my stay. Also, if you're looking to go to Halifax for a side visit, this property is a short walk to the ferry, which will take you across the harbour.

We enjoyed our stay at Windmill Walk. It was a great location for walking, ferry and pathways. The space was clean and neat. Communication with the owner was prompt. We will be keeping this location in mind for future stays in Dartmouth.

Very easy access to the Halifax waterfront, citadel and museums. There is a ferry ten minute walk that takes you across to downtown Halifax. Inexpensive and scenic. If you want to drive, it is very close to the bridge downtown.

The unit itself was nice, well appointed. Bed has been very used and was uncomfortable. Traveling solo and as a woman, I did not feel 100% secure. The front door which is the only door with a lock on it is fully exposed to anyone outside. A window covering on the front door would add another layer of security. As well, another lock on the internal door leading to the front would being added comfort. There should be operating hours for the laundry room as my last night resulting in interrupted sleep in to close to 2am since the laundry room was directly under my unit. I could hear the banging of the machine clearly.

Very convenient to the ferry and Halifax, this charming property feels snug and offers all the comforts. If getting around by foot, there is a steep incline to negotiate and you’ll be passing the neighborhood “characters”. I had no problems of any sort but be aware.
