Loved this location and the views! Drank our coffee every morning in the backyard overlooking the valley, and spent our evenings around the fire. The house had everything we needed and loved its charm! Just a short drive to Genoa and Virginia City. We also enjoyed the great food and brew houses in Reno.

We came out to Reno for a wedding. We also wanted to relax and meet up with family. From the comfortable beds, the beautifully sunrises, the view of downtown town and the large living area, we would stay here again. We especially liked the back yard and spent an abundance of our time outside.

Very unique mid century house. Perfect for entertaining. The backyard was where we spent most of our time. Breakfast on the patio, lunch on the patio, dinner on the patio. Smores on the patio using the firetable. Couldn't get enough of the view and the sounds of the peacocks echoing through the canyon.

Backyard is amazing to sit out and relax. Great Location. Everything was clean and in order. Kaati was responsive and helpful. Would stay again for sure. Thanks!

We loved our time at this beautiful home. The property had everything that we needed for our brief stay. The location is in a quiet neighborhood that is a short drive to the downtown area. The host was kind and available if needed. I would definitely stay here again!

The house was just as pictured/advertised. The location was central and easy for us. I loved getting up, making coffee and sitting with the view in the morning. Kaati made us feel welcome.
It was a great place to serve as our home base and resting location for the annual Volleyball tournament.

Very spacious and lovely rental. Great views of downtown Reno from the great room. We enjoyed 4 days here for a ski trip with our family of 6. Very comfortable evenings spent lounging in the main room and with the giant TV. We appreciated the great communication with Kaati.

Qual Run House was a perfect location for 13 people to celebrate and honor our 97 year old Reiko xoxo. Five of us stayed at the house while others joined us one evening for the celebration. The open floor plan and comfortable furniture were perfect!!! The scenic views of Reno were an additional bonus. This home is centrally located to downtown, the Truckee River, and Rancho San Rafael Park. Thank you Kaati!! You made our stay extremely hassle free. We are so appreciative that Qual Run allows events. We Love this home and I hope we will be celebrating a 98th birthday here next year!!!!!!

My wife and I joined our 3 adult kids for a few days stay here in Reno. We've stayed at a dozen or so VRBO's and this was if not the best, very close to the best. Clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and interesting with a great view. Kaati could not have been better to work with. We had some logistical situations arise and she was very flexible and accommodating. Overall a very positive experience.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful 1970s bohemian house. It easily accommodated our large group and we loved the outdoor patio for dining. The hiking trail nearby was a huge bonus. Kaatie is a lovely host and communicated promptly with our questions. The neighborhood is charming. If we find ourselves in Reno again with our family, we will definitely stay here.

We stayed here for a baseball tournament. It was close to everything. We enjoyed coming to the house and have a nice cooked meal after a day of baseball! The view of the city is amazing. We enjoyed having a nice meal outdoors while the birds chirp! If you come to Reno I recommend you stay here!

That house is the most comfortable, feel wonderful, happy home I think I have ever been in. Every room is spacious, not too much decor, but just enough. We could not have been happier unless there were no mosquitos. But we don't have choices where their concerned. Were booking again next year. Absolutely loved it!

Charlie and I had a wonderful time we went to Reno to visit my grandkids and my son and daughter in law. It was funny because I couldn’t find the TV way. They were just pictures on the wall lol I just hit the remote that I saw in the basket and turned it on button on and it was actually one of the painting on the wall was the tv.
I never saw anything like that before. I would love to have one. Everything was so beautiful and nice. There was no need for anything everything was there are you have to do is go to the grocery store. Again it was a beautiful stay! The host was. awesome!!!

We knew this was a great home from the photos, but nothing could have prepared us for what a spectacular opportunity it was to rent this property from Kaati. Truly a home away from home. I had to keep reminding myself that this wasn’t our home.
Close to groceries and tucked in a wonderful neighborhood. Lots of quails running around!

Was a beautiful home! My biggest complaint is the bathroom showers are not elderly conducive. The shower in the first bathroom has a small opening so you have to go in sideways. In the master bathroom it would be better served to put in a soaking tub and corner shower.
We had an amazing time and enjoyed the roominess.

What a great home! It's so comfortable with its open living and dining room. Ideal for hanging out and catching up with family. The backyard patio is also situated so that conversations can flow. There is plenty comfortable seating areas and the view of the mountains and city is just stunning. This home is meant for togetherness. Our little family just loved it!

This was our first visit to Reno, in town for a wedding, and this house was an excellent base for exploration. The location in the hills above town was perfect - we could quickly get to our adventure destinations and have the house as a retreat to get set for another day. The house is spacious, comfortable, and stylish. We enjoyed sunrise and evening views across town, and had easy access to an interesting trail system. We found a lot to like about Reno, and hope to be back at this house again someday.

The house was very clean and the location for our family was perfect. The views of Reno from the cozy backyard was exceptional. The property had lots of fun games for all ages and room for our party of 16 to celebrate three UNR graduates. It was a memorable weekend. I would recommend all of my friends to stay in your property. Kaati was very responsive to emails and shared her personal contact for anything that may have come up unexpectedly. This was by far the best property we have ever stayed at. We spent most of our time on the back patio enjoying the view of downtown Reno. The home was stunning and we hope to stay there again.

Great house , very clean , great location, the back patio was great with plenty of seating and the little outside fireplace is a nice touch, we sat out there every night. Overall you can not go wrong with this property.

Kaati checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable or needed anything, but not to the point where it felt like she was intruding! There was a severe store that shut down the roads and she was very accommodating with extending our stay. I even left things that she shipped and made sure I received. The house is as described, the view out the back yard was beautiful. Everything worked, we had no issues with anything. She leaves little instructions for you to be able to work everything in the house. Thanks Kaati, we will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay at this clean and quiet roomy home. It was great for our family group, because it’s basically a huge great room/gathering place with rooms off to the side. Every amenity is provided, the views are spectacular and the host is responsive and flexible. While we enjoyed our Winter experience we’d love to return in warmer weather one day. Highly recommend!

Visited mid January with 2 adult children to visit 3rd adult child living in Reno. Large "mid-century modern" home with big city view from great room and master BR. Quiet neighborhood. Close to ditch trail walking path. Host readily accessible. Liked it.
