A very nice and well-maintained place, in a quiet suburb with a large green area. The house is equipped with everything necessary. A big bonus is the travel cot for children and the grill in the yard.
Many thanks for the wonderful stay!

The owner Lynn saved an old treasure. Such a cool piece of history that he has updated and created a comfy place to stay. If we ever need to return to the area, we would certainly stay again.

Beautiful old home with stunning original details still present. Modernized with care and with original craftsmanship still intact.
The grounds were every bit of impressive. Expansive and lovely. Still delivers that old school charm. A picture of times long gone.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Well worth it!

My husband, sixteen year old son, and I had a wonderful stay at the Reuben Dimond House. It was an ideal spot to complete our tour through New Hampshire. Mr. Lynn Woodard was the perfect host who painstakingly renovated this charming property. There was so much attention to detail. The coffee bar was a perfect touch! It was wonderful to feel secluded, but was centrally located to many activities. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that there was a hiking trail right on the property. There is no doubt that we will recommend this house to anyone who is looking to stay in the area. Thank you again, Lynn!

Great property away from everything, old world 250+year old home, loved the historic feature and energy.
We would stay here again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Reuben Dimond house. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer.
The view from the backyard is spectacular! I hope to return this fall!

Great property, they thought of everything and the price was appropriate. It was also an interesting house built in the 1700s with a bunch of History to it. Good location near Concord. In the last couple of years I've stayed at 10 properties and this one is either number one or number two

This is one of the coolest hones in all NH with history dating back to the Revolutionary War. The hosts are the best, very accomidating and welcoming. I appreciate them opening up their beautiful home to me and my friends.

Very charming and comfortable historic farmhouse in a quiet and tranquil part of town. A unique and memorable experience in a lovingly restored and maintained property cared for by a responsive and helpful host.

Our family had a great time at the beautiful property. The yard was magnificent and even had porcupines roaming about. The renovation was beautiful and everything was well maintained

I enjoyed my stay at this beautiful little house which dates back to the 18th century. My hosts were there to greet me when I arrived. The home is comfortable, cozy, and in a very quiet neighborhood - far out enough in the country that you can see all the stars at night, yet just a ten-minute drive to downtown Concord. It’s also a convenient site from which to explore other New Hampshire locations. It was too hot during my stay to make use of the spacious grounds, but they would be quite inviting in more pleasant weather. But I did a morning hike taking the trailhead right across the street. I’d definitely stay here again if I ever return to this area.

The property was absolutely lovely! The owner did a beautiful job on the renovations, creating a modern but old-charm feel, with some original features. Top-notch linens, comfortable furniture, spacious bathroom, and the kitchen had all we needed! Grounds were also very pretty, and Concord is a wonderful little city!

Historic farm home in a pastoral setting next to a hiking trail and Concord. We used it as home base for day trips to VT, ME, MA, NH destinations.

Just as described, the beautiful restoration was secluded and quiet and close to Concord and Contoocook. We stocked up on local farm goods at the nearby Dimond Hill Farm. The house was well stocked in linens and the kitchen, and activity shed. We even had a cute baby porcupine grazing nearby as we had some morning coffee by the fire pit.

Lynn has done a fantastic job renovating an old house into a comfortable home - there are books documenting the process. The bathroom and appliances are all new. It's just comfortable living in a secluded area, but only minutes to downtown Concord. Will definitely stay again next time We're in the area.

Our family had a busy weekend scheduled for our daughter’s softball tournament in Concord, and wanted a quiet place to rest and recharge in between games. This place exceeded our expectations - I wish we’d had more time to spend at the property, it was beautiful and super quiet. We would definitely stay here again.

Staying at the Reuben Diamond house was a perfect choice for our trip to New Hampshire. The house perfectly captured the essence of New England and all it had to offer. The combination of it’s historic charm and modern comfort is tough to achieve, but our host did it perfectly! Beds were very comfortable, place was absolutely spotless, and the grounds made for a beautiful, quiet getaway. 5 stars all around.

We loved our stay at the Reuben Diamond House! The host, Lynn, has done a beautiful job restoring this treasure of a property. We had everything we needed for a cozy weekend away with family. Lynn's communication and responsiveness was excellent. Property was accurately listed and impeccably clean. Thanks for the stay; we hope to return!

We had the most wonderful Christmas in this historic home. Everything was perfect and the host thought of everything we might need. The location was secluded, but not too far away from the city. Loved the nature trails and the beautiful landscape surrounding the home. It was the perfect reconnect for our family. The biggest plus was the distance - everything was just about an hour away - coast, mountains, Vermont, Boston - LOVED IT - it was the perfect hub.

We really did feel comfortable in this old house. My little one was very scared of the 2 pictures in the living room, but I loved them. The quietness was amazing, it’s winter so not much in the yard to do during this time. The only thing I would change are the beds. The beds are very small here, my husband is 6’4 and had to sleep diagonally, so if your tall it will be uncomfortable. The owner was so nice and I hope they keep renting it, because the house can be an amazing little gem here in New Hampshire. Just need to get a few big garbage cans, the little ones were hard to deal with. The towels in the bathroom were amazing, love the big comfy towels. The tea kettle was perfect, and the kids plates and utensils were perfect. You will enjoy your stay and be in awwww of the classic new feel plus the old feel and charm of this very old home. If you go in the winter, the house heating system is the best I’ve ever used in any home. When you walk into the house it’s amazing, it’s the original part of the house and I loved that. I’m so blessed to get to stay here and that I found this place. It was truly and experience for the 3 of us Thank you!

What a beautiful property! The location was perfect: close to Concord but in a lovely rural, secluded setting. Lynn has loving restored and improved the house. It was a relaxing stay and Lynn was very accommodating and helpful. Hope to return and explore the area more in the future. Thank you, Lynn.

The owner has put lots of work in to make this homey with modern amenities for the kitchen and bath while keeping the charm of the historic aspects of the rest of the house. Comfortable bedrooms and cozy living areas which keep the feel of a historic home. The property is quite picturesque with a large area to spend time in during the day. A very friendly welcome to the property as well. I’d recommend anyone staying here who wants more than the standard vacation experience.

This was our family’s first trip to New England and we used this home as a central hub to visit stops in Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and, of course, New Hampshire. It was a perfect location to make easy day trips for all of these states!
The house itself was also perfect. The renovations that Lynn has done make it a perfect mixture of modern conveniences and the colonial charm that we had hoped for in this location. The property was huge and provided a great space for the family to run and play in our down time.
I highly recommend this property!

This farmhouse was the perfect getaway spot even on a weekend of rain. They have thought of EVERY detail including a comfortable mattress, big fluffy towels, a full coffee bar, and good smelling soap! The renovations to the property were so well done and it was fun to see the before/after books.
We enjoyed the time we spent in the farmhouse and the drive into town was short and full of views as well.
We have stayed in a ton of vacation houses and this one was above and beyond the rest with the attention to detail/comforts provided. Would recommend again and again and hoping we will make our way back in the future!
Thank you so much!

We were greeted by Lynn, who graciously walked us through the house, sharing the history and his recent renovation updates. The property is beautiful and the home is peaceful and relaxing. I only wish I had more time to stay.
Perhaps, I'll be back one day.
Lynn, thank you for sharing space with us.

Husband and I stayed at the renovated farmhouse and loved it. Clean, private, comfortable beds, great water pressure in shower. Beautifully renovated. Decorated well and very very spacious farmhouse. We used it as a base to visit places in New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and Connecticut.

A great old house nicely refurbished while retaining a lot of the original features. Location is amazing, quite secluded yet only 10 minutes from downtown. We loved it!

This old farmhouse, at the end of a country lane, is located about 10 minutes from downtown Concord NH. It has been lovingly restored with all modern furnishings and appliances, but retains much of the character of the old structure. We stayed four nights which allowed us to explore nearly every direction of the compass. Local roads are such that you can choose to travel interstate highways, or take a leisurely drive in the country. Two bedrooms and a large, well equipped kitchen, make this a great place for an extended stay.

As a solo traveler seeking a quiet setting 'off the beaten track,' I booked this farmhouse expecting a restful but rustic experience. Yes, it's located at the end of a rural, woodsy road that gets very dark at night, but on the inside it's loaded with amenities—not least the sparkling kitchen and bath—to match any high-end country cottage. I enjoyed my stay so much, I only wish I'd brought a friend to share it with. It would be an ideal getaway for a small family. Highly recommended.

This property manages to be both updated and historical at the same time. We found it to be a very relaxing sanctuary during an otherwise stressful trip. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This home was absolutely amazing! Lyn spent four years pouring his blood, sweet and tears into renovating this amazing home that was built in 1764. He kept many cool details of the home and added amazing and modern amenities. Everything was very well thought out and the home and grounds extremely clean and comfortable. We cooked a few meals and he has everything there for us. I rarely give a 5 star review but this home deserved it!
