Recently refurbished and nice areas in the main hotel

My room was very poor, dated and a long black hair in the bath made me question the housekeeping. Decor was damaged, wall part painted and just generally in need of refurbishing

Staff very helpful and breakfast was great. It'll be a really nice place when it's finished

Bit noisy outside, lots of finishing details around the hotel are not complete such as doors and doorframes. Bathroom finished to a basic standard.

The location was very good, and both the evening meal and the breakfast were incredibly good and the chef should be complimented

The bed was only a three quarter bed, not the best and most comfortable

Shower did not work Fridge did not work Cooked breakfast was disappointing Breakfast experience was strange

The staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of free parking. Bed was pretty good.

Lots of small things make the hotel look tired and out of date; tiles in shower ungrouted and with gaps, random mixture of old and new cheap bedroom furniture, huge gaps under doors and around bathroom fixtures, old creaking pipes etc etc. A long list - an old building in need of a lot of investment that it’s clearly not getting.

Manny, the Manager, couldn't do enough for us. All of the staff were so helpful...It's a new refurbishment and you can tell everyone there wants it to work. So do I. I wish them all well and will definitely be back.

Manny, the Manager is keen to learn from his guests and asks and listens to any guest feedback.

Great breakfast, lovely location and wonderful staff. For a new opening, they did everything they could to make sure it was a good stay. Fast responses too
