I came into town for a concert and my daughters and I stayed at the Double Tree in Colorado Springs. The hotel staff was very friendly at check in and check out. The complimentary cookies were very nice. The lobby was gorgeous. Our rooms were very clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This was a nice hotel with all the amenities. However, I was really impressed with the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming.

The hotel manager was one of the best hotel staff members I have ever met! Although I do not recall his name, I will say that the customer service he provided, from the initial greeting to the genuine way he tried to ensure I had a pleasant stay is commendable! He deserves to be recognized for his stellar service and professionalism.

We attended an event at the World Arena. Location of the hotel was convenient and we loved the huge bar downstairs!

It was good, nothing special. We only stayed one night and it accommodated our needs. I would suggest putting luggage carts at each entrance. We had to make a couple trips from our car to the room as there were no carts available. Other than that, everything was okay.

First, don’t let these photos fool you. While the entrance when you first come in looks nice/recently renovated the back of the hotel with the rooms has not been and smells stale. The outside looks like some cheap hotel. When we walked into our room the AC was set on 60 and it was rather warm inside. My partner and I reported this to the office and the engineer said the entire building was out? After looking at the reviews it seems to have been an issue for guests the night before, and I’m not sure how they went all day without fixing this issue before 8:30pm. We had an early morning and needed to go to bed so we requested a refund so we could stay else were. The front desk worker allowed it after going back and forth for a minute. The pictures of the building in the photos does not look like this property. Overall not an awful place but for the price you pay I expect a better quality hotel.

I accidentally booked an “accessible” room which means the closet is short, the shower has no tub (water just spills out to the rest of the bathroom floor),etc. the receptionist said there were no other rooms we could switch to. Not the best experience but not terrible.

I liked everything until it was time to sleep. My ac did not cool enough to my liking even though I set the temp to 60°. I was too tired to complain so I just dealt with it. The property grounds were nice and quiet with plenty of comfortable patio chairs. Pool was good and the hot tub was plenty hot perfect for relaxing. Overall I would recommend and I will definitely be returning.

Apparently Hilton is struggling financially as they have help facilitate a fraud claiming that I booked once in January (which I did with Bookkng.com) and then booked two more rooms in July (?) through Expedia.com ! So I was charged for my only room I stayed in and twice more for two rooms I didn’t use. Your choice but next time I’m booking with someone else. 😕 It’s called fraud !

The staff was awesome but noticed that the amount of the charges on my credit card was more than the receipts shown. Tried to get a refund as I had my receipts but to no avail. Will never use Expedia nor Holiday Inn!!!!!

This listing was a complete dupe. The rooms are old and stink. The hallways are unsafe with loose carpet, so much so my husband tripped and was injured. 1/10 staff members were friendly’ish. They advertise breakfast then charge for it and it’s no better than a low grade hotel breakfast. Old facilities except the lobby which is what they highlight because it’s been redone. Sketchy people in the parking lot.

This property is beside the interstate, and it’s very noisy outside. There are unhoused people begging for money at the stoplight outside the hotel. Not a place we would feel safe walking. The outside looks like a dump, but the inside was surprisingly updated, modern, and clean. There is a huge bar, a restaurant, and a Starbucks inside. While the lobby was great, the rooms were not as impressive. The beds were the most uncomfortable, lumpy, sagging beds I’ve ever slept in. Our toilet was broken, and we had to use water from the sink to make it flush. Unacceptable. The televisions would not change to the channel that you selected. Finally, our entire family woke up with horrible headaches. You need to make sure room 348 has no carbon monoxide leak. We will never stay here again because we feel it is unsafe.
