When I checked out there was no mention of any additional charge. When I got home my credit card had been charged. I contacted their customer service to ask what this related to. Got an email confirming they had received my query and they would respond in 7 days. I emailed them 3 more times. They never replied. They never told me why they took my money without my consent. They never returned my money. This is extremely dishonest.

I spent one full week here at Wyndham hotel, well what to say… the position in Kalamis Marina it’s just perfect, you can have beautiful walks by the sea and reach easily the famous Bagdad street… the room in front of the sea was super … at breakfast you have a great choices on buffet… and the best part of the hotel are the people! Everybody from reception, to bar, restaurants and all are sooo professional, so helpful and very very friendly!! 🔝 hotel

The street is very noisy and we knew it before so we stayed on the sea side so our baby can sleep and it was very quiet. The beds are comfy. The AC works fine. But the bathrooms are not clean at all. We stayed here in 2013 and everything looks old and dirty now.

I was assigned to room 135, which unfortunately was located directly above a live music bar/pub. Upon checking in at around 12:30 am, I inquired about the loud music and was informed that it would cease within 15-20 minutes. However, the music continued for approximately 2 hours, preventing me from getting any sleep. To make matters worse, there were preparations happening early in the morning across from our room, presumably for a wedding. This was my second stay at this hotel. As a frequent traveler for work, I prioritize having a comfortable sleep, which unfortunately hasn't been possible during my last two visits to this hotel. Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed

Worst hotel I’ve stayed at. Room service was terrible, no microwave at property anywhere in the hotel, small rooms, room service would bring wrong meals each time and the food was disgusting.

Stayed here while I was getting married in Istanbul. Breakfast options could be better! It was actually not worth it despite plenty of things - they just weren’t very good on that. The rooms were a bit smaller than I had imagined. But otherwise well assigned. Staff were very helpful especially when I needed help finding certain services, none of it came to fruition but they tried and I appreciated that. The guys near the pool area were a bit strange and not friendly - I had my wedding guests in the same hotel and they were a bit snobby to them. On the whole it was a pleasant experience, a business hotel than one for leisure and the front desk / concierge room were lovely.

The staff and service were super friendly and wonderful. They are best part of the hotel experience. The music at the roof top bar went on until 2 and 3 am whole week so maybe turn down the music so hotel guests can sleep.

Eyub at the concierge desk was an incredible asset and a huge help to our stay. All of the staff were warm, welcoming, and helpful. Convenient walk to the Marmaray station for broader access, and plenty of good places to eat nearby. We will gladly stay here again when in Istanbul!

This hotel is my first choice every time I come to Istanbul. Upon checking in i was asked to pay a fee of 850 lira as a new check in fee. I wasnt told upon making the reservation. It was quite a shock.

On a major street with heavy traffic and noise day and night, ask for rooms facing the sea. Rooms are max 17-18 m2 and cramped. Though expensive, breakfast is poor with limited choice, breakfast personnel, tables and decor, cutlery and crockery more like in a company cafeteria rather than a 5 star hotel. There is a place near the hotel that serves authentic Turkish b-fast. Go there. Cleaning personnel roaming corridors is not Turkish and by an outside contractor (uniforms showed contractor's logo). Price to quality not worth the money. Bitter experience on last day: after we checked out and left, we got charged with 58 USD worth of minibar items that we did NOT take. We called reception to understand why this charge, after they had already checked room and told us all was in order. Person at reception spoke broken English, could not explain much. Apparently no one else at reception spoke English either. We asked for an email that explained this charge. Never received it. In fact, we had to write to the hotel to get our bill (in which they had added the 58 USD minibar charges). Our mistake: We did not ask for a printed copy of the bill at check out (we expected it by email). Recommendation: Always check and close your bill at check out and ask for a final print out.

It was a beautiful hotel and everyone there was so pleasant and helpful. I loved that it was a little away from all the landmarks. It was a quiet neighborhood with lots of very nice restaurants and great for walking around. We felt very safe and loved every minute of our stay.
