Hotel location was convenient and accessible - so close to CIQ, malls and eating places. Decor looks relatively new and modern. The only thing about the hotel I didn’t like was the lifts from the ground floor do not lead to the guest rooms. You will need to transfer to another set of lifts from the lobby on the 8th floor. This I feel wasn’t convenient if you are traveling with young kids and have to carry lots of kids essentials or traveling with elderly parents The ground floor also do not have a porter to help with loading/unloading the guests’ luggages/ shopping bags from ride hailing cars/ taxis. There wasn’t a sign to indicate upon arrival that the lobby was on 8th floor, thankfully a kind guest informed me of the location. My hunble suggestion - the hotel should have a Conceirge desk to help with directions and infos and luggage storing room at the ground floor., so guests could continue shopping and dining in the vicinity upon checkout and not having to go up again to the the 8th floor to collect their luggages. I was lucky to have a kind staff (I think his name is Shafiq) assist me with my 4 large shopping bags and luggages from the 8th floor to the ground floor. Overall a pleasant stay.

Lovely one-night stay. Comfortable bed. Delicious food @in-room dining. Reception staff efficient & courteous. Breakfast not too bad although my omelette order did not arrive (despite having what I thought is a great system of order which reduces queue & time) - gave up after 30 minutes.

Everything ok except 2 issues: only 1 available lift from ground floor to the lobby and its always crowded. The other lifts out of irder. The other issue : the arrival swamp of wasps at the swimming pool that make it unsafe.

Convenient location for staycation with malls right next to hotel. Easy to travel around using grab. Our room was comfortable. They provide so called soft and hard pillows but hard pillows are still soft.

1st time staying at Holiday Inn JB City Center. As it rained so much during our stay, we can easily cross over to the malls for our meals.
The only thing is we can hear the water sound when someone is showering. Nevertheless, we would gladly stay here again.

Repeated stay. Convenience of the location is a big plus. Staff could be more welcoming than just be functional. Clean premises but hope maintenence of the property can be better. Toilet seat misaligned should have been highlighted by housekeeping staff to repair personnel rather than hand the room to next guests status quo.

Big room and spaciuos. Love the toilet wit big mirror and inside the room too. Swimming pool also great at highest floor. Breakfast is good too.
Walkable to our fav mall. Komtar jbcc and citysquare.
Parking too. Great experience for 1st time staying in this hotel. Will recomended to family and friends and love to come back again. Thankyou.

I used to stay at Holiday Inn at various locations. All my previous stay were always satisfactory. I have also booked Holiday Inn Times Square, NYC in Sep 2024.
The Holiday Inn City Center JB conditions looks new to me. Check-in and check-out was smooth. However, this time round we were disappointed on the bed fitting and the shower robe towel. At 11:30pm, we noticed that the shower robe towel was not cleaned and it looked like someone has used it before and not washed. When we were about to get into the bed, We noticed that all the pillows, bedsheet have a oily smell. It is obvious that the pillow case and the bedsheet were not changed. We called front desk and they sent the staff to get them changed within reasonable time. I should say the service and response time to rectify the issue is acceptable. However, this incidents should not have happened in the first place. We are disappointed as we trusted the name Holiday Inn that we have great experience in the past. That is also the reason that I always book my hotels with Holiday Inn. I hope this is a one time incident as I will be staying at Holiday Inn in Phoenix, US and also in NYC in Sep 2024.
