Miserable first impression from the receptionist who never smiled, didn't say hello or a please/thank you. Reception had rap music playing with offensive swear words - not ideal when checking in with a child. Room was comfortable and clean. Air conditioning was a god-send!

The hotel was fine, slept well (bed great) and the evening bar staff were fun. Our Check-In could have been more friendly, but we were eventually allowed in at 13.00 as opposed to the stated 14.00. Don’t like the Deposit starting against my account as “Pending” fro a week after we departed, couldn’t it be cleared on Departure? Otherwise happy stay @ Hotel Kyriad Marseille Palais Des Congres - Vélodrome.

Ongoing renovation at the time we visited, but looks to become really nice when done. Welcoming and friendly staff. Stayed only one night. Clean room, nice and cool with air conditioning.

I don’t know how the evaluations are made to classify the accommodations.
No one has certainly attended this accommodation to give 3 stars!!! Wooden walls, poorly trained employees, poor service. Not even 1 star deserves.

Everything was good, only the room is little bit too small to move the chair and you might hear cars from the road, but overall good experience. If you don't mind walking for 40 mins, you can get to city center. Currently, you can get takeaway breakfast to your room because of covid. Breakfast: baguette, jam, butter, small sweet pastry and drink of your choice.

Blocked 2 of my partners card by trying to authorise a payment for a deposit. This deposit Is not even stated before booking your hotel. You have to pay 100€ upon arrival as guarantee which is so stupid. First card payment was attempted 3x because apparently it was declining, my partner called his bank and 300€ was taken out of the card And his second card €100 was taken out as he attempted it once. Very unhappy with this service.

Enjoyed staying there more then some other hotels in Marseille with higher prices. Particularly enjoyed watching a large TV with additional sports channels which are not available in many other hotels.

Hotel is really calm, the room was clean & comfortable. Access was easy, even with big luggages (ramp for people with disablilities, lift).
All commodities are really present : air conditionner, good bed, free wifi, tv, kettle with dehydrated coffee, tea and biscuits refilled everyday in the room.
Also, good breakfasts for all tastes & apetites (limitless) !
Staff was also really welcoming & friendly.
No need to book for car parking as there is a lot of available space just few steps away.
Even if prices seem reasonable, I didn't take lunch nor diner there as center of city propose better options.

The staff are friendly and the room was clean. The parking was private and only 6 Euro per night. Although not much is around the hotel, since we were driving it was not a problem. The Predo beach was only a few minutes driving, and it was huge. Access to the highway was very easy too.

Long walk from and to the metro (Rond-Point du Prado) but doable if luggage is light and you enjoy walking. Staff was helpful with directions to Vieux Port, which is beautiful, interesting, and requires only your curiosity to enjoy it. Grocery store on route to the hotel if you like.

Since the hotel has just been refurbished, everything is new, working well and comfortable. The furniture and amenities are relatively simple - this is a three star hotel - but adequate and in excellent condition. The staff is quite competent and friendly. Both the check-in and check-out procedures were smooth and quick. The breakfast was ample and of good quality, in a spacious restaurant room. For a hotel which is not located in the most convenient, although safe, location, it offers a good price/quality ratio.
The only drawback is the hotel location but it is not a problem for those who drive. The hotel has a convenient, safe and inexpensive garage. I will come back there whenever I return to Marseille.
