The room we stayed in was aesthetically perfect, no detail was overlooked, so big and comfortable!. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, the breakfast was great. We travelled from here to the Hyatt in Sanur, which is a beautiful old property, but it felt like a step down after the wonderful experience at JEstate. Really top marks all round, the owner Andre is an experienced hotelier and it definitely shows

everything was absolutely perfect. the staff is really helpfull and friendly, also the host of the hotel are really friendly, gave us so much tips to do in Uluwatu and around ! breakfast was perfect and pool was amazing! i wish we came back one day !

each pavilion feels so private you feel straight at home. the staff is really attentive but also making sure you have your privacy. they are open to feedbacks and are great on local recommendations. true gem

Basically everything is perfect! This is my last hotel in Bali, after changed 4 hotels during 3 weeks. And this is my favourite one! The location is very convenient to Jimbaran Beach, like 5-8 mins by walk, but I prefer stay longer in the hotel garden or relax by the pool rather than go to the beach, away more cozy and relaxing! Also only 10-15mins to the airport by car. I like the design of the room, you can feel the quality of the hotel from every single detail. It’s such a good combination of modern and natural, feel very comfortable to read and do yoga there. What’s more amazing is that I was surrounded by the super warm and friendly staffs and owner from beginning to the end. They are always very helpful and patient. The breakfast was very impressive, I felt a bit sick on the day before arrived there, but the lovely homemade breakfast saved me. It’s definitely great experience for me, and worth to stay! Strongly recommend!

This one of few hotels which I undoubtedly recommend. Spacious lodging, relaxing atmosphere, mixture of a tropical garden and high quality facilities. This is a very quiet and cozy place despite the busy street nearby. Beach and seafood restaurants in 10 minutes walk, although hotel was so nice so we chose to stay in hotel’s pool for a couple of days instead of going to the beach). Many thanks to the people of JEstate who made our stay unforgettable. They were friendly, always smiling, extremely helpful, attentive and very responsive.

Our stay at JEstate was a fantastic. The room/villa was very tastefully desgined and made us feel as if we had arrived in a tropical paradise. The breakfast was exceptional as well as were the staff. I highly recommend JEstate.

The breakfast is abundant! Tourist could choose 3+ types of meal. The amount of breakfast is plenty enough to be brunch. The staffs are friendly and explain some culture and history of Bali. Nice terrance and swimming pool. If many mosquitoes was noted in terrance, tourists could ask for some repellent.

The air conditioner is relatively weak to the room size.

We especially liked the beautiful and private bungalow villas constructed in the Indonesian style. Its surrounded by bamboo/mangrove vegetation that really makes you forget you are actually in a very busy area of Kuta Bali. Furthermore extremely helpful and attentive staff. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the patio of the villa. Beautifully made eggs Benedict. Very much recommended!

The breakfast at this hotel was absolutely incredible, it really made up for the poor experience we had in another hotel. We were able to choose from European and Balinese specials and they were accommodating when we wanted to make small changes. We were lucky to be among the only guests, so it felt like personalised service, but the staff all went out of their way to ask us about our day and activities and ensure we were happy and comfortable. I can't praise them enough - we felt like total VIPs and enjoyed their warm, friendly hospitality. They were easy going about things like late checkout, issues with cards not going through first time, and providing scooter rental etc. - everything was a breeze.

Nothing is needed to improve this residence - with the possible exception of the entrance / street location. This is obviously not their fault and not something JEstates can help, but pulling out or crossing the street at the hotel entrance is challenging because it is straight on to a busy two lane highway. Nervous travellers/riders might benefit from a hotel operative escorting them into the lanes as some petrol stations etc. do.

its so nice that you dont want to go outside. Manager was so nice that after hearing that it was our last night in Bali upgraded our “room” to private villa with pool and garden.

I really loved the villa and the villa complex - the private space, quiet, paddle pool, well maintained gardern and greenery. It helped me unwind and relax. I went out for exercise, to explore, to eat.

Lovely aesthetic to the property, we very kindly got upgraded for our stay, so also had our own private pool which was amazing! The bed was also very comfortable and the bath was very impressive! The staff were also very kind and eager to help at any moment.

The property still has a few teething problems after only just recently opening. We got locked out of our villa one night and then when we were leaving for our flight we got stuck and locked in the villa, the internal phones had also stopped working so we couldn’t contact anyone to help which was very frustrating… luckily I contacted them through booking.com to help get us out - they then waived the charge of the previous mornings muesli to apologise. The toilet also was leaking - however they did fix this immediately and to fill the bath up would have taken hours due to the poor water pressure. There was also no hot water. For the price point we paid we were not expecting there to be as many issues and it would have been nice to have had the option to order drinks / cocktails / snacks throughout the day not just breakfast.
