Hotellin sijainti oli loistava, sillä se sijaitsee Ocean Drivellä ja rannallekin on lyhyt kävelymatka. Meillä ei ollut ikkunoita Ocean Driven suuntaan, joten huoneeseen ei juuri kuulunut meteliä sieltä. Lentokenttäbussi nro 150 tuli parinsadan metrin päähän. Hotellin sisustus on kaunis. Sänky oli mukava. Huoneen hintaan kuuluu rantatuolit ja -pyyhkeet (aurinkovarjo lisämaksusta). Vesipullot olivat huoneessa vain tulopäivänä. Huoneessa oli minijääkaappi. Ilmastointi ja ilmainen wifi toimivat hyvin. Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä.

Hotellin hissi on todella vanha ja menikin epäkuntoon viikon aikana (aiheuttaen ensin aamuyöllä palohälytyksen!). Puinen portaikko on ahdas, pimeä ja jyrkkä. Naapurihuoneen ja käytävän äänet kuuluivat todella selvästi huoneeseemme. Kylpyhuoneessa on vain kattosuihku, käsisuihku olisi hyvä lisä. Hotellin tarjoamat shampoot ja saippuat olivat pienet tuubit, joiden auki näprääminen oli ärsyttävää ja ne riittivät usein vain yhteen pesuun kerrallaan. Pyyhkeet näyttivät tahraisilta. Kylpyhuoneen lattialaatat olivat melko huonossa kunnossa, saumat repsottaa jne. Aamupala kuuluu huoneen hintaan ja sisälsi neljä vaihtoehtoa, joista piti valita. Annos pieni, mutta välttävä.

Great location

We were given a tiny size room on the first floor. The room did not have a window and it was next to a storage place. The first floor was extremely loud. We asked for a different room and they gave us a small room on the second floor. Pictures look deceiving. For a price paid, we could have gone somewhere else.

Charming little hotel. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much. We arrived early and they stored our bags and rushed to get a room ready for us. Fantastic location inside a gorgeous art deco building.

We were on the first (ground) floor and the hallway was a little noisy at night, so I would recommend a higher floor for lighter sleepers.

Our stay at the Cavalier Beach Hotel for 3 days was absolutely delightful! The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us. They even provided beach chairs and towels. The breakfast had a variety of options, all of which were delicious. Additionally, they offered a 10% discount at the hotel's restaurant and bar. Overall, it was a fantastic experience with excellent value for money.

One drawback of the room was the lack of shower doors, causing water splashing on the floor. Additionally, the room itself was not very spacious, although it wasn't a significant concern for us as we didn't spend much time in the room anyway.

Location: Excellent location. You can reach the beach within 2-5 minutes of walking. Beach: It was nice that the hotel price includes beach towels and sunbeds. I would advise to also rent/get an umbrella as the hot sun will burn your skin. Also, make sure the beach towels you are given are clean.

Room: (1) Upon arrival, we were placed in a room on the first floor. The room was very noisy. There were people talking loudly in the corridor and you could hear them loud and clear, kids running on the corridor, while the air conditioner was also noisy. I mentioned these issues and we were moved to a room on the second floor in the next day. (2) The room had no place to place your luggage on. (3) The corridors were chilling cold. Service: (1) There are some stairs to get to the hotel and also from the reception to the first floor. There is also no elevator that helps you to skip these stairs. The service never helped us get our luggage to the reception or to the room. They could clearly see that we have two big suitcases and two small ones but they did not lift a finger. They were standing up in front of us talking to each other while we were trying to make our way in between them. When I asked them if there is someone that can help us with the luggage, they said "no". (2) The hotel has no dedicated room to keep your luggage if you have to switch rooms. They kept our luggage in a space near the reception. I believe that someone could have easily stolen it - especially given how unattending the staff seemed. (3) I called the reception and the receptionist had the phone on mute while eating his dinner in the corner. I confirmed I was using the correct way to call the reception and the receptionist saw that he had missed calls after I told him. Terrible service. It's a shame because two other receptionists - a lady and a younger man - were trying to be helpful. Amenities: The beach towels we were given were not clean and I asked for others that were. Breakfast: The breakfast is not good, I would advise not paying for it. You are given an option between (1) eggs, (2) vegan eggs, (3) yoghurt, and (4) pancakes. I think you are better off grabbing breakfast outside.

Comfy enough for 4 people although the beds were a little small. Clean and a great location.

Didn't stop for breakfast due to other plans but the restaurant area is tiny.

Checked in was early and had to wait till room was finished which didn’t mind.not enough light in the room.not enough sockets to do your hair and no mirrors at all only one little shaving mirror in bathroom.nothing for the woman to sit and do makeup or hair drying,Breakfast was poor.no juice served, One choice from four.the breakfast was very cheap produce. Shower tiles broken,phone didn’t work,and the conditioning system non existent. Was given a car park to look at through the window. I didn’t like that I wasn’t told that you have to pay 200 dollars deposit soon as you check in for breakages or damage. It says nothing on the website details or confirmation letters.

- All staff (except the lady on night shift in front desk) were helpful and friendly. That's the main positive feedback about this hotel. - Location is good. It's located directly Ocean Dr. and you could reach all main attractions by walk. - Breakfast was better than some other hotels.

- We had to change our room twice. There was an old elevator in the hotel. Our first room was located next to it and elevator makes a lot of noise. You can hear all the noise in the room. Then we changed to another room, which the air condition was leaking from the ceiling. They could not fix it. - All areas in the hotel were ice cold. Air condition was running 24/7 with minimum temperature. - You could not open the windows in the rooms. Some of the rooms have small window in the WC and that's it. No air circulation, no fresh air. Only air condition running in minimum temperature. - Shower had almost no door or window to close to prevent spreading water around. So the bathroom's floor went wet after every shower.

location was amazing, it’s literally in front of the beach and we didn’t even know hotel was giving chairs on the beach. they even offered beach towels, great service, friendly staff and very kind.

It's a little gem in the heart of Miami Bach! It's unique in style, great location, friendly staff and so art deco'! we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back again! It's an amazing boutique hotel!

great place, good location and beach access

I have no idea why they play music in the lobby until 4am in the morning - it was like some sort interrogation torture - we were in room 103 which was close to the lobby - kept hearing music…. ear plugs in, musics stops, ear plugs out, then in starts again ….. I got told I should I called receptionist. At the early hours of the morning, I had no idea where the music was coming from, and I don’t think it’s my job manage your business. If I stay there again - first conversation will be - turn the music off!!!!

Fantastic location on Ocean Drive. Room was comfortable and clean. Nice breakfast although if you have any allergies make sure you tell the staff. Staff were nice.

Check resort fees. Includes a chair for the beach, but not an umbrella, which was $20.

The staff at the hotel were so pleasant and helpful especially Nerrine and Eduardo ....thank you all !! Part of Ocean Drive is closed to traffic however there is an access street very near the hotel (short 2 building walk) and the hotel andrestaurant staff are very helpful at opening the door and assisting with luggage which was much appreciated !

Location is great, close to bus stop, beach, tons of restaurants Guys at reception were extremely helpful, especially Nasreen and Eduardo. Nice that they have place on the beach and free sun beds

1. Pillows -- the pillow was all lumps, it was impossible to sleepю 2. Bathroom -- not enough hooks for all the towels and your clothes. You simply don't know where to hang your towels, especially if 1+ people in the room 3. The Glass screen in the shower is not enough wide, as a result, every time you take a shower, half of your bathroom is filled with water and you have no idea how to clean it. 4. I think lots of people wrote about the breakfast, I am no exception - it is simply poor, everyday the same and portions are extremely small. If you want a better one (which they have), you have to pay extra.
