Location.... interior of lobby.

Dust on phone,clock carpet seem not washed from long time and tiny bugs or something we're there near coffee maker. Layout of toilet and Washbasin very very uncomfortable.

The location was perfect. It was easy walking distance to everything on South Beach. The room size was very comparable to most rooms that we've stayed at in the past on South Beach. The location is in the heart of South Beach which made walking, running, and beach time amazing.

During out stay the only elevator in the building was not operable, Because you are staying at the beach, enjoying night life, and tasting all the flavors of Miami, you are going back to your room quite often. So the constant travel up and down the small staircase was quite a nuisance.

I am a front Desk Agent in Nyc in Times Square. I was embarrassed Staying at Winter Haven the room was Filthy. I cringed sleeping there. I later moved to the Catalina and much to my surprise the rooms wee clean and efficient. Years ago over 15 I stayed at winter Haven there was a Manger there named Mark he was lovely. I cant believe how much the property has gone down Hill. I would never ever stay in your Property again. There was dust coming from the bed. The ceiling was leaking on my head while trying to do my makeup. It was insane!!!!!! The Staff was" lovely especially the bell man" & front Desk Agents!!!!. The rooms are terribly!!!!!!!! "outdated with old school wood desks". Very Shocking to say the least!!!!. I will absolutely not be returning. The rooms need Major Major Makeovers. Front Desk Agent New York , Ny

Location is prime, unparalleled for south beach

Amenities and size of room are disappointing

This is a Marriot owned small hotel on South Beach. I enjoyed the retro feel and look. I enjoyed being in that location on South Beach.

The original room had something wet on the floor (carpet) and had to move rooms. The replacement room was a double and the worst room in hotel. I was not happy about that.

Absolute waste of money, completely disaster for such a high price! Dirty place. Room with ocean partial view.. do you know, why is it partial? Because window is so dirty, you can barely recognize the ocean! Dirty (did I already use this word?) bedding lie about on the floor, in the corridor (no kidding, photo attached). No room cleaning during stay (3 nights). PS: do not order cappuccino in the hotel restoran. You would get something but cappuccino PPS: spent another 2 nights in much-much cheaper hotel, in Hollywood (10 miles away from Miami beach I guess), and it happened to be really better place, comparing to this one.

Lots of character and the hotel staff were good.

The restaurant was poor. Load Latino music. Does not go with the property. Menu is not Latino yet the music was. I was confused - what is the concept? Also the staff are young and poorly trained. Miserable too. Not friendly at all.

The location is everything! Walking distance to everything you’ll need. Steps from the beach and all of the restaurants on ocean drive. The free bottle of water from the front desk was so convenient. The roof is open with lounge chairs and tables. The roof was my favorite part of the hotel!

I didn’t like the window view but I can’t complain since I didn’t pay for an ocean view.

LOCATION IS RIGHT IN THE PARTY ACTION STAFF OMG SO FRIENDLY KIND AND ALWAYS AVAILABLE SHOUT TO CHRIS HE WAS AMAZING FOOD AND DRINKS AMAZING BEACH RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET ROOF TOP LOUNGE AMAZING WILL BE RETURNING
