Rooms were very Spartan. Basically, a bed, a nightstand, and a wall mounted TV. Nothing else. Tv was mounted to the wall on the side of the bed making it uncomfortable to watch.

Comfortable room, but need to add a table or chairs. No where to sit in the room.

No parkingI thought it was a law or ordinance that you have parking to match number of rooms that were rented. Had to park in towaway zone until 8:00 am and guard car until check out. When they say limited parking that means NO parking for stay.

This value hotel is quaint, comfortable and 1/2 a block from the beach. It avoids the noise of the beach drive but access is right there. It is also close to CVS. Quaint courtyard where we met nice people.

Strong cleaning smell and the conflict of Spring Break but they handled that last part very well! Overall - this is a relatively inexpensive, well located, hotel with great service. Also near the water taxi! No gouging, only great basic service! Nice staff!

The Drift Hotel is a small Hotel squeezed betweengiant Hotel chains at the popular Sebastian Beach in Fort Lauderdale. Location is good if you want to stay close to the Beach. Other than that, the stay was quite a negative experience for us. The room that we had was very ran down, there was a certain stench in the room that didn’t want to go away. The AC while being pretty effective in cooling down the room, was extremely noisy, and also omitted an unpleasant smell. Everything in the room looked as if it could use a renovation or could be replaced by things that actually worked. The beds were very squeaky and the mattresses were very used and very soft same goes for the pillows that had seen a lot of guests. The bathroom was clean, but also smelled extremely moldy. The exhaust fan only works sporadically, and there was always a moisture buildup in the room warm water would take very long to arrive. In certain areas of the hotel there was Wi-Fi reception, unfortunately not so in our room. Across the street there is a massive construction site and it looks as if it works would continue for at least a couple years longer. Staff in general was nice. The problem was that the majority did not understand English; the vending machines for snacks and beverages ate a lot of dollars and they don’t really work, all in all this is an extremely basic hotel with a great location but I’m having a hard time recommending this place for anyone else who wants to spend precious vacation time in Fort Lauderdale.

The rooms were not at all responding to the photos. In addition there was no table no chairs no hangers to get clothes in the wardrobe.

everything, no parking, broke AC. poor staff. the front desk guy had the communication skills of a toddler. he barely spoke didn’t assist with problems and was an absolute disaster.

It is well located, the staff was friendly and the room was clean. It has free parking.

There is no desk at the room and the pillows are a bit too soft.
