The location was great. Have stayed there before. Breakfast was a nice touch.

It was not revealed in advance that housekeeping was only done every 3 days unless requested.

When we changed rooms things were much better. The room was clean but the shower unfortunately wasn’t. The breakfast choices were good.

Our first room was in the separate older building and it smelled damp and unpleasant and was very grubby and dated. We called reception and got changed to a room in the newer building.

Location to the Castle

No elevator, no AC, rooms look dilapidated and outdated rooms need upgrade badly, bugs In our Room, smelled Old as well and the worst parking.

No A/C, No curtain liner, squeaky ceiling fan that looked like was about to fall off the ceiling

The staff was amazing! The bed was comfy, the view from our room was amazing as well. The fireplace in our room was spectacular.

It’s expensive for one night, offered breakfast, but only waffles and cereal.

Very much said what it was on the tin - cosy clean very large bedroom in just outside Cambria

No dinner but this was never promised so was prepared A little noisy but that’s to be expected and okay for one night

It is our go to hotel when we visit San Simeon. Location is great facilities and rooms are clean and staff are friendly.

We asked them if we can stay another day and they agreed. But after a few minutes when we are about to leave our hotel room to go have breakfast they called and then told us it was sold out so we have to moved to another hotel on the other side. The breakfast is not a lot it is just muffins and beverages not much to get through day.

The room was beautiful and spacious. Close to Hearst Castle and downtown Cambria. Close walk to the beach. The paintings decorating the hallways were details of Hearst Castle and very charming. The Morgan, I assume is named for Julia Morgan, one of the first female Architects who worked on design of Hearst Castle. We enjoyed our stay very much.

WiFi was very limited.
