I LOVED the Room, it was so elegant and I really liked the high ceilings. The room decorations was so up-to-date and modern. Everything in the room was awesome. The staff was nice.
For Family Emergency, I had to leave early, the staff was understanding and very sympathetic with what was going on. There are no complaints about this room or the hotel.

Rooms are large and clean, beds great. We love that there are actual windows which can be opened for fresh air, as well as the typical a/c unit. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is no free breakfast but plenty of places to grab it very close by: we prefer choosing our own anyway!
Street noise can be noticeable sometimes, but its not terrible.

The beds were amazing! They provided us with the shower necessities which was perfect and when I asked them to fix the ac and light bulb they did!

Location was good, breakfast was suspended due to covid
I though the door to the room could have been sealed to the floor so bugs cannot get in.
Channels offered on the television were too limited.

I really loved how it was gated and only those with a key were able to enter. The outside patio had a beautiful setup and the room was beautiful!

This is my first time staying at the Bluestem Hotel in Torrance, CA. Today is Thursday, March 9, I checked in today and I am so impressed with this property and the location that I wanted to write a review now. Let's begin with the front desk point of contact, Frank. Frank is great, truly. He is a good man, and works for The Client, meaning everyone who checks-in. He was very helpful and courteous during check-in.
The property is very organized and clean. The room is also organized and VERY CLEAN. I like everything about this room from the flooring to the wallpaper and conveniences that are included in the room to make you feel comfortable. The bathroom is also extremely clean and organized, the shower is large and clean if not spotless. The room is not huge, but just the right size for two or more people.
There is ample parking, the parking lot is well lit and walking around inside the perimeter feels very safe. The parking lot is behind a beautiful wooden modern gate that can only be accessed after checking into the hotel. Also if you feel like you might want a snack, at the front desk there are items you can purchase to take back to your room or simply drink or eat on the open patio that guests use.
We like this hotel so much that we decided to stay an extra night, and we will be back again. The Bluestem Hotel provides you with a modern boutique hotel experience that is comfortable and inviting.
I wish there was a Level 2 charger for my plug-in hybrid vehicle. Other than that I am completely satisfied.

facilities are nice and comfortable. the garage gate helps me feel more secured
their deposit policy causes some anxiety, but i hope i won’t have to reconcile any charges in the future. and i hope breakfast comes back in the near future.

Quiet, all areas very clean, contemporary interior furnishings/exterior designs, comfortable bed/pillows, convenient walk-in shower and drainage system in good working condition
Not a lot of parking area for guest check in and quite tight
