We didn't have time to take photos to show the bad service

The guest in the room upstairs above me stomped their feet on the floor continuously the entire time I was there. Back and forth from one side of the room to the other non stop stomping. Nobody walks that hard. It seems as though they were intentionally stomping.there were roaches all over the bathroom. The coffee pot wasn't clean it had old coffee bags still in the machine. When I checked in, I wasn't aware that a 50 dollar cash deposit was required. This was stated only in the fine print in the policy. I don't know if it is booking.coms policy or super 8's policy but they would not wave it and it had to be cash so I had to go find an ATM to get 50 cash to pay the deposit. It is refundable but I feel if they require a credit card to rent the room then you shouldn't have to pay a deposit. That's how all other hotels and motels do. If you pay cash then sometimes you must pay a deposit but if a credit card is used the deposit is waived. But in this case it was required to use a credit card for the room but the deposit had to be cash. It was inconvenient. I don't believe it was super 8 that required the deposit because if I would've rented the room without using booking .com then they don't ask for a deposit. If this is the case then super 8 should have been able to waive the deposit.its just bad business. I won't be staying at super 8 again. At least not the super 8 in Houston hobby on Almeda Genoa. That place is trash.

Beds were nice

Air conditioning having to be pulled out and cleaned and the mini fridge and telephone didn't work

Refrigerator did not work and had dead Roach and roaches throughout the hotel room

Bed was uncomfortable had me n my husband soar
