It was typical of this type of lodging. The prepackaged muffins were very dry. The lady staffing the breakfast was doing a very good job of keeping it filled with the various items and keeping it clean.

The carpet was dirty and had spots and stains in several places and the shower surround had water damage in the lower front area. It wasn’t appealing.

Sleep Inn exceeded our expectations. The facilities are immaculate and comfortable. We had zero expectations for breakfast, but it was excellent and plentiful, with waffles, fresh fruit, cereals, breakfast sandwiches, juice, and milk. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is lovely to be welcomed warmly and invited to ask questions or obtain forgotten items. We were accidentally assigned a handicapped room, but the staff called a day early to confirm this reservation and check on any special needs. We changed the room assignment and were very happy with our suite.

The suite does not have a door separating the bedroom from the bath and living room. We like to be able to shut the door between rooms. This allows a guest to sleep while another watches television or works.

Comfy and roomy

The shower water pressure. Especially in a roll-in shower.. it gets VERY cold.

The location is really good. As a frequent visitor to Waco the closer you get to Baylor/downtown the harder it is to get around. Having said that as the city is growing south a lot of amenities are starting to make the location of this hotel more attractive. We were only ten-15 minutes from parking at Baylor from this hotel. Ten minutes to save $$$$ is worth it.

Breakfast was on the slim side. Although free we opted to eat out. Not a true Continental Breakfast but more of a grab a muffin and banana on the way-out affair.

I did not eat breakfast there because I am a healthy eater and nothing offered that met my dietary needs. I would have gladly paid for healthier options if they were available.

The female front desk staff were wonderful. The male front desk staff hid behind his computer playing games and had a hard time giving me the time and courtesy of paying me full attention at check in or at any time I needed to speak to him. He needs more training. The front desk personnel are the face of the hotel and when they are not pleasant, professional and attentive. they really should not be there. Please review your surveillance cameras to check what I am speaking about.

The room was nice and spacious comfy bed nice desk staff.

The location was great for the reason we were in Waco. That's why I chose this motel. I didn;t go to the breakfast but my husband was disappointed in it. The room was comfortable and we were able to get a handicapped room.

Get rid of the card that you absolutely have to fill out if you want anything done to clean your room. I've been where there are cards you can tell if you don't need your sheets changed everyday, but never where you fill out the card or you don't get your bed made, new towels or even toilet paper! They don't even check your room! The night clerk didn't speak even if you said hi to him. Not a friendly place.
