I loved the charm of a historical hotel. The gardens out back was beautiful.

Our room didn’t have a fridge. This didn’t bother me as much but my husband complained about it all week.

I truly enjoyed the hominess of the place. I felt comfortable. it was the perfect place for rest and relaxation.

Nothing that I didn't like. I will be staying again for sure.

Our breakfast server, Elizabeth was the sweetest young lady. I loved staying here and would love to do so again.

Eggs weren’t prepared the way I’d asked. There were several other diners as there had been a wedding so I didn’t say anything. Upon leaving, the attendant that checked me out was not very friendly. The lady who had checked us in was great.

The breakfast was spectacular! I eat very healthy and they had yogurt, fresh fruit and homemade granola waiting for you when you sit down. Then I was able to order a very specific egg white omelet with the exact ingredients I wanted. There were many other options to choose from more classic in style- Service was excellent. Outstanding that it was included in the room rate!!!

Loved the location, service at breakfast and breakfast. The shower and bathroom area.

The room.....look like an "after thought"- nothing like online pictures-slave quarters accommodation is more like it. Turn it into a storage or lower the price. The ironing board was broken. The floors looked clean but was dirty....my son's socks looked like he walked in black chimney dust. Floor tile is buckled....air pockets. $299.00 is overpriced for #6. A door in the bedroom was unlocked w/bright light on the other side, not sure where it was leading to....not comfortable with that.

It was beautiful inside and outside!!! I enjoyed having drinks and dinner in the library and not having to go out!

Proximity to restaurants, shopping, and the interstate. The homey feel, like you’re staying at an extension of your house. Breakfast was delicious! The staff is always available and willing to serve. Great time! We’re relaxed and rejuvenated.

the ambiance was nice. the suite was nicely appointed. had the option to have complimentary breakfast sent for small charge. despite loud event going on on premises, rm was relatively quiet.

1. limited parking 2. kept getting night room service order wrong, had to make several trips. offered to get dessert for free but since already ordered was told "oh well". 3. both night and morning meals burnt and cold, dessert melted. rm service came from expensive fine dining restaurant on premises but couldn't tell. for 2 people to eat entree, 2 desserts and 2 warm sodas was over $100 and still had to send the delivery woman back numerous times. 4. felt like we were an after thought d/t wedding also going on at location. 5. bed was hard. slept poorly. 6. room was hot and couldn't control thermostat. might be because vent was poorly placed, was covered by very heavy drapes but vent too close to wall to keep out onlookers/early morning sun without vent blowing air out behind drapes. 7. no table to place room service tray on.

food was poor for dinner. Chef was off and one waitress was run ragged, resulting in poor service. Duck was unbelievably tough Very nice ambience
