This B&B is memorable! So much charm packed into such a small space! Kate clearly cares about her home, and her guests. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING, along with conversations with Kate.
With unseasonably warm weather and no air conditioning we relied on fans to keep air flowing. The shared bathroom (shower) could use an updating.

Squeaky doors need oil - trying to be quiet at night for the bathroom was a challenge

Kate and Willa are awesome. They made me and my dog feel at home and are so dang friendly. It's like staying at your favorite friend or Aunts house. Breakfast was delicious. They even made me little peanut butter crepes for my drive to McCarthy.10/10. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. They're the best.

Very interesting place with an awesome array of options to stay. Location has almost no options other than camping, so this is a wonderful alternative. The host was awesome and made sure we were treated well.

We enjoyed sharing a colourful eccentric home and garden, staying in a room next to the main bathroom within the main house. A delightful breakfast was served to suit our departure time the next morning. Thoroughly enjoyed our discussion and family history lesson with our host.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like about the property The only semi-unlikable thing was the outside temperature -2 degrees and only Mother Nature has control over that …

What a fun place to stay. We were welcomed like family. Kate prepared a delicious breakfast the day we were hustling off to Kennecott, and an amazing special breakfast of sourdough pancakes on our last day there. Her sourdough was made with 175 year old starter passed down from her family and delicious.
We felt like we were family from the start and look forward to visiting again.
The stay was too short. There were more things to learn about the area.

Everything you could ask for. Great night sleep, shower, and breakfast to get you ready for an Alaskan adventure. One of the only options in the area and it has all the amenities you need to stay comfortable.

First of all, Kate is a wonderful host and a great conversationalist. The breakfast here is magnificent and well presented. Rooms are small but comfortable. This is our second time here and we will be back then next time we are in this part of Alaska.

Kate is so welcoming and accommodating. It felt like you were staying with a friend. The breakfast was outstanding and delicious. I am obsessed with the decor of the whole place, very warm and cosy feeling.

Everything was just amazing. Warm hosting, breakfast was delicious, room was very clean. It was easy to find, the owner was very friendly and satisfy all our needs.

Excellent gourmet breakfast and Kate packed us up some great banana bread to go.
The only thing is we had some difficulty finding the location. Maybe it could be marked more clearly as we drove past a couple of times before realizing it was in the place marked for coffee.
