Location and parking are good at this hotel. Easy to get about. Staff are very good.

We didn't like anything - nothing went well.

The basin was cracked, the toilet flush didn't work, the bath was tiny, the shower curtain was dirty, there were no hand towels and no water provided in the room. And it was expensive. They charged 4/5 star rates for 2 star accomodation.

Location for the Comic Con was perfect and also close to shopping areas and bus station to catch Megabus back home. Quickness of them bringing out cooked breakfast, friendliness of staff

Having to use toasters to make our toast and only one of the two was working properly.

Not enough towels in room. Not given a hand towel. Also no extraction fan in bathroom means need to keep window open to prevent damp smell.

The staff were amazing. They were pleasant polite interactive and just couldn’t do enough for you.

Sehr gute Lage nahe Albert Dock, freundliches Personal, super zügiges Einchecken. Fenster im Zimmer konnte geöffnet und so auch durchgelüftet werden. Es gibt eine gemütliche Hotelbar.

Zimmer und das Bad sind schon ein bisschen abgewohnt, aber trotzdem sauber. Für einen Jungs Trip zum Fussball, war das aber auch kein Drama. Die Hotelbar macht sehr zeitig zu (22:45 Uhr).

Needs some attention - bathroom dated and tiles/grout quite dirty.

Location was pretty good. A few minutes walk from the Albert dock area. Room was clean and bedding was spotless. Shower was really powerful which is highly unusual but appreciated after a long day travelling and exploring the city

It was a bit tired and in need of updating generally. Wood chip wallpaper and squeaky doors. Dated bathroom and my mattress was a little saggy and lumpy.

For the price paid for 2 nights I've stayed in 4* Carpets were cheap old and grotty. Bed was really uncomfortable. Definitely wouldn't stay again.

The WiFi and the location were the only positives things from our stay.

The room smelled of chlorine, so much so it was as though the staff were covering something up. When we moved the bed, it was filthy not just underneath but at the sides of the bed too. The cost was high considering these things. The biggest issue was the bed itself - it was on castors, so when we sat up in bed and led against the headboard the bed ran away across the room - we both nearly fell backwards. We had to wedge furniture in to stop it moving around, which isn’t great when you have mobility issues.

The security tab on the window was broken so we couldn’t leave it open, the bed moved when you sat on it.

Nearness to water Sports Centre and River Mersey walk. Easy walk to Albert dock and Ferry port. Not far from Bus Station.

The only thing which was missing was no Bran Flakes at breakfast for two days, however there was a good choice of other breakfast foods to eat. My friend and I had clean towels every day.
