Foyer and flat unwelcoming. Garden poorly maintained. Parking difficult.

A basic apartment located 35 min out of Edinburgh by bus. Clean and tidy. Nice bedroom, living area. Comfortable bed. Bus stop less than 1 minute away.

Lack of proper parking, very cramped, got parked in by another. Not keen on parking on a busy busy road in a car rental. No tea towels or instructions on how to use the oven. Bathroom heating rail about to fall off the wall. Shower drainage could be better. Lots of old furniture lying in back yard, making it look grungy and unkept. A bit overpriced for what you get.

good location - right near a bus stop so easy to get straight into the city from there. bed/sheets were clean. decent sized room/bathroom.

all the plates / bowls / mugs were chipped / cracked. room itself wasn’t actually very clean, lots of dust and grime everywhere. staff were completely unreachable - tried messaging and calling multiple times and never heard back from them. the stairs are also rather narrow and steep so very hard to get up and down with luggage. couch is incredibly uncomfortable to sleep on, and despite mentioning there were two people staying (mother and daughter) they left no extra bed linen etc. really overpriced for what it was.

There was plenty of space out the front to park, the security was nice too, a code for the front door and a seperate code for your individual apartment, the apartment we stayed in was a good size. The sofa bed in the living room seemed pretty stable and comfortable. Bathroom was ok, shower got plenty hot enough. There was a nice big window in the living room overlooking the garden. There was also a patch of grass out the back with a table and chairs which was nice to relax at in the evening.

The parking that was mentioned at the back of the property isn't really suitable for larger cars and the driveway up is pretty steep, so anything like a Vauxhall Corsa "should" be ok but any thing like my Ford Mondeo I wouldn't recommend trying to get up there, the bed in the bedroom was pretty creaky and the floor was a little loose and creaky in a few places upstairs and on the stairs. I think i stepped on a nail in the entrance to the bedroom too but I only noticed it one time. The dimmer switches were broken in the living room and we couldn't find a switch for the extractor fan in the bathroom.

Decor was a bit shoddy & not very clean. No plug for bath. Hairs on bedding & in bathroom. Shower head was full of grime. Remote for tv was yucky & the floors weren’t very clean.

very spacious, good location and reasonably priced

The bed was possibly the worst bed I have slept on, so hard and could feel all the springs. There was no plug in any of the sinks or even the bath, so couldn’t use the bath at all. the shower head was mouldy and disgusting and also nearly hanging off the wall. The kitchen utilities were bare minimum and some were dirty when we arrived. The car parking spaces at the rear of the house quite difficult to get too, wouldn’t recommend attempting to use them if you don’t have a small hatchback car. there was also a old car with flat tyres and broken mirrors taking up one of the spaces (surely this could be removed to provide more space to guests?)

Location was good. Automatic key cards good. A little drafty but weather was very cold. Modern bathroom in otherwise old house

Noisy door closures but didn't cause too much disturbance.. Fittings slightly in need of repair but on the whole very good

It was all good, the only downside is the customer service on the weekends if you face an issue they have nobody to fix it! We kind of solve the problem over the phone but saying that “It is Sunday and I can’t send anybody” is very unprofessional!

Great apartment accommodation, perfect for work with fridge, small kitchen and plenty of room for dining and lounging. Great shower too

Realistically you’ve going to have to be parking on the main road outside property however it is a very wide road and I was never worried about leaving my van there. No road noise in apartment but busy enough not to worry about tools in van.

Very comfortable room with a lovely bath and cozy kitchen. Nice little nook by the window with a couch that was wonderful to just sit and enjoy the view. Close to the city center but not too crowded. Would definitely stay again!

no instructions for the appliances. fridge freezer not working. cold bathroom as window lets in the cold. shutter doesn’t close so you can be seen from outside.
