Great location for me I am a regular visitor and the room is ideal for my needs and always good value and very clean

Owner was very friendly. Only 10 mins walk from the train station and a pub directly opposite with a good real ale selection. Key pads on the inner and outer doors meant we could come and go at any time as well.

A little bit expensive for the room but otherwise everything was fine.

The shower wasn't very powerful

The location was spot on near the town and near the open air theatre. The place was cosy and warm, very comfortable and clean. The shower was hot and powerful. We had a brilliant stay and definitely we will be returning again next year. We love the fact that it is room only cos we can get up later for something to eat and not tied to a time. Thank you The Thoresby you never disappoint!!

The man was very friendly and helped us bring our luggage in. He was also very helpful with directing us for anything we needed. The room and hotel was very clean and nice.

The only issue was that you can't eat in room so we used the dining room. However the lady who came in cleaning in the morning locked it so we couldn't use it which was disappointing.

The staff were really welcoming, even the building owner was very friendly and down to earth, it was very clean and quiet with no problems what so ever, location was excellent for the beach on your door step with local shops on your door step also, and a pub directly over the road that does great food and entertainment.

I loved the location. It couldn't be more perfect for the North Bay and the Open Air Theatre. The room was perfect. Had everything we needed and more. We just didn't stay long enough so we will be back very soon. Thank you for your hospitality Noel :)
