This is the worst homestay I have ever stayed at(of course for a 45 minute duration) because of the following reasons: 1. The vibe of the homestay is very bad as I have seen the host family members shouting and fighting among selves without considering the experience of the guests staying in the neighbouring rooms. 2. The host Mr. Abraham is very hostile. He’s showing his bad mood (caused by his family members) towards me when I told him that I am checking out after 45 minutes of check in. 3. The AC availability option (Yes or No) was not mentioned in the description of the homestay in the booking.com and I was told that they keep only non-ac rooms in the Booking.com (Weird) 4. The non ac rooms are so small that it’s difficult for a person even to move from one point to another point. 5. The ventilation of the non ac rooms is horrible with only one fan which is also not properly placed to get some cool air. 6. The locality of the property is very bad as it is too noisy around adding to the noise made by the host family. 7. The guy at the reception office doesn’t understand any other language other than Malayalam and Tamil making the guests feel very uncomfortable to communicate. 8. By cancelling an already booked good property to stay I have made a big mistake by booking this homestay going through the reviews of other guests. 9.My personal opinion - Kindly avoid booking this homestay as there are many other high better options available near by. Because of my mistake I have ended up experiencing the below: 1. Paid Rs. 972 for a mere 45 minute horrible stay. 2. Got a rude and hostile communication from the host. 3. Struggled a lot to make the guy at the reception understand what I speak.

It's a really cute place. The room was very clean, the breakfast was nice, and the host was very helpful with everything. I stress again that the room's cleanliness exceeded my expectations by far, the bathroom was shining like one's own home. Added to that the price is very affordable. We arrived a few hours before check in time but they accommodated us, at a nominal charge. They were also happy to keep our luggage with them for the day after we checked out in the morning, as our train was in the evening. Had a wonderful time in Alleppey and this house is an important contributing factor. As an unmarried couple, this was the perfect place for us.

The place was convenient for my and my friend's one-night stay, and the hosts were kind and friendly, helping us arrange an auto-rickshaw to our next destination. We also enjoyed the free breakfast of dosas, tea, and coffee.

The room only had one electrical outlet, which was in an inconvenient location and not working. My friend and I could only charge our devices by unplugging the television.
