it was clean, quite basic but everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable.

The employees were extremely kind and accommodating - they arranged a shuttle to and from the Dire Dawa airport and were very flexible with us as we changed our plans a few times. The room was clean, and the wifi was shockingly fast (faster than our apartment in Addis!) and we had a router directly in the room. The balcony gave a beautiful view over the city. The hotel is in the new city, so take a bajaj to get to the old city/gates - this'll run you ~$1 and 5 minutes.

The hotel is on a busy street, and the road noise can be loud. Bring ear plugs or use a 'white noise' playlist and you'll be fine. There was a large gap under the balcony door, so some mosquitoes made their way inside. Still slept well, but consider finding something to 'plug' the gap (or bring repellent).

The people responsible to run this place is very friendly and helpful to guide me around the places I have visited . Everything was good

Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Nice food. They even have us a complimentary meal. I wish we could have stayed longer but our trip was cut short due to Covid 19, and the need to make our way to Addis Ababa.

Daniel, the manager, and his staff are welcoming and generous. It's a clean and pleasant hotel, a 10 minute bajaj to the old town.

Whilst he wasn't pushy, the price for a guide fee quoted by Solomon/Rasta at the hotel was four times the going rate. However, we were easily able to arrange an alternative at the Harar gate and it caused no issue with Daniel.

Good food ,friendly staff

The hotel owner, Daniel, is a very helpful guy. He organized the tour with guide, transportation and gave tips about the town.

No hot water... The shower is a bit broken.

The Owner Daniel was generous he didn't charge me for the evening meals plus without asking he prepared a lunch box for my early morning start. There is hot water and a delicious breakfast. All the staff are friendly and helpful. In addition he arranged an early morning taxi to take me to the bus station. Daniel is the kindest hotel owner I have ever met ! Thanks Daniel!
