Second time visiting the city and this place had it all. Fantastic location, furnishings, well stocked kitchen and bedrooms. Would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommended. A+

This was by far THE BEST VRBO we've stayed at over the years and across the globe. We had a lovely time together. The hosts were pleasant to communicate with when making arrangements. We had no troubles during our stay. The linens were high quality. A Christmas wreath on the entry door welcomed us as well as a charming Christmas tree twinkling in the sitting room. The location was perfect--quiet, yet within walking distance to places we visited. We hope to visit again!

Beautiful home and well taken care of. The rooms are all spacious and no expense was spared. Great location to walk around city and beautiful views of the castle. It's the little touches that stood out for me like coffee, snacks, champagne and chocolate - even had umbrellas to use. They thought of everything!

We just spent the best week in Edinburgh with 2 other couples. This flat was absolutely perfect for the 6 of us. The property manager introduced himself as soon as I made the booking and was very responsive to my questions. They allowed us to check in a bit early which was a very helpful so that we weren't lugging bags around all day. (I realize that if the flat was booked the day before it would have been impossible for them to accommodate us so there was some luck involved - but I was grateful that they were willing to be flexible on check in timing as not all hosts are!) The location was amazing - so close to the Grassmarket and Princes St with a gorgeous view of the castle. The flat was beautifully appointed with everything you could think of needing and very clean. I can't recommend this enough to anyone traveling to Edinburgh with a group.

Great experience with the property. Lovely flat in a fantastic location within walking distance of so much that Edinburgh has to offer. It’s a nice wide street as well (good for pick ups & drop offs). Would definitely rent again.

This is a luxurious apartment in the heart of Edinburgh.

The apartment was very comfortable and had a warm feeling about it. It was spacious and very close to the castle and the Royal Mile. It was great to be able to do laundry and have a nice, easy breakfast before starting the day.

The property is stunning. It's so well done and was perfectly clean as well. I would absolutely stay here again. Plenty of room for my family of 4, kids ages 10 and 12.

We had 3 adults and 3 kids with us, walking in the door we were blown away with the flat, it was so nice! Location to the Royal Mile was wonderful as well! I would highly recommend this VRBO!

We had a wonderful break staying at the Castle Terrace apartment. The apartment is a delight - very spacious with gorgeous high ceilings, well-equipped kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. The addition of a decorated Christmas tree in the lounge was a very welcome bonus. All in all a very memorable long weekend enhanced by the comfortable and homely accommodation.

From start to finish, our booking and stay at this apartment exceeded our expectations. Siobhan was so kind, friendly and helpful. Upon arrival, checking in was a breeze which is always a relief after traveling. The apartment was clean, beautifully furnished as shown, comfortable and spacious. It felt like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of exploring each day. There were four adults and two children in our group and we all enjoyed the comforts of this apartment. The kitchen and living room both had spacious seating to gather and socialize. Truly, it was a magical stay, in the lap of luxury, with the most incredible views out the windows. I personally appreciated the gorgeous bedding, linens and extra blankets as well as the bath robes (in each room). The Nespresso coffee, and bottle of champagne upon arrival were such nice touches as well. Thank you for sharing such a special place with us! The comforts and ambience of this apartment made our trip so special. I hope my children always look back in awe of our stay in the shadows of Edinburgh castle. I know I will! Edinburgh stole our hearts.

This apartment is absolutely gorgeous and very spacious. Our family of four was very comfortable and content! It is located in a great location with easy walking access to all the top sites. The apartment was very clean and well-equipped and we had no issues at all. It was awesome to stay in such a large, beautiful space and it made our trip more relaxing and enjoyable since we had so much space. We were able to use the kitchen to microwave food we had bought, and we also enjoyed the special touches like the gorgeous Christmas tree and the Orla Kiely toiletries. A great stay in a great city!

We just returned from our stay in Edinburgh and wanted to share how delighted we were with this property. It was beautifully decorated and perfectly furnished with attention to every detail. The location was adjacent to Princes Street Gardens and in the shadows of Edinburgh Castle.

Our two families are traveling through Scotland chasing Harry Potter. We needed a home base in Edinburgh to start our journey and our Castle View apartment was an exceptional launching pad. We were so comfortable in the three bedrooms (excellent linens!) and were able to spread out and enjoy both the living room and the kitchen. Our hosts thought of every little detail (e.g. 2 blow driers available) that made our stay feel like home. We really appreciated the early check in and the constant communication with the property manager. When we had a question, we were able to get a response right away. We highly recommend this unique spot and would absolutely return on our next visit.

It’s clean, spacious, beautiful and has very nice high end finishing. It was clean and easy to feel like home. We loved the 3 bathrooms and their size was great for us. We appreciated large showers for Eu standards. The furniture was very comfortable and many high end finishing are throughout the property. The host was responsive and easy to work with. The kitchen is amazing- well stocked, large fridge/freezer, wonderful washer and dryer, a lovely large table. The design was also very nice. I loved the finishing and trim in the master. The only suggestions we can come up with took a lot of thinking- might be nice to have a shelf in the showers, the website you must use to preregistration after full payment was a bit unexpected as it went to spam and was cumbersome once I finally logged it, and the hall for the flat is a bit dark on the first floor. Parking in the area is expensive. It would be nice to be able to buy a residence pass for the week. We would definitely stay again if we wanted to be in the same location.

This property was perfect for our family of six. We had more than enough room and the rooms were extremely quiet. We could not tell when someone got up early in the morning or if they stayed up late. The location was wonderful! We could easily walk to the Royal Mile. There were many restaurants to choose from near the apartment. We were greeted by David who was very friendly and helpful. He showed us around the apartment and was available if we had in questions. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Everything via the Edinburgh Address went very smoothly!! Anytime I asked a question or had a concern, someone would email me!! Communication was top notch!! Unfortunately, we even did encounter an emergency while there, and the concierge service was extremely responsive! The place is extremely big and comfortable. Our party of 8 never seemed crammed into the space. The kitchen is always where we congregate and it's such a great big table!! The beds very comfortable! Rooms were very spacious. The living room has enough seats for a large party! The bathrooms were fantastic with heated floors and towel racks!! For American travelers, it would be nice to have directions on how to use the appliances! The French Press coffee maker takes a bit to get used to. Also, we did see recycling bins all around Edinburgh but there wasn't anything offered for this apartment. Feel this is something very important. It is centrally located to everything!! The Castle View is incredible!! You can walk to the tram and flag a cab nearby easily! Overall, we had a great stay!! We would come again.

We arrived early for a weekend in the Castle View Apartment. We had a 10 minute wait in the cold awaiting our key holder. This was soon forgotten when we stepped in to the warm welcome of our weekend home. As the other guests arrived we all had to choose a bedroom.... who would get the best room? Well, we all did! Every bedroom is tastefully decorated and luxurious. Only one room did not have an en-suite, but as there was also a family bathroom off the main hallway, nobody really missed out. The living area had sufficient seating for all of the guests (6) to chill out and either prepare for our day out, or reflect on our time as we unwound before bedtime. We chose to eat out most of the weekend, but, having had eoungh of city life, we had a lovely Sunday evening together around the dining table. We enjoyed the ambience of the kitchen / dining room. It was cosy, but large enough not to feel closed in. Later on Sunday evening we retired to the living room, where again we enjoyed the comfort of the furnishings and the atmosphere the room created with its high ceilings and quality wallpaper. And, of course, from the windows to the front of the apartment we had great views all day and night of the Castle and surrounding grounds. The Apartment, did not only work in terms of its facilities inside. It's positioning within the city meant all the city sites we wished to visit were within easy walking distance. This was especially important to me, as I suffer from a painful ankle, having had a Club foot as a child. Even for me, I could make George Street in less than 10 minutes. Although I live locally to Edinburgh, I would still gladly use this Apartment again. And, in fact, we are already planning a return trip, perhaps at a warmer time of year next time!!

The flat is lovely and fully equipped for short stays. The location is convenient to NewTown and safe for night time walking, also convenient to walk to Old Town and The Castle area for museums and galleries. Edinburgh Address personnel were tremendously helpful with very capable concierge arrangements and their own prompt handling of all our requests.

Had such comfort and excellent proximity to all the sites. We really enjoyed the evening fireworks seen from our rooms in comfort. Superb!

Overall a wonderful flat - absolutely beautiful! just a couple of small glitches - hard to get four showers in with all having hot water although I believe they fixed that - door to washer/dryer stuck and they should leave directions to that appliance. The main bedroom was a bit noisy as it faced the street and there was a great deal of traffic outside.
