Gareth’s flat on Rose St was amazing. Very clean and nicely decorated. When we first arrived it was a little hairy getting around…Edinburgh is a very busy city and I was out of my element driving the rental car. Once we parked and unloaded we were so very pleased with the flat. The location was absolutely perfect…I had returned the car so we were walking everywhere. We were so central to everything so walking was amazing. The busses and trams were available pretty much at your doorstep if you wished to use them. Gareth was very responsive if I needed to contact him. The beds were so comfortable, we had no complaints whatsoever. I would highly this charming flat. It was everything we needed and perfectly described. Thank you Gareth for such a wonderful stay in your beautiful city.

We so enjoyed our stay on Rose Street. Gareth has thought of everything! We especially appreciated the comfortable beds. The apartment was clean and charming and couldn’t be located in a better location in Edinburgh.

The flat was just as described and we were made to feel welcomed from the beginning. Gareth checked in on us during the stay and made sure we had everything we needed. LOVED Edinburgh! Would 100% recommend for anyone wanting a great location and accommodation.

Gareth was easy to reach and very accommodating. The lovely apartment was spacious and convenient to bus stop, restaurants, and shopping. We loved the quiet neighborhood and being close to a great little pub. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen complete and even with windows open, we were not bothered by noise. I highly recommend staying with Gareth. He is an excellent host and his apartment is impeccable. A total 10!

Rose Street Newtown is THE place to stay in Edinburgh. Close to all of the main attractions, great restaurants and nightlife. The apartment it well appointed, comfortable and quiet. Can’t crecommend it too highly,

The Rose Apartment is located in a wonderful part of Edinburgh. We used the tram from the airport and got off at Prince’s Street where we had a 5 minute walk to the apartment located on Rose Street. We were able to walk most places including the Royal Mile and the castle as well as Dean Village and the botanical garden. We did use the bus to get to the Royal Yacht Britannia. Located on Rose Street are varied retail shops and great restaurants. The unit was fully equipped and snacks, butter and a small jug of milk was provided as well as the usual condiments. Tea and coffee was also available. The only downside was the washer was broken. Perhaps no one had tried to use it recently or no one reported the problem to the owner; we did. Hopefully the next renters will have the benefit of the washer working. Other than that , we have no negative comments. We were there for 4 nights and it was a quiet location. We definitely recommend.

The apartment is close to many things and is a hidden historic jewel. The unit was clean, comfy, decorated nicely and makes you feel at home and not like a tourist. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks to Gareth as well!

My family had a wonderful stay. The owners made checking easy ( I was delayed twice on route from Newcastle). The apartment had all the amenities one would need and having a clothes washers was a big bonus. Everywhere we visited in the city was easily accessible from this property. On my next visit to Edinburgh I would not hesitate to book this for my stay.

This apartment is perfect for a family! Stayed here with my wife and two kids (Ages 2 & 8mo), and it was perfect. Has a washing machine for clothes, two comfortable bedrooms, a full kitchen and living room. There are stairs up to it, but it’s easy enough to carry a stroller up there. We would definitely stay again.

The Edinburgh New Town apartment is one of the nicest VRBO properties we've stayed in. It was on a pedestrian only street and close to everything including Edinburgh castle, the Royal mile, Holyrood, as well as grocery stores, shops and several good restaurants. The property was nicely decorated, very clean, and spacious, and our host, Gareth, was great to work with and very helpful. The booking, arrival and checkout all went well, and he was very responsive to inquiries. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay in this property. It's in an excellent location in central Edinburgh within easy walking distance of the tram, Princes Street and Waverley Station. Gareth was really helpful and accommodating making this an easy and comfortable stay for us and our young family in fantastic surroundings. Thank you and we hope to return one day!

Very easy to find in a fantastic location. Appartment was finished to an excellent standard. We all felt very comfortable for the short time we stayed would loved to stay longer. Hope to return would definitely use again. 5 stars

On arrival, the apartment was immaculate. We didn't meet our host, but his communication was excellent and the supplies that were left for us to eat/use during our stay were, we felt, over and above- a really nice touch! The location was perfect - Rose Street is just lovely. We could walk everywhere we wanted to visit. We all slept well - despite being in the city centre, the bedrooms were so peaceful. It was a real home from home and made our first visit to Edinburgh perfect. Highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of staying at Gareth's flat for 5 nights. We were a party of 4. Plenty of room. Flat was spotless and beautiful! Communication with Gareth was flawless. The location was the star! If you're heading to Edinburgh, choose this spot. We'll be back!

We could not have been happier. The location is unbelievable … in the heart of the restaurant and shopping district and just adjacent to the Princes Street gardens. Lovely, sparkling clean flat with great little touches everywhere. Even a small pretty cake to greet us. Thank you so much!

Me and my wife stayed for the weekend with our 10 year old son who is oxygen dependent. We had a delivery of oxygen on Friday and a collection on Monday. Gareth went above and beyond to help by being there for the delivery and being present for collection, making it a stress free weekend for us which is not always the case. As for the property it’s exactly as it’s listed, absolutely spotless and perfect in every way. Milk, bread, butter, jam and more as a welcome. Can’t wait to return in the future and we would recommend it to anyone 👍👍👍

A lovely apartment with plenty of space for a family. Gareth is the perfect host who communicated with us and made the entire check-in process very easy. The bedrooms were all good size and the beds very comfortable.

This flat was perfect for our 3 night stay in Edinburgh. We were travelling with our little one (under 2) and the place was child friendly too. Gareth was very kind and helpful with check in and check out and even had milk and some snacks for us upon our arrival. The flat couldn’t be in a better location either. You can’t go wrong with this booking!

Our trip was one of those trips that had to be arranged due to covid and Gareth’s communication throughout it all was fantastic. Checkin was very easy and Gareth was always contactable if we needed him. The flat itself is lovely and homely, in a fantastic location - slap bang in the middle of Edinburgh making everything walkable but the street itself was lovely and quiet. We would highly recommend booking!

Gareth’s place is right on Rose St, a walking street in Edinburgh - so very quiet and well located for shops & restaurants. The flat is very cozy and well decorated. It is very well appointed & appreciated the little touches like cookies, crisps, milk, butter, jam etc. The bathroom is newly remodeled & all the rooms were immaculate. Highly recommend.

The apartment was very clean and tidy with everything we needed and a couple of little surprise extras. The place is in a great location for exploring the city and finished to a high standard and well maintained. We will definitely look to stay here again.
