Perfect house for our annual trip! Perfect location - on the lake and very close to the downtown. Love the space, the decks, the hot tub, and the bar!

Beautiful home, nicely decorated and comfortable and layed out. All 5 bedrooms with bathrooms are very spacious and comfortable. Lots of room to relax and huge gathering areas, including the bar area in the lower area. Great deck and hot tub! Highly recommended for your vacations. Families can have privacy when they want and then gather all in the spacious rooms to be with each other.

12 of us were able to easily stay in this house! It was the perfect backdrop for our family get away with all the siblings. Just enough away from downtown galena to have a peaceful retreat. We went into downtown galena for the morning of check in and explored. Check in was all online and a breeze! The house is set up wonderfully with full baths attached to every bedroom. Very spacious! The great room was perfect for us. We all like to gather to prep food and dine. The kitchen was well supplied! Grill is updated and perfect! Webers are awesome grills. The decks are great for morning coffee or night stargazing! We enjoyed both! It was fantastic that the fireplace and fire pit was available! The fact that wood is supplied makes it even BETTER!! We love telling family stories by the fires. Great experiences overall and we would surely return for another get away!! Thanks so much almost heaven rentals!!!

The property was very spacious. The men in the group feel the TV was to small. The only issue was the kitchen cabinets were hard to open. Very sticky. We forgot an item in the house and the property manager was very helpful in getting it back for us.

Got together with four of my high school friends and their spouses for a long weekend. Having five bedrooms with their own bath was awesome. Place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.

Very spacious. Three levels so each family had their own level. Well equipped. Nice hot tub. Outdoor fire pit. Bar and extra refrigerator on lower level. Nice deck. Secluded location with plenty of parking.

The house was extremely clean. There was room enough for us, our kids and some of their friends. We cooked out on the grill, did pancakes, ate out in the Territories and in Galena. We boys golfed on three of the courses, we spent time at the owners club pool. The house handled our group and activities beautifully. Was able to get fast answers to our minimal questions. Great house, great hosts. Loved it. Exactly as described.

Great trip. House was clean and well stocked. All the king bed suites were perfect for an adult getaway. Hot tub was wonderful. Additional refrigerator downstairs came in really handy.

We had a group of 12 -- 4 households, with kids ranging from 8-16. The house was great for our needs. We had plenty of room to spread out and to gather as the weekend went on. We took advantage of many local activities -- horseback riding, golf, swimming pool, shopping in Galena, attended service at one of the local churches, and hiked Horseshoe Mound (with a visit to Blaum Bros distillery after!) -- Couple of notes, the house is as pictured -- clean, spacious, comfortable -- waterview is limited. Neighboring houses are very close, but we felt like we still had decent privacy (only really noticed when we played yard games on the driveway). Galena is a short 15 minute drive on curvy backroads. We loved our time together and truly appreciate the small touches and easy communication that came with this stay. Highly recommend!

We stayed with 4 couples, one single and an elderly parent. Lots of room for everyone and the view from the main deck is unbelievable. There is some upkeep that needs to be done to the house, but it didn’t affect our stay. Excellent quiet location to relax!

We had 4 adults and 7 kids in our group and everyone had a bedroom and bed, the house has ample space. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and it’s open to the living and dining room allowing families to hang out while prepping meals. The living room has a fireplace and they provide the fire starters and wood for it. There’s a Weber grill on the first floor with an extra tank and all the grilling tools are there too. The hot tub on the lower level was really nice, we enjoyed it every day. I think we were the first visitors after winter because the house could have used a quick overall cleaning before we arrived, but I’ll take that up with the management team. The upper balcony does need some repairs, there’s some floorboards that are rotted and the railing has a missing spindle. We had to keep the kids off that porch for safety reasons. But we did notify management so hopefully it gets fixed. Overall the home was fantastic and we’d stay there again.

We had a group of 8 stay at the property. We wanted something in Galena with 5 bedrooms, a firepit, hot tub or pool, and a nice centralized gathering area. The home was beautiful. The main living area had plenty of space for our group and the dining room table was big enough for us to all sit for dinner at the same time. The bedrooms were amazing with 4 of the rooms having private or semi-private baths with jacuzzi tubs. Those came in handy since the hot tub was still non-functional (which was a bummer). Fortunately, a close friend lives 2 blocks away and has a hot tub so we visited him! The firepit was great and there was firewood supplied. The firewood didn't burn great, but it did burn....just took awhile. I would also suggest bringing folding chairs for the firepit as the boulders - as beautiful as they are - are hard to sit on for long periods of time. We all had brought chairs so we were good to go. The bar area and downstairs and all of the decks/sunrooms were amazing space that we utilized throughout our weekend. Driving from the home to downtown Galena is full of amazing views including the waterfalls at Small Pox Creek (yes...that's really the name). We all agreed that we would make this home an annual visit. Thank you for the fantastic hospitality.

The house was very roomy! There were 9 of us, and we had plenty of room in our own spaces and room to gather together. We cooked several meals, and the kitchen was well stocked. We were impressed by all the outdoor seating areas, although it was a little chilly during our stay, so we didn’t sit outside but were able to use the grill on the main level deck. The beds were comfortable, and the house was clean. The photos accurately show the rooms. There was plenty to do in Galena—touring the historic buildings, golf, shopping in the downtown area and eating at very good restaurants. We had a great time! Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

The property was great for a friendscation. We had 5 couples (40+ yr olds). The bedroom and bathroom set up was great with decks for each bedroom as well. We enjoyed the kitchen and open floor plan and the outdoor fire pit most evenings. The only negative was the hot tub was broken during our entire stay which was one of the primary things we were looking for in a rental when we booked this property. And they did not offer any kind of a discount or incentive for the broken amenity. Other than that, it was a great property and the owners/managers were pretty responsive to our questions. We would recommend this property to others.

Property was great, many options for sleeping arrangements for guests with most bedrooms having and en-suite bathroom. Lots of space throughout the house to spread out. Basement is perfect for an adult space with a wonderful bar area also doubles as a perfect space for kids to play games. Property manager was quick with communication and responses to messages. Overall, a wonderful home to plan your next getaway in Galena!

Lots of room to hang out with a big group at this property. We loved that every bedroom had it's own bathroom (with one bedroom using a hall bath). We enjoyed the main deck and hot tub as well. We travel together with friends every year and we'd come back to this home on a future trip.

We absolutely loved this property. Galena is so beautiful and being right on the lake was amazing. The lay out of the house was so great fir the multiple people we had. And having a bathroom fir each room felt luxurious! I would highly recommend to anyone!

The house was perfect for our 3 families - loved that 4/5 bedrooms had adjoining baths. Each family had a floor and met in the middle, and enjoyed breakfast on the patio every morining. It was a little hot for dinner, but we did enjoy the grill and the huge dining room table. This is the first time for us that the grill was usable in a Vrbo rental. We would definitely stay at this property again if the opportunity arose. Thank you!

House design is unique and gave us plenty of space to hang out! Bedrooms were large and really enjoyed the hot tub and bar in the basement! Great place to entertain a large group of friends!
