Immaculately clean.
The room was quite small.

Our host was Karen, who was very friendly and accommodating. She welcomed us when we arrived and took us to one of their beautifully constructed chalets at the rear of the property. The room was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean; it had a nice, powerful shower and a wonderfully soft bed; one could not ask for any more.
In the mornings, we had the option of a continental or full English breakfast, which was very tasty.
Her son James also has fabulous local knowledge and suggested that we take a mini trip to Charlestown Harbour in St. Austell, where the Poldark series was filmed. This was fabulous with the long boats in the harbour and the movie prop set.
Not to mention the hotel is only a stone’s throw from Port Beach, which is great for its views, especially the Mermaid Pools.
I look forward to another visit next summer.

A wonferful guest house. Spotlessly clean, great value for money and very well run. Karen is a really lovely host and breakfast is super. Lots of choice and overlooks the lovely garden. Feels homely and relaxed. Parking is a real bonus and the short walk into town makes it a perfect location. Would return in future

Love staying here. Have been before and will be back next Year. Karen is very welcoming.The room is very comfortable,nice shower, television, kettle. I love the parking as this is a rarity especially in Cornwall. Good WiFi signal and continental breakfast. Love the garden aswell.Lovely and quiet and it's in walking distance to the beach and amusements and shops.

Wonderful guesthouse and hosts, made us feel at home and lovely clean room. Location was fab, just 10 mins walk into Newquay town. Had an amazing 1 week stay here, will definitely be returning. Can't recommend this guesthouse enough!!

Really lovely place. Filled with kindness from the owners. Check in was easy and fast. We had two different rooms. One inside the Building one outside in a small cottage in a garden. The garden was so cute even Fish in a wooden tank. Honestly i can reccomend to anyone Family, friends, couple. Rooms was tidy and renoveted. Two breakfast options. But free breakfast option
was enough to kill first hunger.

Love that there's a parking space. Karen is really friendly and welcoming. This is our second visit and will be back again. It is in walking distance of the beach and shops and it's lovely and quiet. Had a great sleep the bed was so comfortable, didn't want to leave x

Not in walking distance for us due to health conditions. Lovely sea view on a clear day. Spotlessly clean room. Friendly host
We returned home early due to my poor health resulting in hospital admission but otherwise there nothing about the guest house we didn’t like. Poor weather during our short stay!

bathroom light was on a sensor, having diabetes I use it quite a lot which woke the wife up. breakfast was small and cheap ingredients bathroom was tiny

Great location, a short walk away from the beach and close to the town. Our room was modern and well decorated, it was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. Free on-site parking was guaranteed with the room which is essential for us. Host was friendly and inviting. If we find ourselves in Newquay again we will definitely stay again.

Everything was impeccable. Immaculate and comfortable chalet. Everything we need was there. Garden was fab too, the kids enjoyed the koi fishes. The location is spot on with short stroll to the beaches and short drive to the town. And Karen and family were the best hosts. Breakfast was amazing. She catered for our kids breakfast choices really well.
Nothing. If I am being really picky, it would be a lower mirror in the bathroom, as I like to see where I’m putting my face creams, but there is a full body mirror at the bedroom to compensate for that, so it was alright.

It was a quick weekend getaway for me, wife and my 15 month old daughter.karen - owner and hostess was so friendly and welcoming.we felt like we were at home. The room was spotless and cozy.james has done a really good job with the help of 7000+ nails updating the garden and back rooms, gave it a cozy log cabin feeling with uninterrupted wifi, no noise, Japanese themed back garden was great. Free guest parking and 24hr cctv, private side entrance, full English breakfast ( we had vegetarian English breakfast) £6 per head per night, food was amazing and reasonably priced, free continental breakfast and tea and coffee. We will definitely come here to stay if we come to Newquay, we had a really great tome. Highly recommended.

Free WiFi and a guaranteed parking space.Karen was very welcoming, lovely water features in the garden,was nice and quiet.About 20 minutes walk to the beach.Continental breakfast included.Sounds silly but I liked the different towels,better than boring white ones you usually see.
Room felt very hot even though no heating was on but I would rather be too hot than too cold.Toilet door seemed really heavy to open.
