The location is about as good as it gets - a short walk to multiple grocery stores, including an excellent market, and near restaurants and the Gourmet Ghetto. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, and there is free on-street parking. The apartment is in good shape, with lots of amenities. It's got good facilities for cooking, with a full kitchen setup, oven, stove, microwave, dishes and pots and cooking utensils provided, and a dining area and table well-suited for having company over. There's plenty of space and storage, and it comes fully furnished with tasteful mission-style furniture and little touches that make it pleasant to stay here. The hosts are gracious and welcoming. This would be a good place for a single or couple (bedroom has a queen bed) who want to spend some time in Berkeley.

I walked all over the place, daytime and nightime, and always felt comfortable and safe.
