East coast all the way! A comfortable place to call home. Exactly what was advertized. The chairs right on the ocean were an added bonus! We watched many beautiful sunsets, and plenty of lobster boat action. Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean right outside your window. Thanks Debora.

Location was optimal for getting out of the city of Halifax during reading week. Very clean with everything you need for short-term rental. Easy access ! Easy communication with owners.

We had a great few days at the cottage. Debrah have us plenty of tips for hikes and restaurants! The cottage was perfectly cozy and well maintained!

Deborah’s spot is amazing. The photos do not do it justice. Right on the water, big open windows and a bright spot. I highly recommend. Deborah was also very kind and very responsive as a host

Very comfortable home away from home with spectacular views - even with a visit from Fiona! Amazing hosts - went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Located minutes from Peggy’s cove by car or walking distance to L’Acadie restaurant, Maguire art Gallery or sea glass hunting along the shore. The beautiful sunsets from the living room, porch or seaside chairs will leave you reaching for your camera!

We had a memorable and pleasant experience at Indian Harbor. Location was fabulous for accessing scenic coastline and places of historic significance. Easy trip into/out of Halifax; enjoyed museums and the Citadel. Halifax itself is a busy city and lots of one-way streets! The property was exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated in the style of St Margaret's Bay. We had no issues; any communications with Deb were answered immediately. We would highly recommend!!

I could have stayed forever!! The views were breathtaking! Right from booking the communication was flawless. The attention to detail was second to none….anything you could possibly need or want was thought of and provided for! I can’t wait to return again and again!! Everyone we meet locally were incredibly friendly. What a beautiful slice of Heaven!! 💖

This place was absolutely lovely! From the cozy and spacious inside, to the large deck out back, to the amazing water view, to the kind neighbours who freely shared their stories with us and offered us unique experiences of feeding wild fish and discovering a private path down to the water ... we could have stayed here an entire month! This place felt like home and was the best stocked kitchen we've ever experienced in a rental place! Thank you Debora for going above and beyond in making this place feel so good to be in :)

Nous avons été enchantées par notre séjour à Indian Harbour. La maison était bien équipée et joliment décorée. L’hôtesse était charmante quand nous avions des questions. L’environnement reflétait parfaitement l’image que nous avons de la Nouvelle-Ecosse: les paysages sont sublimes et tous les gens sont extrêmement gentils. Comme bonus, il y avait un café sympathique à trois minutes de marche et un magasin de fruits de mer à moins d’un kilomètre de la maison. Ma fille a fait du jogging jusqu’à Peggy’s Cove à tous les matins. Je conseille fortement cet endroit.

We loved every moment of our 5 night stay at this very clean, comfortable and warmly decorated cottage which feels like home from the moment you enter. The setting is perfect - have your camera ready! We spotted several deer on the property early one morning. Your hosts, Debora and Rico, respond quickly to any questions you may have. They also provide a lot of extras. Be sure to check out some of the galleries along the coastal drive, and of course Peggy’s Cove. It was not easy leaving this ideal property!

You will not be disappointed if you pick this amazing place to enjoy your vacation. The whole atmosphere is inviting, warm and include breathtaking views. Thank you Deborah for a lovely place to rest and relax.

Everything from the location, to the view, to the cottages amenities, and the responsiveness of the host to inquiries and requests, made this an experience not soon forgotten. The cottage is nicely appointed, with a well equipped modern kitchen, great bathroom with some thoughtful extras on hand, for example if you left that tube of toothpaste at home etc. The main bedroom was spacious with lots of room to hang and store your items if you choose. The Living-room was cozy and comfortable with plenty of natural light. The host provides a binder with helpful information about amenities in the area, emergency numbers, as well as her contact number. Debora is easy to get a hold of and very responsive. I will miss my morning coffee on the deck, and afternoon cocktails (enjoyed your bottle of wine) watching the ocean and the beautiful sunsets. I spent a very restful 2 weeks here, and loved every moment. Thank you for providing such a lovely cottage to call home while visiting NS. I would highly recommend this Host and Accommodation.

We totally enjoyed our stay. Really, Deb has thought of just about everything one might need while away from home. We loved the location and got to enjoy a few beautiful sunsets! Deb and Rico where wonderful in dealing with a mis-hap. Their prompt action made the rest of our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend this cottage!

Fantastic location and wonderful amenities. Everything you could need. Clear concise directions and communications with the owner Debora. Cottage was tastefully and thoughtfully furnished. Sunsets were wonderful - no need to go to Peggys Cove! We loved it - the ocean was mesmerizing, be it flat calm or stormy. You can walk from the cottage down to the rocks along the shore - treasures and flotsam to be found. Would definitely recommend and hope to return.

We spent 4 relaxing nights at this little hideaway. There was a lot of fog most days and nights, which I feel added to the timelessness we experienced in this quiet little harbour. Nights and mornings all we could hear was the leaping waves and the distant sound of a groaner buoy! Deb and Rico made sure that all we could need or want during our stay was there for us. Cozy, clean and well-appointed! Thank you for those “little things” that made our stay so comfortable.

Our stay was everything we could ask for. Beautiful view of the cove and many special nautical touches. So peaceful and we managed to see the lovely sunsets. Special place and would recommend to anyone.

A very clean and well set up cottage with a view of the beautiful peaceful bay at Indian Harbour. We went to Peggy's Cove which was nice, however the spot where this cottage is much nicer and quieter. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location and beautiful views. This place was perfect for my son and I isolating for 2 weeks before moving into University. Very well appointed and super clean! We cooked every meal there and enjoyed so many incredible sunsets! Great runs and walks along the shore. Deborah is an excellent and super accommodating host! Highly recommend this property. It’s on the Lighthouse route road so great location to get to other little seaside villages and Halifax. We had to go in for 3 Covid tests and it was an easy drive.
