Wonderful place to stay in Colorado Springs proper. The home was well-kept with nice features, and the property manager was very friendly and accommodating.

Great for large group

Overall the set up of this house worked perfect for our family and the location was close to everything we wanted to do. There were 14 of us ranging in age from 16-70. The game room space in the lower level was a perfect hangout area for the young adults in our group. The hot tub was clean and the backyard was a nice extra space to spread out into. The propane grill worked great for us. They had an extra tank on hand just in case. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were roomy. There were some things that I thought could use some work. All of the interior doors had issues. Several didn’t close completely. They blamed it on the humidity, but we came from a climate with much higher humidity year round and we don’t have issues like that. I felt like it was more of a maintenance issue. The kitchen really wasn’t stocked very well for a large group. There were plenty of plates, bowls, glasses and silverware but the pans and large bowl situation was seriously lacking. We had an issue with the A/C during our stay, but they did have a service tech out the very next morning to get it working again. We were on site when the tech arrived and observed how dirty the filters & coils were in the unit. I believe there’s a lack of maintenance going on with the home in general. On the last night we realized the dryer was no longer drying our clothes and we were unable to do laundry before our departure. They seemed to do a good job with cleaning the house though.

What a wonderful place to stay with the authentic interior and comfortable accomodations. The Barn made a great start to our family mountain vacation. Would highly recommend it!

This was an amazing experience.

We came to CS for our son’s college graduation. This property had amazing space, close to campus, was well equipped and very comfortable. The owners were very responsive to our questions. We had relatives and friends with us, a total of 7 people and had ample space to spread out. We enjoyed the fun basement game area and a couple of evenings just sitting on the patio and in the hot tub. We will be recommending this place to anyone visiting the Springs!

The owner was great to work with and very accommodating! The property was beautifully decorated and the open space was perfect for our family. We would definitely stay here again on a return trip.

We got the house as a staycation for new years and it couldn’t been better. House very nice and big. The hot tub was an amazing plus. Me and my friends would be back for sure.

The house is spacious and beautiful. The downstairs was great for the whole family. We loved the ping pong table and games. The hottub was perfect for the snowy weather. We have stayed in many vrbo homes through the years. This was one of our favorite.

My family of 6 (4 adults and 2 children) had a wonderful time here! Plenty of space for everyone! The girls had a great time in the backyard and especially loved the bunk beds. The beds were comfy and they had plenty of space. Hopefully, we’ll be able to come back and stay!

Home had plenty of space for the 14 of us (5 adults, 9 teenagers) from a sleeping, relaxing, dining, entertaining perspective. It was good that all the kids could sleep and play in the big downstairs area ... large bean bags, console games, ping pong all kept them entertained when we weren't out and about. Hot tub and chairs/tables were nice to have in the back yard. As others noted, those creaky upstairs floors are noticeable, but not too bad as long as folks aren't walking around too late in the evening.
Location of the property was good, quiet neighborhood and good shade around the property. There are some bike/walking trails right next to the home which we took advantage of quite a bit. Good central location for us as we were traveling in all directions for our adventures.
The hosts were great, communicated quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. Hope they enjoyed the thank you gifts, just some souvenirs from Arkansas ... Go Hogs!

Very nice property
This property was perfect for my group of friends looking to do all of the touristy things in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. The property was clean and conveniently located to all of the things we wanted to see while we were there, and I especially loved that it is pet-friendly. The manager was easy to reach and, when we had a plumbing issue, she was also very responsive.

It worked for us!
We wanted a house that would sleep many people and allow dogs. This house did just that and for that we are thankful. The games in the basement are fun. The backyard was a nice place to relax. The kitchen was well stocked. The AC worked well.
The floors are creaky which is annoying for the people in the basement. There was a neighborhood barking dog at night. The house is set quite a ways off the beaten path, so it isn’t quick to get out of the neighborhood to the main drive.
Overall, we we’re happy.

Really close to USAFA
Our family gathered at Tanya's house for the 2022 USAFA graduation--the house was perfect for our needs. There are six bedrooms, so everyone could claim a space of their own. We also had plenty of room at the big table for family dinners. We appreciated the ping pong table the most, The neighborhood is really quiet but also located close to shopping and restaurants.

Perfect for our needs
We had a family group of 11 which included my 6 adult grandchildren. When looking for a place to stay I needed to find one that had enough twin beds to accommodate us and this one was perfect.
The 3 bathrooms were a plus. The ping pong table was a big hit as were the games for any down time. It was centrally located to all the things that we wanted to do and in a nice neighborhood. We had one inconvenient issue with the AC but it was handled as quickly and fairly as possible. Our overall experience was a positive one and I can recommend this accommodation without hesitation.

The house was very clean and in a nice, quiet cul de sac. It was relatively close to areas that we wanted to visit and was an excellent price. Tanya was great to work with and a big help to us when we had a family emergency while staying at the house.
There were a few negatives about the house. The wifi was terrible--we were never on longer than 15 minutes before we were kicked off and this happened constantly the 5 days we were there. Many of the bed/bathroom doors either wouldn't shut completely or wouldn't open all the way. The backyard needed work--it was about half dirt (with no grass) and there was a very large dead tree limb just hanging and about to drop any time.
All in all, it was worth the price and worked for our family.

I didn't stay but I paid for the stay for my parents and siblings. Feedback provided is that it could have been more cleanly and they had to purchase their own papertowels, Kleenex, wash clothes and propane because the property did not have enough. They also were unable to use the hot tub due to some unknown substance floating in it. However the owner came personally to take care of the hot tub and will reimburse for the propane.
