Tuvimos una terrible experiencia ya que solo puedes utilizar el servicio de transporte que contacta el hotel para poder salir a cualquier lugar, el cual obviamente a más caro pero lo peor es que entre empleados consiguen diferentes opciones tratando de conseguir una comisión y cuando llegan por ti empiezan a pelear entre choferes y a intimidar a los huéspedes para que se vayan con uno u otro. Esto también debe considerarse al contratar un tour porque tampoco dejarán entrar a las personas que te trasladan a menos que se haya contratado a través del hotel. El servicio de la mayoría de los empleados es el peor que he recibido son groseros y parece que les molesta hacer su trabajo ni mencionar cuando se les pide algo. Finalmente las personas que se encargan de vender la membresía del hotel son terriblemente insistentes. Recibimos llamadas diarias a la habitación. Nos abordaban en el restaurante mientras desayunábamos o comíamos y hasta en la playa trataban de convencernos de darles una cita. En general nuestra experiencia fue muy mala. Es la primera vez que nos hospedamos en un hotel de esta cadena y no lo volvería a hacer.

Serviço em geral (pouco prestativos e só atendem bem mediante gorjeta) e o cassino do complexo é muito fraco.

8 in our party. My brother in law was hospitalized for 2 days after returning home due to broken pool ladder. The shuttle came around every 30 minutes. Rediculous!!! Spa too expensive.

This is our second time in this resort, we love everything about it especially its concept about wellness.

Wondeful hotel, great option for couples and wellness retreat. We are going back in a few weeks :)

Location, drinks were good. The rooms are very comfortable.

Food, a bit repetitive, not too many options for proteins. A la carte restaurants were allegedly full for 4 days, so we couldn't get to any of them.

My experience at the hotel was extremely disappointing. The food was terrible and you coyld only use one buffet for breakfast and lunch !!! The towel was dirty, the staff was unhelpful and rude, and there were constant issues with amenities. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Beautiful landscape across the resort, having the concierge in the level was great, the spa is excellent, having a dehumidifier in the room is essential, lots of good activities in the wellness program, good variety in food, and liked the smoothie bar.

No scuba diving center in the entire resort, which is surprising and activities team could not recommend any diving center! would highly recommend using Scuba & Chill whom I contacted directly online to go diving. Doors in room need to be renovated, pool floor could be cleaner, not enough health vegetarian eating options. would be good to have a healthy wellness menu. also, to have more Yoga session in afternoon.

Not that much selection the traveling from the main bldg to the rooms take to long sometimes waiting 1/2 hours

There are a few things I liked but don’t get me wrong I do not recommend at all. The beach was nice and good location. The rooms are decent size. I liked it was adults only but you can find that many other places.

Food was absolutely horrible! We talked with a handful of people and all of the had gotten food poisoning and were sick for days. All of the restaurants you had to make reservations and the hamburger tasted gamey and weird. It was not angus beef at all. I could only eat a few bites. The breakfast was the best meal of the day because you can’t cheat someone on eggs and French toast. Having to ride this shuttle train to get back to areas of the resort was a joke waiting for that thing all the time. Our friends had to walk it which was half mile distance at least 3 times because the train didn’t come by. The alcohol was the worst. I’d recommend buying brand name bottle at the duty free shop when you arrive. The bed was hard and very uncomfortable. If you stayed in one of the poolside/beach area rooms which we did, they stalked you to try and get you into a sales pitch for buying more vacations with them. Also the room was described as oceanfront or ocean view and NONE of the rooms are. You can see a sliver of the ocean. All of them are pool view. We paid good money for our vacation only to find out if you wanted better food, nightly entertainment you had to pay $80 per person per day which they call THE LEVEL. Total joke. I do not recommend at all.

The only thing we liked was the pool.

The room was extremely tired, and water was leaking from the bathroom; most staff don't bother your comfort. We paid €550 extra to get upgraded to LEVEL, which is supposed to be premium, but it was a real disappointment. The food is not that crash got either. The waiter will keep pushing you to buy bottles of wine every though we have paid for everything inclusiveness.

Beautiful property right next to the beach. The lobby decor is on point and the main buffet is right by the water, with stunning views. The pools are really nice and the spa is also gorgeous. The staff is friendly and quite helpful. After an excursion, we dropped off some people in other resorts, and Melia was definitely the best looking one of all the resorts we got to see in the area.

While the resort can easily be rated with 5 stars, the rooms are more like 3. Our door wasn’t straight, leaving some open area between the frame and the actual door, which did let a few mosquitos in our room during our stay -and also had trouble opening it a couple of times. The bathroom is small and there isn’t much room to hang towels or basically anything. It looks outdated. Also the food… they have 3 a la carte options which were pretty good, but the buffets get old super fast. There isn’t much variation from day to day, and they don’t have tons of options in general -specially if you can’t have seafood. We ended up eating rice and beans pretty much every single time.

Everything! The place is absolutely gorgeous...tastefully decorated and meticulously clean. The grounds are spacious and beautifully landscaped. The beach is a postcard shade of aquamarine and the beach is soft white powder. It is staffed by well mannered people that genuinely want to do a good job. There are lots and lots of staff all working to make the place amazing. There are plenty of food options...something for everyone. About 7 restaurants ( we stayed in the Level) . You contact your concierge to make dinner reservations. Thank you Eddy Somba for taking care of all our needs. If you need medical attention...we saw a care center on the premises. We just needed some stomach medicine which is available in the gift shops but Eddy went out of the resort and got us something in a pharmacy. The bars and restaurants are all beautiful. I recommend staying near the beach and then taking the golf cart shuttle service to the front at night for the nightly entertainment...dj and dancing. Even if you don't like dancing, you can sit in the beautiful outdoor lounge seats and drink. Housekeeping comes twice daily! They clean the room during the day while you are at the pool/beach then they tidy up again during evening while you are dining. They would turn our sheets down and leave chocolate . They also refill your mini fridge and snacks. We would definitely return.

Just a recommendation to put a cash machine near the pool area. There is one in the front near the casino but it is very far away if you stay by the beach. Note that it gives you pesos not US dollars. Bring cash to buy souvenirs from vendors at beach. Another warning...my husband and I both got diarrhea. We think it was maybe from drinking the water at the restaurants or brushing our teeth using tap water. Next time we will stick with the cartons of water in the mini fridge.

The scenery was beautiful with nice touches to enhance a relaxing atmosphere. I enjoyed the walk to my room and stoped to take pictures.

upon check in we had to wait about 4 hours even when i called ahead of time to request an early check in. I was told my room would be ready at 4pm. we want back to the lobby after 4 and it still wasn’t ready. As we waited the staff asked us which type of room we booked. i was annoyed at the fact that my room wasn’t ready and they weren’t aware of which room i booked..We kept having issues getting in our room due to the keys resetting. lastly, our room was leaking from the a/c vents causing me to slip and bruise my legs.

This place has meet everything that I expected and more.
