Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr gut, man kann das Stadtzentrum problemlos zu Fuß erreichen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind groß, man kann komfortabel mit mehreren Leuten unterkommen.

Die Unterkunft verfügt - anders als bei Booking.com angegeben - NICHT über eigene Parkplätze. Es stehen theoretisch kostenfrei Parkplätze in den umliegenden Straßen zur Verfügung. Um diese zu finden wird vom Vermieter eine digitale Karte bereitgestellt. Jedoch sind die meisten hier dargestellten Parklätze nicht vorhanden. Die wenigen die zu finden waren, waren - wie sollte es anders sein - bereits belegt.

Zentral gelegen

Es war sehr unsauber, in den Ecken lag richtig Dreck, hier wurde sicher länger nicht mehr geputzt, so sieht es nichtmal aus wenn zwei Wochen nicht gesaugt wurde. Am zweiten Tag wollten wir einen Kaffee in der vorhandenen Kaffeemaschine kochen, aus der uns dann eine Kakerlake entgegen kam. Wir haben uns dann mit dem Anbieter in Verbindung gesetzt und durften dann (nachdem wir noch zwei weitere Kakerlaken haben rumlaufen sehen) das Apartment wechseln können. Dieses lag eine Etage höher. Hier war es nicht wirklich sauberer, die Toilette war verstopft und es lag noch Toilettenpapier vom Vormieter drin, die Dusche war dreckiger als im vorherigen Apartment, hier wurde auch lange nicht mehr ordentlich geputzt, denn auch in der Dusche lief das Wasser nicht ab, das wäre ja sonst mal aufgefallen, auch optisch nicht gerade einladend. Naja, zumindest augenscheinlich keine Mitbewohner… Wir haben nochmal den Vermieter kontaktiert, der Abends dann vorbeikam und versprach am nächsten Tag nochmal Abflussreiniger vorbeizubringen, das ist ohne Abmeldung nicht passiert. Dieser Urlaub war also garnicht erholsam, weil man sich einfach unwohl gefühlt hat (gerade mit kleinem Baby!) und immer wieder jemanden in „seiner Wohnung“ stehen gehabt hat. Und dann für den Preis… Auf die Frage, ob man uns finanziell entgegenkommt kam noch die Antwort, dass es weitergeleitet wird ans Management, jetzt wo wir raus sind, gibt es nichtmal mehr eine Antwort.

We arrived Friday afternoon, but could not enter the apartment. We called the landlord several times and when he picked up he said that we had not signed the agreement. I sent a picture illustrating that I had signed the agreement in April. Still they would not send us the code to the door. We waited (with three children) for two hours on the stairs of the building. In the end we had to find another hotel, which cost us another 400 dollars. The day after we finally got the code to the door and got in. The apartment was spacious, but very dirty with long black hair all over the floor. There was not much kitchen supply (for example only 3 glasses). We found trash from previous guests (for example a pizza box in the oven). The shower was a nightmare. I would not recommend this place to families, however for a group of friends etc it could perhaps work. Just be sure to get the codes to the door before you arrive.

The location was great. The area around the apartment was nice and felt safe on the streets. The apartment itself was well equipped, large rooms and living area. The price was very good for the size.

Communication was very poor and delayed by the management company. We asked for a crib/pack-n-play and they took 24 hours to get to us, and even then it was a bassinet and too small for our baby/toddler. The description said there was free parking, but it was all street parking that was free from 8pm to 8am or something like that. So we had to move the car around the first day and then finally paid for a garage parking because it was such a pain.
