This place is amazing! The views of the lake are spectacular. The house is well equipped with everything you might need. Communication with the host is flawless.

Our family had the most amazing time and we loved everything about this house!! From the welcoming and warmth of the house, to the details of supplies provided, we truly felt at home! The VIEWS and surrounding neighborhood was beyond our expectations! We had so much fun on the dock, playing in the water and enjoying the provided water toys! This will absolutely become our new annual family vacation home away from home! The hosts were the best! Supportive, caring and incredible communication! Loved it all! My family and I had the most amazing stay at Michelle’s house on the lake! The views are heavenly and you never want to leave. We stayed five nights and can’t wait to go back! The house is super spacious, you never feel on top of each other, even with eight people staying there. The kitchen is well equipped and it’s the perfect amount of feeling secluded but then also close enough to South Lake Tahoe if you do want to go there. Can’t say enough good things about the entire process from booking to checking-in, it was all wonderful. And the VIEWS. Still can’t get over them! Thank you, Michelle!!

We had such a great weekend at this house. Michelle was very communicative with us the whole weekend and made sure we knew what all the house had to offer. I brought my family and everyone raved about the experience at the house. We will definitely be going back in the future!

We stayed for our anniversary. The house was just as described. View was spectacular, morning, noon and night!

We came out to Reno for our daughters wedding. Friends from New Zealand flew out and came to stay with us. Our daughter and her fiance came over to have their first look photo on the dock and it was absolutely magical. The home is beautiful it has everything you could want and more. Michelle, the owner, was extremely attentive and quick with a response. Highly recommend this location to everyone that wants a piece of paradise.

Huge house, more stairs than I prefer. Of course I just celebrated my 70th Plenty of space for everyone and the view! Just a wonderful stay. One last thought, you don't need for anything, very well stocked all the amenities. Would definitely stay again!

Have you ever wished you could take all the comforts of your own home on vacation with you? Staying at Villa de Lago is just like doing that. Michelle has thought of everything. The view is an obvious selling point but Michelle is the true gem. She was responsive and wanted to make sure our stay was nothing but amazing. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a great stay. The home is beautiful with a well equipped kitchen and living room. One of the downstairs bedrooms is very noisy, though, it has some sort of water heater / pump running constantly next door.

We spent an entire week with our son(17) and 5 of his friends and our 2 dogs (yep thats a lot) and it was amazing. Everything worked out super well. btw the pics dont do justice. The house is way more awesome incl the decor. Breathtaking views… soak in the sunset while standing on the private dock or have dinner on the patio overlooking the lake Very private neighborhood gives the feeling of seclusion but yet close to everything. Also if you are bringing and EV there is 240V point for the dryer in the garage. Michelle (the host) is very professional and responsive. On the day of our departure there was a heavy snow storm and road conditions were unsafe to travel. She quickly helped us extend our stay by a day at a discounted rate. All around 5 stars

This is our third visit to the home and as usual angelic and enjoyed our time immensely. Love this place we will continue to come back.

So happy we finally got to stay at Villa De Lago. Had to reschedule our stay in late summer 2021 due to heavy smoke from Caldor fire. Michelle and Chad were very accommodating in working with us to reschedule. When we arrived August 2022, I knew from the minute we walked in and saw the amazing view of the lake, that we had found the perfect place to stay. Once we walked out onto the deck, we decided then and there that no restaurant could match that view so we were eating in every night! Everything we needed or could have wanted was there. And Michelle and Chad...hands down the most responsive and gracious hosts. Only regret is that we didn't get to stay longer.

Everything about this trip exceeded my expectations. Michelle was so helpful from booking to check out and everything in between. She offered tons of great suggestions for things to do, restaurants, etc during our stay...none of which we really needed because the house was SO amazing we could have spent every day there and been more than content. Michelle had a lovely basket of goodies for us upon arrival. It had so much in it we weren't able to finish it all before we had to leave. The house was immaculate from top to bottom. We enjoyed the paddle boards and kayak provided at the house, exploring the area and taking in the incredible views. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the back porch as well. My boyfriend and I went on a hike up Mt. Tallac on Saturday morning (TOUGH -but well worth it!) where he proposed at the top overlooking all of South Lake Tahoe. Needless to say it will be a trip I never forget. The beauty of the scenery in South Lake Tahoe, coupled with the luxurious accommodation and great company made for an unforgettable dream vacation. What was originally just a bucket list trip for us will surely become a regular trip we make. Thanks Michelle for making it so great!!!

We had an amazing 4 day long weekend at this fabulous home in the most idyllic setting. Rain or shine, this home has everything to make for a wonderful time. Our family was visiting to celebrate milestone birthdays and Michelle was the perfect Host. From answering questions about the house or making recommendations for the area, Michelle was always readily available. From playing pool, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, going out on a paddle board or kayak, or just relaxing in the comfortable living room or expansive deck; this self-contained “resort” home is the perfect place for your Lake Tahoe vacation. We can’t wait to return!

This place was amazing! Very private and the listing was very accurate as to what was available and expected. I would go back in heart beat and Michelle was very responsive to every question at all hours day or night. I would recommend this spot to anyone who is looking for a beautiful private waterfront location!

The house was perfect with all the amenities we needed and the service response from the owners was great!! And an absolutely stunning view!! We would choose this again if we return to Tahoe. Beautiful place!!

The view of the lake and snow covered mountains were well worth it, you won’t be disappointed. Be sure to check in first and see the kitchen situation as that will cut down on the groceries and supplies you will need to buy or bring with you. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Very relaxing environment.

The evening sunsets were extraordinary! The home is cozy & spacious. Pool table was fun, as was the huge 2 person shower and hot tub with a lake view! We had a wonderful time!

Just finished a week long stay. The view from the home is simply incredible! check in was very easy and the house was clean. I would suggest an upgrade to the matresses in all bedrooms. Other than that I enjoyed the stay.

This is our second time to stay here during our family ski trip. The property is gorgeous with great amenities.

This property is everything described and more. The property manager was accessible & helpful when I needed information. Upon entering the home I could smell the freshness of a house that had been thoroughly cleaned & sanitized., the kitchen was well organized and well stocked with anything you would need for entertaining. The linens and towels were plentiful , clean and luxurious , jacuzzi instructions were easy to understand and as we soaked we were treated to that amazing vista of Lake Tahoe. We spent many happy hours playing pool upstairs with our granddaughter. There was so many options for things to do for all of us we never left the house during our 3 day stay! Hopefully we will be able to visit again in the summer time to take advantage of playing on the water.

This house is everything it says it is! We stayed for a week and the property has the perfect location. Close to all the slopes and towns, grocery stores, gas, restaurants, casinos, you name it and it's right there. The views from every room in the home were breathtaking. You could hear the water from the decks. Very relaxing and perfect!

OMG! Villa De Lago is an Extraordinary Home with Breathtaking views of the Lake! It is Warm, Cozy, Bright and Super Clean and has a fully stocked Dream Kitchen for any Cook! The Kitchen had everything I needed to use to bake pies, cakes and cookies for Christmas! The spice drawer has everything you'll ever need to make a delicious meal. My family and I chose this house for our very first Christmas in the snow. It was one of the Best decisions we ever made! We happened to be there during the record breaking snow storm of the last fifty years! Michelle had a beautifully decorated Christmas Tree by the Fireplace when we arrived which really made it feel like home! We had such a memorable and exciting time here and did not want to leave. The Master bedroom and bath has such an amazing views and privacy while soaking in the bath tub. Love It! My Family had so much fun playing pool and taking in the views of the Lake from the Loft area, Simply Amazing! We can't wait to come back during the Summer time! Michelle and her husband are two of the nicest people you'll ever come in contact with while hosting their home. They are really down to earth and very helpful with any needs you may have and yet very professional. We are all so very Blessed and Thankful that Michelle is Gracious enough to share her Wonderful home with us! If you can Appreciate and Respect a Beautiful home with Fascinating Lake views and all that comes with it such as this one, then this is the home for you. Enjoy!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this beautiful home on the central shore of Lake Tahoe. Located just 15 minutes from Southlake and 20 minutes from the North Shore, location was ideal for our five night mini vacation in Lake Tahoe. The home is beautiful, filled with eclectic art and furniture pieces. The fireplace is the focal point of the large great room, with a comfortable leather sofa that would easily sit five or six adults.

So many different nooks for private time or visiting. Gorgeous view that is worth it all. We will be back again. Thank you
