An extremely comfortable and well equipped apartment a short stroll from the city centre and the cricket

Great location, and everything you need is there.

The location is great! Really close to many cafes, bars and shops in the city centre (within 10-15 min walk) yet quiet and peaceful for a good night sleep. The bedroom is a bit small but the living area and kitchen are roomy and have everything you need. We loved that there were a good number of windows to cool down the flat in the evening as there is not A/C.

Nothing really, I would only add A/C to make this place even better! We couldn’t use the deck because it needs to be fixed, but looks like a great spot to have dinner/breakfast. Just be aware there are some steps up to the flat and the staircase is a bit steep and narrow if you have lots of luggage. Totally manageable tho!

Location

The apartment had everything we required for a week's stay inc good cooking facilities, a large fridge, TV, wifi, washing machine etc. Good hot shower and water pressure. Some basic pantry supplies were left by our hosts, which was very welcome over the Christmas period and, some lovely fresh lillies greeted up on arrival. The bedroom was a on the small side and somewhat awkward to manouevre around as the bed is almost against one wall but was a welcome place to relax on hot afternoons, as the sun comes directly into the lounge area in summer and is very hot. Unfortunatley, the back balcony was out of action while we were visiting. We needed to contact our hosts and they were very responsive to our request. This apartment was indeed on the very edge of the city. We walked down into the city each day but caught a bus back in the afternoon. You do need to be aware that Wellington is very hilly and the apartment is up a steep hill. Overall, this was a convenient stay for us rather than a sterile serviced apartment in the CBD.

A few more instructions re: closest supermarket, how rubbish collection works etc. A microwave proof container would be helpful.

a little dangerous at the top of the stairs with no hand rail and bedroom was very small so hard to manoeuvre around the bed.

This place was a lovely home away from home for a few days. We'll equipped kitchen, good location, awesome shower, fab to have washing machine, lovely people to deal with. It was nice that there were bits of breakfast things to use and, there was even a packet of biscuits. Good set up with TV and chargers etc.

Shame we couldn't use the little terrace. While the pillows are nice and fluffy and great for reading, some thinner pillows would have been good for sleeping. Price felt a little steep, but might just be the going rate. I would def stay again!

Close to CBD, spacious, great decor and nice touches with pantry items

Great location with walking distance to the city. Clean and well appointed though we we mainly out for most of our stay. Shower had great water pressure.

On arrival - no bed linen was available for the sofa bed - was rectified once we were able to contact the host. Would not recommend sleeping on the sofa bed as very uncomfortable. Difficult to heat the entire space especially the back bedroom, which is very tiny. Informed the host about the broken lid on the electric kettle and never received a reply. Guttering above the entrance door is blocked with debris and plants causing the rain to overflow like a waterfall and disturbing our sleep.

Lovely place to stay - a home away from home with everything you need and a fantastic vibe. Close to town and many great restaurants.

The only thing they could change is the comfort of the couch bed. It was not comfortable at all

Great location and facilities - we appreciated the fresh flowers, fruit bowl, coffee and breakfast supplies. The place was very clean.

We would recommend this property for two guests rather than three, as the sofa bed is not comfortable. Additionally, we would recommend bringing extra towels if staying longer than a night or two.

A stylish and sunny apartment with views, good art and books, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable chairs, in a great location. Unexpected extras such a fruit bowl, teas, breakfast cereals, etc.

A very well appointed property. Clever use of space. Great location - quiet and close to town.

Nifty space. Nice location on city fringe. Most excellent were the little touches on arrival, they go a long way.

Was roomy and quiet. Good location close to what I needed.

Had issues with the water when I arrived but it was sorted quickly with no further problems. Bed was comfortable enough but with a good topper would be way better.

The location was good. There was milk, cereals, coffee, chocolates and fresh flowers which was nice. Lots of leads for phone charging which was cool and Netflix was a bonus for the sleepless nights.

The fold out couch used as 2nd bed for stay was incredibly uncomfortable. Would not recommend as suitable for that purpose. Couldve done with extra towels (4 provided) as had to wash daily and try and get dry on old rack in inclement Wellington weather. The stairs are quite treacherous and supervision is needed for young kids. Lastly, there was a water leak outside apartment which we waded through every time entering and leaving was a bit mucky.

The pull out bed could do with a topper. Having to walk through water to get to the door.
