This apartment has it all. Perfectly and thoughtfully appointed with all the extras (laundry, ice filter pitcher wonderfully stocked kitchen , beach towels and more) Excellent location close to everything. Owner excellent communication~ even thru check out..all taken care of. Enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home.

You can’t beat this location. A few blocks from beach and state street. Comfortably sleeps 4, lots of space. We needed to open the window to air things out and many of the screens are loose and dirty. That was our only complaint.

Great location and quiet. We enjoyed our stay. Only thing missing was some cooking oil and a coffee bean grinder but everything else was great.

Ian is a wonderful host. This is a very lovingly maintained and thoughtful home. Very comfortable and so easy to walk to the best parts of Santa Barbara. Really appreciated all the tips on restaurants. Great communication by Ian. Easy check-in and check out. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We came to Santa Barbara for a college visit with our son and found this place at the last minute. It was perfect for our family of 3. Though an older home, all the modern conveniences you need are available and function well. The place has both heat and AC which is a rarity in the area. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had the basics that you would need to cook a meal. Ian was very responsive and easy to get a hold of with any questions. We love staying in West Beach when we come to Santa Barbara and would definitely consider staying here again.

This property is very conveniently located within walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. Great recreation path along the beach for walking and bikes. The restaurants in the area are very good and also within walking distance. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful.

Great location in Santa Barbara. Nice place to stay, with some minor issues. Not really setup for cooking and eating-in (minimal glasses, cookware etc). Things were a bit worn-out, but clean and reasonably well-maintained otherwise. We were there during a torrential rainstorm, and some minor issues with water coming in through one of the bedroom windows (streaming off the roof). Overall, we'd stay here again. Great location. No surprises.

We had a wonderful stay in Santa Barbara. The home is the upper floor of a duplex that is in a great area that is walkable to the harbour and all the shops and restaurants on State St. The house was great and spacious. The kitchen was full of amenities. We had one issue which the owner resolved immediately and to our satisfaction. I would stay here again.

The place was perfect for 4 adults and an infant. Plenty of room to spread out. Perfect location to enjoy downtown Santa Barbara.

The house is walking distance from the restaurants and the beach. It was super clean and had everything we need. Ian gave us all the information for the check in and out, parking and was really nice asking if we need a crib for our younger kid. We definitely will be back and recommend Ian’s house to stay in Santa Barbara.

Cute vintage style house with all necessary updates done. We were very happy about all the different coffee making options! French press, coffee pot, expresso machine and even a milk frother!! Beds were comfortable. It was really nice to not be required to unmake the beds etc! We would definitely stay again.

The location is fantastic. Walking distance to everything including the AMTRAK station.
The house was clean and well stocked. We did not cook however if someone wanted to the kitchen would have anything you would need.
The beds are super comfortable!

We had a great stay at this place. The house was very comfortable and well decorated. The beds were comfortable. We could hear the train whistle (actually enjoyed that noise), but otherwise it was totally quiet. Ian was accommodating about letting us store the bikes that we rented in the garage. The only issues that we had were that the ceiling fans/lights in both bedrooms turned on automatically a couple of times. I'm not sure if the remote just needs new batteries or what. Also, we couldn't figure out how to get the blue ray remote to work. We didn't contact Ian about this because we didn't try it until the morning of checkout. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay. We'll be back!

Perfect location close to the beach and State street, literally less than 5 minute's walk. The apartment was impeccably clean. The owner responded immediately to a couple of small questions we had. Offstreet parking was much appreciated, so close to the downtown area.

The unit is in a great location (three blocks from State Street and two from the beach) but is on a very quiet block. The living and dining rooms are light filled during the day and the beds are quite comfortable. The bathroom is a little small but the other rooms are spacious. Woulld stay there again in the future!

We loved our stay! Was very homey, well equipped stay. The unit has such great character to it!
We walked to dinner both nights and came back to unit and had a fire in the fireplace and a bottle of Wine. Great ambiance!

A nice two room one bath (upstairs) duplex. A authentic Santa Barbara style. Nicely decorated with a comfortable living room and dining room. Great location to walk to State Street and the Funk Zone. A upscale pet friendly experience.

Everything was perfect. The only thing was the cleaner cleaned the carpet and it was damp the rest of the weekend leaving a horrible smell in one or the rooms.

Cute house in a nice neighborhood, about a four minute walk to the Harbour and West Beach, and about a four minute walk in the other direction to a cute part of State Street (State Street is very long and lined with great shops and restaurants. A big section is for pedestrians only, a longish walk or short drive away). The living room furniture is different from the photo, more casual. Kitchen has been recently renovated. Beds were comfy. It had a nice retro feel with the painted tiles, creaky wood floors and crystal door knobs. But parts of the house needed attention (eg. pet-stained carpet in the main bedroom). Many coffee makers, but BYO coffee.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The condo gave us just the space we needed. There were a few items that need some TLC but overall we were very happy.

The property is as advertised and just a few minutes walk to the beach. It has everything you need to relax and enjoy yourself. Well-equipped kitchen, even with espresso machine. Ian is a perfect host, very accurate and proactive and gave detailed instructions upfront, we did not have any single question.

Perfect Location!
We were in Santa Barbara for a wedding and couldn't have enjoyed the weekend more. We loved the location of this property. We walked everywhere - beach, market, lunch and dinner. Ian was great at communicating and check-in and check-out were seamless. We would definitely recommend staying here on your next visit to Santa Barbara.

Great location and all the amenities we needed for a fun weekend. Our son took the train from UCIrvine and the rest of us were coming by car from Northern CA. Everything was so convenient, the beds were comfortable and it was perfect for our family of four. Good weather too!
