The host was very welcoming and provided us with lots of great suggestions on where to eat in the Kandy area.
The room and bathroom facilities were exceptionally clean and overall the hostel is positioned in a great location, only a 10 min walk from the station and 15 mins walk from Kandy Lake

I extended my stay here twice because I liked the kind and caring owners, the cleanliness of all rooms (bedroom and bathroom) and the nice rooftop where I would spend the hottest time of the day and also the evenings.
Everyone in this family - father, mother and son - are giving their best to make the guests feel comfortable. Many times I was offered tea and even sri lankan food which was always homemade and very delicious.
The location is also great. I could walk everywhere by foot. The bus and the train stations are very close. And even though the hostel is on a main road the rooms are quiet, so you can have an undisturbed sleep. The beds are comfortable and the sheets nice and clean.
The rooms do not have any air conditioner but it felt never too hot. I even didn't need the fans.
I had a great stay and can highly recommend this hostel!

Central location, very safe feeling with a lovely family who even shared their local breakfast with me. Cleanest hostel I have EVER
been to. Big lockers to keep your things. Family is extremely helpful with transport, laundry, travel tips.
The rooftop area could be a little more organized.

Location was amazing, very central to everything. Hosts were very caring and helpful, always suggesting things to see or do and helped me with catching the train. Very clean and professionally run hostel

Perfectly, amazingly clean. Hot shower. Central location. Lovely family who helps alot, they had my laundry done for me and gave travel tips. Also shared their lovely local breakfast with me. Really great to have a locker and a lock in your dorm.

I just stayed one night before taking the train to Ella. The dorm room was well equipped (locker, towel) and clean. Bathroom was also nice and clean. Nothing to complain about (:
The host helped me find a laundry that would wash my clothes the same day. It worked out - I am very grateful for his help!
Location is quite close to the Railway and Bus Station as well as to the City Centre. However, it is not as close as I would have thought on the maps, as you can't walk directly through/between the buidlings. You have to take the big roads, which takes you about 10-15min to the railway station (:

the hosts are really friendly and helpful. they helped me a lot with the transport and carried my heavy bag up the stairs. You immediately feel welcome and nothing is too much to ask. the room and the bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable
I just stayed one night so for me there was nothing to complain . would be nice if there is a watercooker available in the common area ( now you can just ask the host and he will get the water for you ) and the common area is now downstairs in the hallway so I preferred to stay in my room . the host told me they want to make a nice place on the rooftop so for sure there is more coming

The location is 👍 walking distance to the main street, the train station, and bus terminal. It's in an alley so it's quiet in the night. Room and bathroom is very clean of course, plus the bed is so comfortable, the sheet even smells nice 🥰 I actually came back 2nd time 😄 felt like home. Thank you boss 🙏

It is a small hostel located very close to the train and bus station. It is a very nice family, ideal for backpackers

Perfect location, near the train station and just a few minutes away from the city. The owners were really nice and helpful as well. They also had a nice rooftop with a pretty view.

The gueshouse is clean and close to center, bus and train station. The owner is so kind. Highly recommend.
It would be better if the dorm is on lower floors but with a such great price it’s nothing to complain.

Extremely warm hosts. They made sure I was comfortable with a smile on their face. Always willing to help you. It's a little walk away from all main attractions. Just next to the railway station.
