Communication with the host was realy nice and easy going. Great caring person and wants to make your vacation optimal for you.

The cabin‘s position is very secluded, and lies in the countryside in the Borgarnes region. It is well equipped and there are lots of things to see and to do in the area around; it is also a perfect stop after arrival and before traveling north or westwards. The private hot tub is a huge plus, it is easy to handle and comes with a perfect views of the night sky - and northern lights if it’s the right time of year! Due to extreme cold one water pipe froze during my stay - and the hosts directly reacted and solved the issue - wonderful friendly service, thanks again!

Easy check-in with clear directions for a stay on short notice. The host even reached out to make sure we knew about the Northern Lights happening! Space was clean, neat, and comfortable.

This is a beautiful cottage. Very spacious and has all the amenities needed for a great stay. Unfortunately, due to the weather the hot tub was not used but it was ready and available for us. The lounge space was really nice to relax in, my only disappointment is only staying one night in this gorgeous place.

A cute little cabin in a very peaceful area. The cabin was clean, however the décor was a little dated, but everything worked as expected. It's a compact space so would be a challenge for more than two people. As we found with almost every place we stayed in, it was very hot on arrival, however soon cooled down once we opened up the windows. The hot tub was great to use after a long day exploring. The area has some great geothermal features nearby and two of the nicest waterfalls (Hraunfossar and Barnafossar) in Iceland just down the road.

The tv did not work but it didn't cause any trouble for us. The knives were blunt and hard to cut food with.

This was a very nice cottage a little off the beaten path. A perfect stop to rest and relax. The hot tub was nice to jump into after a long drive. We used the grill to make dinner and found no issues navigating around the kitchen. Overall a very comfortable stay near the end of our road trip.

Quite spacious and warmly decorated. The best part was the hot tub, which was quite large and already warm and ready to use on arrival. Master bed was comfy. There is not much light around, so I assume you would be able to see the Northern lights from the hot tub even, but unfortunately it was cloudy when I was there.

The facilities were a bit dated with very basic cooking equipment. Dishes were not always clean, so I think this depends on who stayed there before you.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage and it was so lovely. Was bit tricky to get there, but the host has emailed us with precise directions so made our lifes hella easier (don't rely on booking.com's address!) Its fully secluded and far away from civilisation. Its 10 mins drive to a really beautiful waterfall I'd highly recommend visiting - probably wouldn't seen it if we didn't stay here. Its a comfy, but small cottage. Can cook all meals, has a comfy living room/kitchen area. Tea, coffee, pasta etc. were included which was nice. Hot tub was working well - so worth it!

Bedrooms were extremely small, my 2 luggage didn't fit in a room so had to keep it in a living room. Same goes for the bathroom - extremely small. Wish that fences around hot tub were bit lower - we couldn't enjoy the beautiful scenery that we were surrounded by and couldn't take any pics

Beautiful and cozy cabin; we jumped in the hot tub right away when we arrived at night! The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was perfect to make breakfast; we even found a waffle-maker to use! There was a coffeemaker also which was great.(-: This is a fun cabin for two couples or a small family! The living/dining room was also very cozy and there was a porch for warmer weather days!

Some dishes hadn’t been left cleaned well The hot tub water was SUPER hot, hard to complain about that we just couldn’t handle it for very long (-:

Quiet nice place. Cozy little cottage for 4 of us ( 2 adults and 2 children). Nice location close to hraunfoss og barnafoss. The hvítá nearby is a pleasant location to sit enjoy nature. Information brochure and map are available in the cottage.

Water from the hot tub was burning hot and it took us a while to understand how the change the temperature because there are no infos on how to.

Cabin and furnishings a little bit tired. Hot tub was empty on arrival which was disappointing however managed to get it filled and we enjoyed using it.

We spent 4 days during Easter. The location is amazing, next to the river and view to the mountains. The hot tub and barbecue facilities are a plus. Nice big terrace and the cottage itself very comfy, with a smart tv, wi-fi and all you can need. Super nice hosts, we'll definitely come back.
