Beautiful well cared for property. The pool was perfect and we loved the hot tub on the roof as well. Very quiet, peaceful area. Enjoyed eating at the many local places such as Sol Cafe, Tipsey Lobster, the swim up bar just 3 doors down. Our care taker Victor and his wife for stellar, always available and willing to answer any questions! For some of us this was our 4th trip to San Pedro, and we will be back!

The property managers made us feel like family. Everything was perfect for two families with four children. I can’t say enough good things about Randy and his crew.

Our group of 6 friends loved our stay at Stella Di Mare! First and foremost, Victor and Naomi, the caretakers, made us feel at home, not just in a rental house. I can not praise them enough, truly caring and wonderful people, with some great stories! The house is as advertised, it actually looks like the photos! Perfect size for our group, with room to spare. We liked the location, close enough to town for bars and restaurants, but private enough if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of San Pedro. The owner, Randy, was quick to respond to our abundant (haha) questions. Definitely have Victor arrange golf cart rental for you. The price was lower than what we saw in town and they were delivered to the house and waiting when we arrived.

Amazing communication and property. The hosts, caretaker, and his wife, were amazing! It felt like they really looked out for us on our stay. Not to mention, it's a beautiful property!

The property is great. The AC works great, the pool is maintained and great. Victor and Naomi the caretakers are wonderful. Belize: bring LOTS of cash for tips, they take US dollars. The roads are dirt and rough, the town is poor, and they have one kind of beer which isn't my favorite. Summary: if you're just staying at the house it will be plush and relaxing, going into town...meh. If we ever go to Belize again I would stay here, we're not going to Belize again.

Property was amazing, hosts were amazing, pool is the size of a resort swimming pool. Our 3rd time staying in San Pedro and not sure how we could ever top this stay.

The property is stunning! The pool is large and well taken care of. Beds are great. The location is 20 minutes to town or secret beach. There is a lot to explore going North.too. The care keepers are super nice people . Naomi cleans the house 6 days aweek. It felt like our private resort.

We traveled here with two family groups. The house was great for two families and we had more than enough space for 4 adults and 5 children. The pool was a great retreat. The grounds and house were kept very clean. It is only about a 15 minute golf cart trip to downtown, but it is an easy drive. There are great restaurants very close (less than a 5 minute drive). We were very happy with our stay, and would recommend it.

We just got back from a week stay at Villa Stella Di Mare and it was wonderful! We were a group of 4 adults and 2 teens from NYC and DC. We originally looked at resorts and we are so glad we stayed here instead. The house, pool and grounds were exactly as described. It was the perfect amount of space for our group and we loved the traditional style. Victor and Noemi were onsite and made our stay very smooth. Fishing and snorkel charters picked us up right from the dock. We had some windy days when our boat charter was cancelled however, we were in the perfect location to take golf carts to Secret Beach. Having the pool with a beautiful view was also fabulous, especially with kids. Overall it was a fantastic stay! Restaurant recommendations very nearby - Aji, Tipsy Lobster & Truck Stop. Maruba was our favorite spot on Secret Beach.

Stella di Mare was wonderful! The location north of town was not too far back to town or to Secret Beach; lots of restaurants nearby; beautiful property; on the beach; private pool; plenty of room for all to spread out and enjoy. Noemi and Viktor (caretakers) were awesome! They were helpful and accommodating and Viktor cracked coconuts for us and taught us about the different varieties. Noemi cooked a spectacular authentic dinner for us one night! Would highly recommend!

We had a nice stay at Villa Stella di Mare. We had a couple minor glitches but Victor and Noemi (house managers) did their best to accommodate our every need. The house is a great option if you are not interested in staying in a resort. It is next door to a couple resorts that you can dine at and use the pool if you are looking for a change of scenery. Otherwise, very private and relaxing.

My family stayed here for a week, our group included a few adults and 4 teenagers. This house provided plenty of space for all of us ... plenty of sleeping arrangements, bathrooms, common area space, and wonderful outdoor areas to enjoy. The hosts Victor and Noemi were very kind, knowledgeable and helpful during our stay. We loved being able to wake up and look out at the ocean and the palm trees, and also enjoy the cool pool on a hot afternoon. Also, this was our first trip to Belize, so we weren't sure where on Ambergris Caye would be the best location to stay .... well we made the right call. I had originally thought that we might want to be downtown, but this was hands-down the best location we could have had. It is private and quiet, but still close to many great restaurants and bars and a quick golf cart ride from our favorite spot, Secret Beach. We were close enough to downtown San Pedro to easily visit, but mostly enjoyed our time closer to the house. I would highly recommend this home for any family or group of friends visiting Belize!

Very clean, well furnished, AC works great, pool is large and well kept, beautiful beachfront view. Daily caretakers pleasant, reliable and efficient. Negative- the roads in San Pedro are terrible. Potholed, bumpy and sometimes waterlogged. Obviously a problem of the government and not the rental owners. Golf carts are plentiful and make the roads navigable.

This is one of the best stays we had as family on a vacation - the property is as described on the listing - right on the ocean with awesome pool, yard & caretakers...Victor & Naomi make your stay so much easy and comfortable, they become like family with their friendly dogs....this is one of the biggest green yards I've stayed in with so many trees and lush green setting right on the ocean...the pool is massive with nice pool chairs around....the pier is an awesome feature where you hang around early morning or night to grab coffee or late night drink....all our amazing snorkeling trips started and ended at our private pier with our tour operator picking us at the pier...with a golf cart, you can cruise the entire island including the beautiful secret beach which is 20 mnts on the cart from this property....you do have to get used to sea weed odor on the island as it is pretty much everywhere...so, when you arrive at this or any other place of stay on San Pedro, you can't avoid that sea weed smell...takes about an hour to get used to it as it becomes part of the stay...we spent hours outdoor on the pool and pier so it doesn't bother you after a while....overall an A+ experience and we will be back here in near future!

We were a group of 8, two parents and our three adult children with their partners. We have traveled as a group previously to Maui and Grand Cayman and everyone enjoyed this trip the most. We asked the owner to arrange golf cart rentals and they were waiting for us at the house and everyone loved scooting around the island on them. Many great restaurants, we will have to go back just to get them all in, we loved the fresh fish, lobster, and latin cuisines. Some of our favorites were Marbucks (breakfast) Elvi's kitchen, Truck Stop (finished in the money on trivia night which was a blast for everyone) Tipsy Lobster, Neri's tacos (ate there after checking in for departure flight, less than twenty five for all eight of us including drinks), El Fagon, and Stellas sunset. The pool and beach area at the house were fantastic, and the house is close to Secret Beach which we really enjoyed especially on very windy days as Secret beach is on other side of island and very calm. We utilized the kayaks on good days and went all the way out to the barrier reef, one of the kayaks has an anchor and we tied the other kayak to it while we snorkeled. Lots of fish out there. Victor arranged an all day snorkel trio for us and the meal we had on the boat, lobster chicken, and fish was our favorite of the whole vacation cooked right in front of us on a tiny grill with coconut husks and bbq charcoals. Beds were comfortable and Naomi cleaned every day which is a rarity for VRBO rentals. Large fridge for leftovers or groceries, we stopped on way to house from airport to pick up those. Plenty of room to spread out in house, nice kitchen table to eat or play games on, living area with small TV and large couch, tv gets all the main channels on cable. Upstairs has table and couch to read or work on, wifi hotspot located upstairs for better reception. All in all very happy and highly recommend.

They always made sure we had everything we asked for. We loved their two dogs and always felt safe with them around. We had the guy pick us up for fun snorkeling on shark alley. We also had a guy pick us up on the dock for a wonderful dinner at the Portifino. One last word of advice: buy fresh seafood from the man that comes by on his bike and if you don't feel like cooking breakfast or going out the burrito guy that comes by with his burritos is a fun option.

The home owner in the USA was so pleasant, easy to reach, accommodating, perfect. There are a husband & wife, Victor & Noami, who live on the 2+ acre property, in their care taker home. The Villa is lovely, while being a bit rustic as well. All 4 bedrooms are spacious. The setting is just breathtakingly beautiful. We arranged with the owner ahead of our arrival, to have Noami prepare a welcome dinner for the 8 of us. It was also a birthday celebration. I did ask for a cake to be there, not only was there a cake, but she had a few lovely decorations & a huge sparkler candle. It was great fun and delicious! I spoke with the owner before leaving the USA regarding Golf Cart Rentals. He recommended 2 carts for the 8 of us. The owner had Victor, set up the rental and they were waiting for us at our villa. I HIGHLY recommend that you take the flight to Ambergris Caye and NOT the Boat/Ferry - its way too LONG a trip! We boated over & flew back! Just a very short up the beach is a fabulous restaurant and bar - Coco Cabana!!! They're open for lunch, dinner, drinks and its soooooo good!!!! Also, Victor arranged a snorkling tour for us. We had 1 scuba diver, as well. Victor, had "Scuba Steve" pick us up at our private pier/dock for the afternoon adventure and we were brought right back hoem - PERFECT!I highly recommend staying here. It wasDELIGHTFUL!!!
