Such an amazing stay at Shangri-la they make you feel at home with the employees always being helpful and respectful! I want to give Bonnie the owner a huge thank you for making the stay stress free and proving her amazing home to our family. Definitely a family friendly environment with 24 hour security. Everything at Shangri-la is always clean and maintained. I will definitely be recommending everyone to stay here. Once again thank you Bonnie for the amazing experience we had! (:

Bonnie was very good about not "overcommunicating". She didn't bombard us with lists of rules and extra requirements. Her place is really nice.

We had an amazing time. The property is gorgeous with an amazing view of the mountains and ocean. Right across the street of the marina, which has a lot of restaurants. Pool was beautiful and never ending. I would highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Shangri-La. This unit is spacious and comfortable. It offers one of the best views of the bay from the marina area. It's very well furnished, but we spent most of our time on the giant balcony. We were just a small group of 4, but this unit would be just fine for a larger group. Super fast wifi and several TVs for streaming. This is a great condominium complex that is only a 5 minute drive from the airport. The pool is huge and has vastly fewer people than nearby hotel resorts. There is also a restaurant and bar, but is only open until 5. No real problem though, because the marina across the street has lots of restaurants. Really an enjoyable stay and we hope to return.

This is a great property for anyone seeking lovely accommodations and a great pool. Very spacious and modern. Great deck off the living room as well. Our only suggestion would be to have a large water bottle holder that guests could use and buy new bottles for if they run out. Think of the large water cooler bottles. Would save the waste of buying so many smaller plastic bottles of water. Other than that was a terrific experience

This condo is as fabulous as it looks. I would stay here again in a second and would not hesitate to recommend. Here are a few things I learned that might help you: 1. Pick up from the airport was relatively easy, but the vehicle brought to retrieve the 6 of us and all our luggage was too small. The driver thought we were a party of 4. 2. You cannot beat the view/location. The pictures don't do it justice. You are a mere 6 min walk to the marina which offers shopping, dining, convenience stores, pharmacies galore. The roads are not level which proved a bit difficult for my elderly mother and her walker, but we managed. 3. Marina-we ate at Fajita Banana, CJ's Texas, and La Terrazza di Roma. Something for everyone and delicious. Prices were very reasonable and all took credit cards 4. Shangri La has its own restaurant/bar near the pool and the food was really very good. Important to note that they don't take credit cards and prefer payment in Pesos. They will do carry out, but close early at 5 pm. 5. Owner provides plenty of towels both for the pool/beach and bathrooms. If you go on any excursions you must bring your own towels. Some beach toys are available too. My teens very much enjoyed the boogie boards. 6. We used uber to get around and the fares were cheap. $3 one way to closest Walmart. Uber will pick you up at the tower if you notify the front gate (dial 0) that you're expecting one. A great experience in a beautiful place! You won't regret it.

The condo was perfect - for a family of six! Location to the Marina - grocery stores - good food - wonderful pool - and right on the ocean! Beautiful sunset and sunrises! Only suggestion I would make is adding a comment about the rules of the pool - and putting some floaty for adults in the condo. Thank you so much for sharing your condo with our family! We loved Shangri-La!

Bonnie’s condo was perfect. We all were very impressed with the service and how kind the staff was. It was very busy at the airport when we arrived but our driver was there and got all of us (6) to the condo in no time at all. It was very clean with all the comforts of home except the snow that we returned to. Hopefully we will all be able to return soon.

Sitting on the balcony watching the whales and cruise ships every morning was amazing! Steps away from the marina and tons of delicious restaurants The pool and grounds are beautiful and well kept. This unit is a beautiful unit but just needs a few things fixed. Would definitely stay here again

The Pros; Condo is in wonderful location with beautiful views. Great walkability to the Marina area. Beautiful grounds and pool area. Nice pool bar and restaurant on site. The condo itself is large and accommodated a group of 8 easily and made hosting a bridal event easy the day before a wedding. Air conditioning works very well and the condo was comfortable bedding wise. The Cons: The condo needs some repair work. The large soaker tub was out of commission and ripped apart when we arrived. The washing machine was full of mould stains and had that musty smell. Huge cracks all over the condo walls possibly from the most recent earthquake last fall despite advertised a recently all freshly painted. The biggest problem was with check in. we arrived at 3 as per check in time. Security had no notice of us arriving. We managed to get to the correct tower which security said to go to and had been told by our host Bonnie concierge Alfredo would look after us. We arrived to find no Alfredo but another concierge who told us housekeeping was still cleaning should be about 20 minutes. An hour an a half later 8 people in the lobby no Alfredo still. A couple owners said they knew Alfredo and put us in touch. It was the wrong Alfredo and of course he said he had no record of us renting. The chatter in the lobby went to "these people have been scammed" It was terrible momment. No one could help and no one to contact. Finally 2.5 hours later someone came down from cleaning and said the condo was ready. We went up and all seemed well. I did eventually find a small piece of paper in a cupboard that had the name Alfredo on in and a number. THIS was the correct contact person. It was pure luck we found this number as we needed him to coordinate with security the arrival of photographers and such for our daughters wedding. He was responsive and did his job well at the point. Overall the stay started out rough but ended well. Would recommend fine tuning the communication system between the concierge and the new arrivals to help with a future experience such as we had.

The condo was beautiful and clean. There were some issues with hot water in some of the bathrooms. I had arranged a 5:00pm checkout on my last day. The cleaning lady showed up at 8:00 and started cleaning the condo. There was a missed communication and the next tenants were arriving at 2:00. It made our last day at the condo a little unpleasant. I would stay there again, just be very clear on your dates and times.

Great stay with our family at this oceanfront condo! Very clean, spacious and condo staff very friendly and helpful. Pool area service was good also. Kitchen could be stocked with more bowls, cups but otherwise was well stocked. Great location near marina to be able to walk to restaurants.

Floor to ceiling windows, beautiful views, spacious layout, great pool, large kitchen. Great location - You can walk to the marina in minutes with 15+ restaurants, shops and ice cream for the kids Absolutely Loved it !!!

This is THE place if you want the best view of PV, along with luxurious accommodations, and one of the best resort pools EVER! I would live here if I could. It's that good! Don't hesitate to book it if you're on the fence. You'll have no regrets! Looking forward to returning soon! Thank you for offering this little slice of heaven on Earth.

We leave today and will take back wonderful memories of Puerto Vallarta and this amazing condo. The apartment was spacious, beautifully and thoughtfully decorated, with that real "pride of ownership" feel. Everything felt as though it had just been carefully checked, just for us. The kitchen equipment was immaculate and that really matters to me. It was more than I could have hoped for. We are already talking of a return trip. And we are a pretty fussy bunch! Thank you so much!

Excellent Christmas Vacation! Our family of 5 plus Brother-In-Law and niece (14) spent 10 days in this paradise. Teresita and Bonnie were very helpful and responsive while planning our trip. It was so nice to be picked up at the airport and taken to the condo. The views are even more beautiful than the pictures. The swimming pool was fantastic for everyone. The location was great as well with an easy 5 minute walk to the Marina with shops and restaurants. The Marina has a local market from 6-9 that we were able to attend and buy Yelapa Pies (local special). For Christmas we wanted to have tamales. We asked Teresita and she went and bought some for us. We went on many excursions and enjoyed them all to give us an idea of the area. Pirate ship at night was fantastic and included meals, unlimited drinks, show, dancing and fireworks. All tours were booked through Vallarta Adventures. No disappointments as all of the tours were exactly what was described. Sayulita Escape on UTVs was super exciting with the most adventurous trail we have ever been on with huge boulders, tree roots, sharp turns, steep drops and gorgeous views! Whale watching turned out to be great as we saw a large pod of whales with about 8 whales slapping the water. Waterfalls at Yelapa were a hike to get to but fantastic as well as the snorkeling with fish all around! Rhythms of the night was a big hit. Finally a private tour of Puerto Vallarta. Only regret was not going to the hidden beach.

Loved it so much, we immediately booked the condo for another stay. It is a splurge, but the accommodations are worth it. Awesome to have an on-site bar open during the day. Many fantastic restaurants nearby at the marina. If you like cooking, the kitchen is well equipped. There is very little kept between guests so expect a grocery run for coffee, spices, etc.

We loved our stay at this condo. We spent a week there with our three adult children and their significant others. The condo was beautifully decorated and had most amenities needed to feel at home. The location was fantastic and we enjoyed most evenings eating at the Marina. Thursday evenings there is a fair at the Marina with lots of food and shopping. We ate many of our breakfasts and lunch at the pool bar, which was cheap and good. Teresa was a huge help throughout our stay. We will definitely rent this condo again.

Being met at the airport is a great way to start a trip - especially when you don’t speak the language. Our hostess walked us through the property to make sure we understood how to work all the fans etc. The views from this unit are exceptional! The poolside bar had great food and drinks. My family enjoyed the weight room. I would definitely come back here again.

Can’t say enough great things about this unit, we started coming to Bonnies condo 3 years ago. Within the unit, everything you would need is available. The condo is not clean, IT IS IMMACULATE!! As soon as you walk in, right off the elevator bank, you feel a sense of calm – that awww feeling  Every appliance needed was available and up-to-date in the unit, it is beautifully decorated and the view incredible… OMG!!! In the evenings, the balcony has an amazing view of the Malecon fireworks as well as the lightening on the ocean is amazing (we were there the first week of August). Also, the beds a very comfortable!The property manager (Teresita) was gracious & attentive to our needs and on-site staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay as comfortable and as memorable as possible. The restaurant on the property offers great food/drinks at reasonable prices as well. Since the property is across the Marina, a short walk offers many restaurants with a variety of cuisines (our favorite, Buenos Aires) as well as many OXXO (7Eleven) stores so you can purchase miscellaneous items. My only complaint (IF you can call it that) is that a drawer was broken – no big deal because staff is right on it.I appreciate (thank you Bonnie & Teresita) for all of your attention!!

From being met at the airport by Alexis to being personally seen off at the end our stay by Terasita, everything we needed was taken care of. Terasita met with us upon arrival, the next day she spent at least an hour with us scheduling our excursions, answered every question immediately and we were given nothing but exceptional service. The condo is absolutely beautiful. Is equipped with everything you need. All towels and linens, extra blankets and pillows, all kitchen utensils plus dinner and serving pieces. There was even pool and beach equipment (boogie boards, pool noodles, balls, etc.) Even grocery shopping was easy since sugar, spices, and standard pantry staples were provided. The complex is gated and the entrance has an attendant 24/7, so we felt completely safe. It’s right on the marina, so within walking distance of wonderful shopping, grocery stores, and great restaurants (highly recommend Mikado at the nearby Marriott hotel (another great suggestion from Terasita), fantastic table side hibachi and sushi. The chef even let three of us attempt one of her tricks at the grill). We had a magical family vacation in this property. And that says a lot for a party of 7 ranging in age from 11-70. The condo is close to everything you could ever want or need, yet quiet and secluded. We never had to share the enormous pool with more than 6-8 other people the whole time we were there. The beach area is private, for use only by those staying at Shangri-la. So there were always plenty of palapas available. The poolside restaurant/bar has wonderful snacks, breakfast, and lunch, and so inexpensive. We even took some guacamole and salsa to go one evening to pair with our dinner in the condo. I highly recommend this condo. The owner, Bonnie made booking and our arrival seamless. She and the Shangri-la staff have thought of everything and we will definitely stay here again should our travels bring us back to Puerto Vallarta. I’ve been to Mexico many times and traveled to many other resorts and beach rentals. This is, by far, the most beautiful, fun, memorable vacation I’ve ever been on. Our entire family will have nothing but fond memories of our time in Puerto Vallarta at this condo. Thank you Bonnie, Terasita, Alexis, Juan and Francisco-you made a magical week for me and my family.
