Unfortunate that such an incredible Villa has little view remaining and no sunshine after 2:30 pm during the winter months because of the gigantic condo/hotel built 2 years ago on the beach directly in front of of the Villa, blocking 75% of the view and sunshine. This was not made evident from the posted photos. Our sympathy is with the host, but that doesn’t help the situation. We were constantly looking for sunshine and warmth. There was absolutely no possibility of seeing the amazing sunsets advertised. The sun set about 6:30 and should have been incredible from any one of the amazing decks.
The villa itself, staff and meals were top notch.
Our family of 22 ranging in age from 3-75years felt very safe and well cared for. We were just very disappointed that we did not have the real scoop on the condo and its impact on the sunshine we were seeking. When we spoke to the host regarding our disappointment, she commented that she always tried to speak about this with the clients up front. Not sure how she missed contacting us as we had book the villa over 1 year in advance. We also had trouble accessing the wifi in many areas of the villa. Again a disappointment for such a top rated villa. If you’re looking for winter sunshine with an ocean view and sunset, this villa is not for you. If you’re looking for summer shade with little view, it might be perfect!

Casa La Villita couldn't have been more perfect for us - a family of 26. To have space for everyone to sleep, a huge dining area and several areas around the property to gather was exactly what I was hoping for when I booked our Thanksgiving family reunion in Puerto Vallarta.
The Villa itself was enchanting - very authentic, comfortable and colorful. The staff was amazing - the food delicious and they could not have been more accommodating.
I think what we enjoyed the most was that we were all able to be together without being surrounded by a lot of other people - like we've experienced taking a cruise, for instance. Everyone had their own space yet we were able to eat together, play in the pool area, sit in the hot tub and play games every evening as a family. How often does an extended family get to have time like this?
It was very convenient to just be across the street from the beach and we took advantage of the kayaks that were available to us. We also had "meditation mornings" where we walked the labyrinth together. Truly magical.
Karla was easy to work with answered all my questions promptly. This was a once in a lifetime experience for us and we'll be basking in the memories we made for many years to come.

Our stay at Casa La Villita was great. Karla was quick to respond to questions and the house staff was amazing. Fili was absolutely accommodating to our every request or need. The food was OUTSTANDING! The food selection is great and everything we tried was seriously amazing. The villa was clean and housekeeping was excellent. It was great being able to keep our group of 28 friends under one roof for our wedding trip. Thank you for everything!

This Villa is perfect for large groups. We had 22 in our party and the staff was amazing. The food was outstanding. Fili and Victor were very attentive and willing to go above and beyond. Claudia ironed everyone's items for our photo shoot. We couldn't have asked for more accommodating staff. Karla was very responsive throughout the planning process and understanding of concerns I expressed. Everyone was pleased with our stay.

The house is amazingly clean, every detail is just like the pictures. Perfect for large groups, we were 26. You don't have to worry about anything, the staff will go and buy groceries and drinks. They will take care of you so you can just relax and enjoy. Also the chef Maria is very flexible on the menu, she can cook anything!
Location is minutes away from downtown restaurants and bars. Amazing sunset views in the rooftop terrace.

We came down to get married. We brought 28 family members and loved the size of the house. We were greeted with a great staff that took very good care of us and our needs. Fili and Victor are the best. They are very friendly and helped with all our needs. Fili set up activities for everyone to do and recommended they best spots to visit and enjoy. Louis was also helpful and attentive. Our chef Maria was top notch, she cooked for 28 to 33 people on a given day and the food was amazing. Our guests stated they preferred the food at the house and were very impressed. Karla was also great. She was always there to answer any question I had. She also helped me get in touch with trusted vendors for our wedding and helped to make the process less stressful for a bride to be. I would definitely come back and stay as well as many of our family and friends. I wish I was sitting by the pool having one of Fili’s Pina colodas. Thank you for making our wedding beautiful and very memorable!!!!

Truly the trip of a lifetime. We went for my bachelorette party and 30th birthday. There were 19 girls and we had the time of our lives. Fili, Victor and the rest of the staff are THE BEST at what they do. The food is incredible, the casa is STUNNING and we will be back!

Our stay at Casa La Villita was incredible. The house was exceptionally beautiful and clean. Access to the beach was quick and easy. Fili and Victor and the rest of the staff are hands down the best anyone could ask for. They accommodated each and every request regarding everything from travel, excursions, snacks, drinks, meals and anything else you could possibly imagine. The entire staff did a unbelievable job during our entire stay. Each meal prepared by the staff was amazing. Just when we thought the meals could not be any better, the cook surprised us with an even better meal than the one before. Do yourself a favor and visit Casa La Villita AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! I know I will.

This was my 3rd trip to casa la villita and I brought 10 family members ranging from 13 to 67 years old. Everyone had a blast. Karla was attentive to all our needs before we arrived and Fili, Victor and the rest of the staff were amazing during our stay. The food was one again fantastic. Each meal was better than the one before.

Twelve adult family members were traveling for a birthday celebration. From the up front planning (Pie In The Sky) Cupcakes to Staff Greeting and Meals, any travel/flight time was forgotten in an hour. The staff was amazingly attentive, drinks served before could finish the last round! The Lobster, Carne Asada and Adobada tacos were incredible. The semi-private beach was a stones throw from the endless balcony spaces of the villa. Also, downtown was a 12 minute walk along the beach path. Everyone left ready to return, can't say enough.

Look no further as this house is fantastic in every aspect. Immaculate, impeccable service, incredible food and relaxing atmosphere. We were only able to stay 3 days but loved every minute! The photos reflect exactly what it is like. We would go again!

A beautiful and clean villa with absolutely wonderful staff. The food was delicious and a great view from every room. The only downfall is the poor internet and the small TV. For such a large place a flat screen would have been fun to watch the basketball tournament.

My wife and I spent a week in late February at this beautiful villa with a dozen other friends. We were able to take advantage of yoga, surfing, massage, lots of down time for reading and even a few afternoon naps. The evenings were for dinner out at a few very reasonably priced Puerto Vallarta restaurants. A funny thing happened midweek where we all collectively reached a similar conclusion. The food and staff were far superior to what was considered to be good restaurant food. We ended up eating almost all of our meals at the villa later in the week.
For those of us who cannot be unconnected from work, it should be mentioned that both the internet access and speed were excellent.
Also, for those not fond of an ocean experience, the large pool and surrounding area provided a lot of sun and shade.
Lastly, our private suite was large and well appointed with a nice spacious bathroom and plenty of hot water.

February escape to beautiful Casa la Vallita. We spent the week doing yoga in this perfect setting, eating wonderful fresh food, relaxing at the lovely pool and ocean access., The staff were amazing and took care of our every need. Our group hopes to return in the years to come.

We brought 16 people to Casa La Vallita this February. It was perfect. In the morning we did yoga on the roof top deck overlooking the ocean. Beautiful! A perfect place for watching the sunset as well. In the afternoon we did our yoga practice on the beautiful labyrinth in the shade. We also walked the labyrinth as a group and many did it individually as well. While there we watched the garden being transformed.
The villa is perfect for a group. Lots of places for privacy. The decorations and furnishings are all beautiful. The pool is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. It's a lovely walk along the beach into the Romantic Zone. And the staff is AMAZING! The food was wonderful and they were even able to provide us with delicious vegan meals.
We will definitely be back!

Our yoga group spent a week at Casa La Villita. What a wonderful experience! It was a perfect venue for our group. We have done several yoga retreats in previous years. Casa La Villita has been the best. Private bedrooms and baths were very comfortable. Public spaces were numerous with sun and shade options. The staff was first rate. It was truly a vacation, with staff anticipating all our needs. The food was first rate and the setting was breathtaking. We did morning yoga on the roof overlooking the ocean. Evening yoga on the labyrinth..............Idyllic.............

What a terrific location for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration for a couple and their 8 married children and spouses! The house staff were extremely helpful with tour and travel arrangements around the city. The food prepared on site was delicious and well worth the reasonable daily extra fee. The beach is a short walk down the hill. The multiple terraces provide stunning views of the water and sunset! We absolutely had a delightful time and look forward to returning!

What a great way to vacation, especially for a larger group. We had 18 there celebrating my in laws 50th anniversary. So perfect for gathering places but also super nice rooms to be alone too. Perfect place. And the STAFF! Felt so well cared for. I wanted to take them home they were so sweet. And the food they made was out of this world, no joke.

Casa De Villita exceed all expectations. The house is better than portrayed in the pictures. It's clean, beautifully situated and more than accommodated all 9 couples in our party. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was a highlight. It's close proximity to the beach and town made for easy entertainment. We would go back in a heartbeat.

The villa is beautiful and exactly like the photos - what you see is definitely what you get. The staff were fantastic. They are what really made the stay incredible!! They helped with anything and everything and were so friendly and fun. And the cook was awesome, I looked forward to every meal! It's in a good location - right across the street from the beach, and within walking distance (or cheap taxi distance when it's too hot) of old town. Karla, the owner, responded to emails quickly, answered all my questions, which made booking the villa and arranging our stay very easy. I would absolutely recommend you stay here.

We loved our time at Casa La Villita! Our room was beautiful and nicely air conditioned. The views are exquisite and most of all the staff is AMAZING! The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to look after our every need and more. the short distance into the old town of PV gave us a nice separation from all of the city's busyness when we wanted it, but was easy for us to head in with a short walk or a cheap cab ride. I have to say the impeccable views of the sunsets at night and the swimming dolphins in the mornings was another highlight of our trip.

Every year a group of us plan a vacation together. This year we were 7 couples with 3 young kids. We'd previously gone to Hawaii, but this year we wanted to try the Puerto Vallarta Area. After researching 50+ villas (many here on VRBO - one of my favorite owner rental sites), we settled on Karla's place Casa La Villita. Partly it was because it was close to town, at the ocean, the right large size - but it was also I just got a really good feeling from the listing and from talking to Karla. She was super responsive, offered great advice, and seemed like she genuinely cared. I'm happy to say after our 9 day trip earlier this month, that my intuition was right. The property was extraordinary. Great location, well maintained, amazing view's, and exceptional staff. I thought before that 4 villa staff would be too many, or they'd be "under-foot", and many of my party that the same (as in Hawaii, we did everything ourselves in past years). Amazingly, the staff were great at being of service, but out of the way. Having them serve breakfast and dinner, and cleaning up around us, helped us so much. It let us focus on connecting as friends and "family", and having time with our kids. We didn't have to think about grocery shopping, or cleaning up, or making beds. Karla also had great advice on local restaurants and a great babysitting service - so we truly felt cared for, across the board. I'm already planning dates for next year, as we plan to return to the area, and the villa, as our experience was such an upgrade from Hawaii. I so appreciate Karla for what she's creating with her place, and staff. Thank you!

What an amazing vacation! The villa was so beautiful in an equally beautiful location. The house was gorgeous but more importantly was the amazing staff. Everyone was so wonderful. Always there to meet your needs. The food and drinks were always great. We could not have asked for a better place for our group of friends to vacation. I will definitely be back! We had 16 total adults staying and we all had a blast. The house was amazing and the staff and service made it an outstanding stay. We opted to have meals and drinks prepaid and it all worked out great. Food was amazing. Definitely recommend this villa.

Oh my goodness, don't even know where to start! We rented the Villa for our daughter's Destination Wedding, site unseen. Karla was a delight to work with from the very start. We had many questions and concerns trying to plan a wedding, she was helpful with suggestions, etc..putting my mind at ease.. Like the others have stated, the pictures just don't capture the charm and sheer beauty of this place. Flowers and foliage through out, only add to the gorgeous OCEAN VIEWS! The wedding was held on the beach, just below the Villa, with the dinner, reception, and dancing all taking place @ the Casa. The staff was attentive, as well as very professional, catering to our every need. Anything that came out of the kitchen was delicious, a simple sandwich, French toast, or full course dinner! Kudos to Claudia who manages with ease and out interruption to keep the place sparkling clean! We hosted 24 of our guests...all with their own privacy, yet plenty of space for us to gather as a group, or find a quiet place to read. So very spacious!!! My daughter's Wedding was a dream come true, in large part because of this perfect Villa! Many many thanks to Karla, Fili, Rodrigo, Victor, and Claudia!!! Our guests will still be talking about this wonderful place for weeks to come. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!!!

Casa la Villita was a magical place for our wedding! When we arrived, we were completely amazed, as the property exceeded any expectations that we had derived based solely on website photos. The website is great, but until you actually walk through the property you can’t get a feel for the sheer size and space. We were able to have 20 people stay comfortably with us during the week of our wedding. Our rehearsal dinner event and the reception were held at the villa with our dream wedding just a short walk down to the beach – incredible! It couldn't have been a better way for us to start our life together. Celebrating with our closest family and friends for the week truly gave us the chance to enjoy our wedding and spend time with people - something you wouldn't get in a one day event.
The crucial element to making our wedding such a success was the interaction and assistance from Karla prior to arrival combined with the amazing house staff once we were there. There is no way to fully express my gratitude to the exceptional staff – they were exceedingly helpful, warm and friendly – attending to every detail, and believe me with a wedding there were a lot of details. The house manager took me to a small local shop for flowers and saved us a tremendous amount of money while still enabling me to have the bouquets and arrangements I imagined. He even took our wedding dinner "chef to the local markets for local, fresh food items.
It was a dream wedding, one our friends can't stop talking about. Thinking we'll be back for a five year anniversary!

My extended family and I stayed at Casa La Villita for two weeks over Christmas vacation. Everything was perfect from the beautiful accommodations, wonderful meals and the caring staff. Fili, Victor, Rodrigo and Claudia were amazing and took great care of all seventeen of us - from my 10 year old nephew to my 84 year old dad.
Karla was great to work with and made sure everything was ready for our arrival.
Casa La Villita is very spacious which makes it so comfortable for a large group. We loved having dinner together every night, lounging around the pool, playing on the beach and walking into Puerto Vallarta. We welcomed in the New Year from the top of the villa where we could see fireworks from all around the bay - fantastic! We highly recommend Casa La Villita and it's wonderful staff.
