We appreciated the lovely pool area and range of outdoor areas to sit. We were also grateful that all the rooms had working air conditioners, fans and bathrooms. Being able to contact Eva the manager also made it more comfortable.

We would have appreciated advice about how rugged the roads are in this part of Zakynthos, as we would have made sure we rented a 4WD. The stress of getting stuck on gravel roads which our car could not manage did impact out holiday. Also, there was no wifi for the first half of our trip and even after when it was ‘fixed’, the signal was still too weak to download even a short video, and no connection at all downstairs in our room. Of course it is an island so we do understand, but advice to prepare for patchy internet would also have been appreciated. And lastly, it would be nice to include more items in the house to improve the comfort of our stay eg. Soap, more toilet paper, better kitchen utensils eg no tongs or sharp knives.

Great terraces and views across island to the sea. Lovely that all rooms opened onto the large terrace. Clearly a family owned (and treasured) property and it made us feel at home and very relaxed. Both the owner and the cleaner/manager were very helpful.

Hard to be critical as a very nice play to stay but 3 points would be: 1. No microwave. 2. Built in BBQ looked good but was poor with cheap cooking trestles and no height adjustment. BBQ billowed smoke all over the terrace and dining area as the chimney is too short to 'pull' the smoke upwards - making it unpleasant to eat outside - could be easily fixed by a taller chimney flue. 3. No lights in the pool (and very few around it) meaning late evening swims were not an option for our family.

The view was great. It was secluded and quiet. It was a short drive to get photos of Shipwreck beach, from above. The kitchen had everything to be able to cook your own meals. The pool was in great shape and private

The location is away from almost everything. The drive from the port (ferry) or airport, is a minimum of 45 minutes. It was VERY difficult to find, even with directions. There is air conditioning in only two of the four bedrooms. The kitchen and living area have no air conditioning. Since we were there in July, it was too uncomfortable to spend any time in those areas. Since there was no air conditions in those areas, you had to open windows and doors for air circulation. This lead to visits from multiple insects, geckos, and a friendly cat. This would be a good place for one, or multiple families, in months where it is not so hot. In my opinion, this is not a great value for the money

Fabulous location, stunning views, very large villa with a super pool- it was perfect for 2 families with teenagers.
