The location is superb. We could see the sea right outside our window and it’s on the same road as some of the most expensive hotels in Mumbai, and the area is very accessible.

The overall cleanliness of the room and towels could be improved.

Great location within walking distance of attractions and shops, and the view from the rooftop over the harbour is beautiful. Restaurant service was very good and the food was good quality and tasty, with plenty of options. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Within easy reach of the train station. Room was comfortable and spacious, clean, and air con working well.

Hotel is on 3rd floor and not well signposted from outside - you need to go into Strand hotel and go to the top floor. Security staff are friendly and happy to direct you though. Also I requested airport pickup, messaged twice on booking.com and emailed for asking for confirmation with no response - I wasn’t met by anyone at the airport. 2 hours after I landed I received an email saying collection wasn’t possible that day. Slightly better communication is needed to ensure a smoother arrival.

Beautiful hotel rooms, great views, clean and impeccable. We loved the rooftop restaurant and the wonderful South Indian breakfasts. The staff were amazingly helpful and assisted us with many aspects of vacation planning and getting settled.

It was a little noisy at first but we asked to change rooms and then it was very quiet and peaceful.

The hotel could have been rated higher if more details go into cleaning. There was a hair in the shower, bed sheet didn't look clean (it might just be old) and the top cabinets in the bathroom were dusty. These are minor but I did sleep with my sleeping bag liner.

Excellent Location facing the bay. Close to Gateway Of India. Close to Arab Street and good restaurants. Rooms were well decorated. The view from the room is stunning. Value for money.

Staff could have been friendlier. Tiles in bathroom affected by condensation. Blockage in shower drain.

Location was suburb , near to gate of India, near the restaurants, shopping Arab perfumes,& fast food . Hotel water pressure in toilet was too good.
