Great location, fabulous views, friendly and helpful staff

A bit dated

Room was amazing and the view was to die for. Service was perfect and the room very very clean. Breakfast was good too. The property is really good especially if you travel with kids as it has a resort feel in the heart of Bombay. The mini golf and rabbits and aviary add to the appeal!

The view is amazing, overlooking the Arabian Sea. Breakfast was really good, staff are super switched on and pleasant. In room dining was great.

They need to be flexible on early check in, especially if the rooms are available, I had to pay for a full day for a few hours, it can be avoided by them. Min Yang restaurant food is average, and please it was a joke with the bag pipers playing, or utensils banging, and some theme on spirits, etc....looked very weird actually, I had to ask what was happening.

The location is very good. central for access to suburbs and to town. The breakfast spread was nice.

The room had a very musty smell, which was a big put off . The house keeping staff was nice to try to sort it out but didn't work. The check out staff unfortunately was not the most helpful. I travelled with my 12 yr old daughter which was mentioned in my booking along with her age, at checkout they wanted to charge me for an additional adult, which was a surprise as nothing was mentioned at check in. They were well aware she was above 12 yrs old as they took a copy of her passport and her age was clearly mentioned on the booking. The check out was handled unprofessionally, and the manager was a bit rude when i told her i was in a rush, as i had a flight to catch.

Every employee I met was professional personal. It was amazing they way they helped and took care. I had major issues with the airline, delays and lost luggage, they help handle all of it and got it solved. This is just one example of th willingness to help and achieving the goal.

I had left my passport in the safe of their sister hotel the Taj Mahal Palace, the return of this to me was handled so well and I was most impressed especially with the Concierge who clearly knew I was nervous about it - also a Shout out to the Taj Mahal Palace for their part as well !

Access was a little clunky but not enough to really be bothered about it. I think the Entry staff could be a bit friendlier, but again no one was rude so maybe I shouldn't complain 😂

Location

One stuff from in room dining namely Umang Arora was very unpleasant and rude. He irritated us multiple times by denying simple request like providing glass and by sending wrong alcohol orders to our room purposefully.

There is nothing to like in it. Other than the location, it was a BIG disappointment

Good waterfront location. Great breakfast, go early to beat the crowds. Nice gym, beautiful sunsets. If good soundproofing from your neighbours is important to you, go for the Taj Club rooms. Staff were very helpful. Overall very good.

Apart from breakfast, it’s restaurants including the Indian speciality one are disappointing in terms of food quality, service and price. It’s hotel standard, but there is a real opportunity here to improve here and deliver something better.

All the staffs were exceptional. The rooms were clean as expected.

I recently stayed at Taj Lands' End, and I regret to say that my experience fell far short of the high standards I associate with the Taj brand. Allow me to elaborate on the disappointments: Negatives: Dining Incident: During my visit to the Taj Lounge, I discovered a hair strand in my food. This is simply unacceptable for a luxury establishment like Taj Lands' End. Hygiene and attention to detail should be non-negotiable. While I appreciate the gesture of offering a complimentary champagne to compensate for the inconvenience, the presence of a hair strand should not have occurred in the first place. Room Comfort: The room assigned to me lacked the spaciousness I expected. It felt more like a budget hotel room than a premium offering. The furnishings were tired, and the overall ambiance was underwhelming. To add to the disappointment, we found a band-aid tucked between the pillows and cushions on the bed. Service Inconsistencies: While some staff members were courteous and efficient, others seemed disinterested or overwhelmed. The lack of consistency in service quality was evident throughout my stay. In summary, my experience at Taj Lands' End was a disappointment. As a loyal Taj customer, I expected excellence, but unfortunately, this visit did not live up to that reputation. I sincerely hope that the management takes these feedback points seriously and works toward improving the overall guest experience.

The room was very clean and nice, the view was good. The staff were very welcoming and polite, went an extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. We were a bit late but the staff ensured we had enough things to eat for breakfast. The check in and check out was quick and effortless. Over all a good place to stay.

Room, Stay, Location and Cleanliness

Staff was rude and arrogant. Basic issues at Taj Club Lounge. Coffee Machine was not clean. Server/Waiter stared cleaning coffee machine in front of. Another server and waiter came in and started arguing about who was supposed to clean it yesterday and why someone didn’t clean it. This is completely unprofessional to do so in front of guest. That coffee machine cleaning took 45 mins and I asked for hot water multiple times for my dipping tea bag tea…but coffee machine was the only way to dispense the hot water!! At Lobby 2 Kitchen, servers were not trained properly. 4 people were sitting at a table and server served 1 dis only to 3 people then she got another dish that we ordered and again she started serving same 3 people keeping the 4th persons dish completely empty. This common sense. Servers are not trained properly at all. In breakfast they kept actual honey comb for honey dispenser which was just show off and required 2 people to hold and press and then too dispense that honey out of that comb. Which took like 5 mins just for 1 spoon of honey! Is it really necessary to make a show out of it if that thing?

There is nothing not to love about any of the Taj properties, I had the best stay ever - I only wish it was longer. The facilities are absolutely incredible, the staff are above and beyond helpful. It was just the most wonderful hotel. Location is superb, views were beautiful

The pool was a bit smaller than I would have expected.

Nice hotel with lovely grounds and a great ocean view. Sunsets were particular nice here. We made good use of the Club Lounge, which was very nicely appointed and enjoyed breakfast there over the dining room downstairs which was busier but did have more options. Rooms and bathroom were a good size. Staff were very kind.

The hotel and facilities feel a bit dated. We arrived to a dirty bathroom which was a bit of a surprise, but thankfully the hotel staff rectified this soon thereafter. Beds were not terribly comfortable.

Location is ok…but the service has deteriorated since I last stayed there. Don’t think I will stay there again.

Very dated for a 5 star hotel when compared to other 5 star hotels around the world. You’d expect the basics like towels in your bathroom, enough pillows etc. all was lacking and when requested it simply didn’t happen - that’s when you just had to find somebody and stick with them to get what you needed. Before when I stayed you had a choice of pillows - they’ve obviously cut back!!!

Stayed for 1 night the staff at check in was really polite & friendly he upgraded me & my husband to a beautiful room which was a nice surprise! Again hospitality in Taj was excellent and just to mention hospitality in India 🇮🇳 is the tops and definitely unbeatable ! Unfortunately I cannot upload videos of the Taj as I don’t have an option to do this.

موقع الفندق في منطقة كئيبة وقديمة جداً وغير نظيفه. الفندق مبنى قديم تم تطويره ولكن قديم حجزت قبل قدومي واخترت يوم قبل القدوم لتكون الغرفة جاهزه وللاسف لم تكن جاهزه وانتظرت في الاسبقبال بالرغم من مراسلتي للفندق قبل اقلاع الطائرة الدوليه

I had a booked a club room reservation inclusive of the High tea and cocktail hours. Frankly both the event were utterly disappointing The High tea was a shame with simply no decent snack served even when there were countable guests The cocktail hours was further more disappointing!! I mean during Diwali season in a club room how can you serve only 2 snacks for veg and non veg that too with a 2-3 pieces in each portion As always we had to keep reminding the bartender to get our drinks!! Now to the room... How can the club room keep differing on each reservation!! Clearly the room given was not club room!! No glass bathroom... The water from the shower area was getting spilled outside... The bathrobe in the room had hairs in the collar and the sleeves areas!!! The cushions and the duvets were leaving all the lint every time we use it Even after insisting the reservation staff who accompanied us to the room she kept insisting that it was a club room... I have stayed at your location in the club on multiple occasions I expected much better stay during the festival season
