Super netter Gastgeber, hilfsbereit. Er hat uns sogar ein besseres Zimmer mit Balkon gegeben obwohl wir es nicht gebucht hatten. Die Lage war sehr schön und ruhig. Perfekt zum ausruhen nach einem langen Wander Weg.

Eigentlich war alles perfekt. Nur kam leider aus der Dusche wenig Wasser raus. Aber man konnte da trotzen gut duschen.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The staff was so friendly and welcoming and informed us about things to do. The room has a big bed, a bathroom with a nice warm shower and a wonderful balcony. There is a ventilator and an AC to keep you cool. It is very easy (5 - 10min walk) to get to the little shops and to the entrance of the national park. If you want breakfast you have the option to go for 15 RM/person. It was a highlight for us because it is a big buffet and you can order eggs, pancakes, omelettes etc. There is toast, sweets and coffee. We had the best time, thank you so much!

Everything was great. The balcony was nice to sit out on when it rained. They do a great breakfast buffet. All the staff are friendly and helfpul.

I wait for half an hour. Tried to call the staff but no 1 pick up. There's no one at the hotel. The hotel is locked. Really bad service 👎👎👎👎👎

The welcome from the owner, he was so friendly and explained everything. He organised a taxi for us when we left. There was water to buy on site. It was great being able to sit on the balcony and chill. The location was great, a short walk to the river restaurants and into town. It was spotlessly clean and the air con was great. Excellent value for money!

Everything was absolutely wonderful! This is the perfect guest house to use as home base for a few days of hiking and exploring Taman Negara. The balcony is big and spacious with a sitting area and a rack to dry clothes (much needed after swimming in waterfalls and getting splashed on the boat). The room is so clean and spacious with a little sitting area for breakfast coffee. We were more comfortable here than in any other guest house in our month traveling in Malaysia. 11/10 would recommend!!!

Really good location and the room was clean and comfortable. A large balcony with chairs and table where you can sit in the evenings in peace and quiet. The bed is the most fabulous! I slept like a baby! Nice cozy mattress and a magical pillow with soft bedsheets. Never slept better! The bathroom was clean and simple with good hot water from the shower. Nothing special. A small area with table and chairs indoors also that's nice. Free tea and coffee. In the mornings you can have breakfast next to the reception buffet style if you desire for an extra cost. The owner is the sweetest person and took care of us, giving us information about the tours and also taking us to the bus station when leaving.

There is nothing wrong with the room, but the building itself would need some renovation asap.

The room was big, it had a kettle, free instant coffee/tea. It was quiet at night.

There was mould all over the bathroom walls. The room is very dark and needs some renovation. We made the mistake of thinking we had a room with a balcony booked, which we didn’t (they also offer that for just a tiny price difference). With a balcony we think it would be different, because there is no space to really sit outside.

Right off the bat, the host was welcoming and informative. He gave us a list of all the activities we could do, and we were able to book our excursions through him. He drove us down to the meet-up point for our excursions, too, which was fantastic. The room itself was just as pictured; spacious, and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the A/C worked perfectly.

It seemed a little bit "far" from the main part of town. Kuala Tahan is very small, so everything was within walking distance, but this place felt a little bit like on the outskirts. Not a problem, but just an observation.

wifi didn’t extend to the room

it’s a small town, so you’re not too far from anything. about a 5 min walk from the river that takes you to National park. bed was super comfortable with large window, so you had natural light coming in. a/c kept my room cool all night long. everything felt very clean. the bedding was soft and towels smelled clean. I truly appreciate that

WiFi might be spotty depending on what room you’re in. my room had good reception, but other hosts didn’t.

Rooms were big and spacious and I loved that there was a balcony. Washrooms were also nicely laid out so that the toilet didn't get too wet when you used the shower. I loved that there was an extra table and sitting area inside the room as well and my room had both an AC and fan which was great because I didn't have to turn on the AC on full blast (had it on dehumidify mode and just let the fan do some of the work). The host was super kind and helpful as well! I would definitely stay there again.

The staff was really friendly and help with everything, they were very honest with the tours recommendations and very nice people as well.

The location can be tricky to find if you arrive by car.
