It was very central and on a nice hood, nice cafes and restaurant walking distance.
It was all good for the money paid.

The place has been very comfortable for our quick one day family trip to Chennai. Maintained very clean and the breakfast provided was good. The host been very responsive with our booking details and guidance on few question we had on location and reaching the place and kind enough to extend the stay by an hour to accommodate our request. We relied on Uber for most of our travelling need and the we had no issues in getting cab/auto at short notice from this place.

Large room, great shower and AC. Very clean. Great communication from Ms Rao, and, as many people have noted, Buddha is a fantastic support. It's located in a nice part of town, and easy to get to Mylapore, Music Academy and TNagar from here also. Room rate is very reasonable.

Fine place to stay. Very helpful with transfer from the airport (INR 700 by prepaid taxi, ask driver to call the owner for directions) and get me going on my first day in Chennai. Highly appreciated. Room was spacious. Private bathroom next to the room. Simple but delicious homemade idli breakfast. Quiet neighbourhood, with a some places to eat just a couple of streets walking. Uber worked great in Chennai for both tuktuks and an 'intercity' taxi to Mahabalipuram. Thanks!!

Breakfast was only single item. Dosa quality good.
The owner allowed 5 hours extra after checkout time upto 5 pm. As we came only at 4.45 am , it was a good relief.
Breakfast could have been atleast 2-3 items for the rent charged.
It was informed while booking that the property is less than 0.8 km from Germany visa processing center. Actually it was more than 5kms.

The apartment decoration look a little tired but it's all very clean and simple and I would stay there again. The management and staff are very accommodating and the lounge area makes you feel very much at home.

Fan speed regulator missing. Bathroom fittings need to be upgraded. Bathroom entrance floor level difference makes it unfriendly for elders

Liked that access to the kitchen was given for boiling water and also breakfast was prepared at 7.30 on our request. Location is really nice.
The location is superb but the room given to us was bit old and wasn't clean enough. No amenities like at least a bottle of mineral water or blankets or handwash in bathroom. Breakfast was just 3 dosa. Had to request coffee. The kitchen next to our room is in unsable condition. The apartment opposite to us was much better including the kitchen. So I felt for the money 2400 Rs hotel room would be a better option. I guess it's more suitable for longer stays.

it was wonderful and the care taker Mr Buddha is really an amazing guy.. the host was also too good.. even if u are a single lady also without any fear your can stay in your room.. I went with my parents and they also felt it like home.. I took triple sharing room with balcony and it was so good…

Quiet location, construction next door notwithstanding; breakfast and coffee in the morning was a good way to start the day; Savitha was only a phone call away and she was there a few times during my stay. When I needed the sports channel on the TV, Savitha took care of it immediately so she was a hands-on manager
There is construction going on the next plot so expect noise, inconvenience and some pollution in early 2023. Buddha is the live-in caretaker but occasionally he needs a break too. I saw other guests asking for coffee/tea so in the morning hours, preparing a pot of coffee or tea and leaving it in the common area would be helpful to all

Everything is good but there is no proper bedsheets.. every other hotel provides with quilt along with complimentary water but Happy Planet didn't provide any. Location and ambience good but didn't meet my expectations and most importantly no hot water.
