Very spacious, every room is a good size. Decorated very nicely. Housekeeper was lovely, friendly and made us feel very welcome.

The place is very nice, we had everything, from the washing machine to kitchen supplies. The parking is always available next to the property.

Nice and clean, spacious with a well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms... Really all you need. The lady who showed us the property was nice, but... The beds were comfy, there was hot water all the time, parking next to the house available. We enjoyed the view from the terrace and the balcony (huge garden that feels like a botanical garden). It's close to many hiking trails. You really need a car to get there! It's far from the centre and high up on the hill!

I would expect more care of the guests - a message here and there to check if everything is OK, if we need anything else, etc. I missed this a bit, although we did not need anything. There was communication via the booking app before our arrival, we got the number on the lady who was awaiting us there.

We enjoy our stay here so much. We spend here a week, and we were so sad to leave this place. Fully equipped, spacious and comfortable. Perfect place if you have a car

It was always a little bit too much humid and one could smell it everytime we came back from a trip. I think a couple of humid absorbera should fix it ;)

This is a big house with three bedrooms; it is very well equipped - a nice kitchen (microwave, plates, cutlery etc), nice furniture, air-condition (also heat) in each room, large bathrooms, large and comfortable living room. The owners are extremely helpful and responsive. The road is quiet and there is plenty of parking near the house. It is a short drive to all of Santana's attractions.

The host lives abroad; the allocated house-keeper does not provide hospitality (which is quite strange in friendly Madeira). Nobody lives in the house, so when you get in, there isn't even salt. Nor pepper, oil etc'. We checked in on New Year's day, when all supermarkets are closed. The housekeeper didn't think of placing a bottle of milk in the fridge. The beautiful bathrooms are indeed beautiful, but there isn't enough hot water for more than one bath. So if several people share the house and one of them takes a bath, the others may have a cool shower. The location is a bit out-of-the-way. Too far to walk to the centre, to the shops, or to the start of the hikes. Saying that, it is only a few minutes' drive, so no big deal.
